I live in Syracuse and have been to 2 games, one in 2019 and one in 2022. Both games were rained out. Going to a game here isn't awful or anything... there's just not much *to* the ballpark or the experience of watching the Binghamton Mets. For one, I bought my ticket online... and while I printed an electronic copy of the info (just in case), I had anticipated picking up a printed ticket at Will Call. Upon arriving, there was no ticket waiting (even though I had noted Will Call as my preference). The attendant at Will Call indicated that this is a fairly common problem, mentioning that they just never get him all the tickets he's supposed to have. I ended up at a ticket window to ask if my ticket could be printed off, and the woman seemed unsure of how to do so... having to call someone over to assist. Sure, I could have probably just used my e-ticket-type option, but I keep printed tickets as a souvenir/indicator of which ball parks I've visited. It shouldn't be so hard to get a printed ticket, and hasn't been in any other stadium (major or minor league) that I've visited. After entering into the ballpark from the main entrance, it's basically just a concrete walkway to the left and a concrete walkway to the right. I stopped for a bratwurst at a concession stand a bit down on the right side, and the stand was being tended two by two younger guys. After getting my bratwurst, one of them asked "any toppings or anything I can get for you?" and I mentioned I would just add some sauerkraut... but before I could even finish, the other younger guy turned to the one who had handed me my order and said "we don't do that!" Umm...dude... it's a bratwurst. And the sauerkraut is right in front of me. It'll be fine, and you'll survive without a brat-related breakdown, I promise. Anyway, I wandered off to my seat to eat, since there aren't any real locations around the stadium where you can stand and enjoy something from the concession area. The stadium is generally enjoyable, and my view from the front row of section 5 was nice. Forewarning though: I'm 5'6" and could have used some extra legroom in my row. Perhaps I've been spoiled while visiting other stadiums (shout out to PNC Field, home of the Railriders), but many stadiums account for a bit of extra legroom in the front row of certain sections because they're usually considered premium. Alas, not so for Binghamton. I feel like I'm whining, especially because it's a AA team and everything... but the experience just felt lacking. Perhaps the most applicable thing about coming to a Binghamton Mets game is that the food is cheap, the seats are cheap, and it's fairly accessible. Also, a note of appreciation to the folks in the team store... they were delightful. :) TL;DR Probably not going to be high on my list for another visit, even if it is fairly easy to get to. Experience felt lacking, and staff weren't always the most attentive or prepared (looking at you, folks who help the Will Call attendant). Cheap tickets and concessions don't hurt though, if you're looking for something to do in/around Binghamton in the spring or summer. read more

Solid experience, nice clean stadium (it's nice have a trash collector making rounds during the game to keep the area clean), plenty of parking, ok food choices (although the hot dog vendor didn't know the type/brand of the foot long I had), pricing fair. They could use a second scoreboard, but the one thing is all the PA advertising though out the game-every single minute they could shill for a sponsor or paid advertiser they did. I know they need to cover costs, but dialing it back a bit would greatly improve the experience. The kiddie games are a great idea if you have little ones too! read more

When things can't get worst, after having a lawsuit with this stadium last year, I took my family to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies game tonight. Everyone knows there is a smoking section on 3rd base gate 4. I went out to have a cigarette and was told if I go out I was not allowed in. After speaking to the GM Richard I was told this is untrue and he went to talk to staff. 30 minutes after, I went to the smoking section to just get some air as I have mental health issues and don't do a lot of people. The staff at the same gate told me I was not allowed to enter and was told to f**** off. After seeing tons of people come in and out I was directly targeted due to my mental health and me being gay. This is a shame how upper management of the Mirabito Stadium treats it's customers. First lawsuit was a discrimation and now this. When will enough be enough? When will David who owns the stadium currently and now owned by Diamond Baseball Holdings step in and stop this discrimination. read more

What a great time I had! Start off, 4 dollar tickets for students, 8 dollars for regulars.... What a joke! I never did this when I went to school there. I wish I had. This is good, clean fun, and you are a true member of the community there. Everything is so close. There are seat numbers, but I believe you can just sit wherever you want. 1 dollar hot dogs. I believe they are Ballpark franks - a little porky and very delicious. I had 7. My friend had 5 plus a jumbo, but he was mad b/c i took off parts of my buns. He says he won b/c a jumbo is the equivalent of 3 dogs (yeah right). I don't care, I am happy with what I accomplished. I could have definitely done double digits - they are so easy! As far as local food, they have a Lupo's stand. Lupo's is a local spiedie shop. Spiedies are a regional dish of marinated chunks of chicken on a roll. They also sell buttered potatoes and corn on their own cobs. At the concession stand area, you can sit at tables right next to the field and chill out with your friends. This is good if you are a smoker or if you (like me) like to be close to the food stands and don't care as much about the game as much as just being there close to the grass. Lots of kids there, they have a popular games section. Some of the bigger kids can even partake in the radar gun baseball throwing competition, we competed against eachother. I can't believe I can only throw 10 mph faster than I could when I was 13. So what if I don't know players names? It's a great day at the ballpark, even if you don't like sports. and for 4-8 dollars??? You cannot beat it. To those kids who say there's nothing to do in Binghamton, here's a tip: start looking and say YES. read more

Stay far away from this stadium, the employees are RUDE, my child was harassed and verbally assaulted by a bald usher. Like that I drove 2 hours to go to a game here and my daughter gets harassed, very unprofessional. Then I got chicken tenders and they were RAW, completely pink in the middle. Went to a game on Tuesday, May 16. The stadium updates and new food vendors are a welcome touch, but there's nothing like the Rumble Ponies allowing fans to be treated poorly and ostracized: It happened to be "Prevention Night", which meant that a Broome County opioid prevention group was at the stadium. When a lady collecting signatures on a clipboard came around to our seats and offered me a sticker to sign some pledge/petition, I declined (I did not know how my signature would be used, if at all, and I am not against marijuana decriminalization/legalization). Instead of saying thanks anyway, or joking that I couldn't have a sticker, she loudly wondered "whether I used drugs" in front of other attendees. I'm a gainfully employed, clean cut, semi-respectable man, and was floored to be spoken to in an accusatory tone by someone the Rumble Ponies organization authorized to walk around and interact with fans. There is no excuse to make someone uncomfortable after they paid money to attend a game (even after they find out they won't be able to enjoy a beer with their stadium food because somehow, the legal consumption of alcohol had to be banned to appease this opioid group's stated concern of preventing illegal drug use). IF YOU WANT A QUALITY LIFE, DO NOT COME HERE! last year i drove 2 hours to come to this horrible place. not only was the game rained out, but the binghamton rumble ponies organization tried to kill me. i was served raw chicken tenders. and when i say raw, i mean completely pink, it looks like raw chicken that just came out of the fridge. when i ordered the chicken and fries, there were 3 tenders ready, and the teenager working the register said i would have to wait a few minutes for the last one in the order. i waited. and that was the raw one. i don't know who was working the fryer, but whoever it was sucks at their job because they obviously didn't temp the chicken. thankfully i broke into it and didn't eat it, but still, there are everlasting effects from this traumatic day. for one, i was diagnosed with ulcertive colitis, and have been suffering ever sense i was served this joke of a chicken tender. if you don't know what ulcertive colitis is, google it, it isn't pleasant whatsoever, and when i am suffering, i just remember that the binghamton rumble ponies ruined my life. now with uc, there's no cure, so i have to deal with this for the rest of my life. there is treatment that i have been doing, which involves me getting iv medicine for hours. i have been on this treatment for a while now, and my body is not responding to it, so my uc is still acting up. because of the uc, and the carefree mentality of the workers, i lost my job, have been in and out of the hospital, and suffer on a regular basis. i truly believe my life will never be the same because of the IDIOTS who served me the chicken. and let me tell you, i brought this to their attention, and they did nothing. it didn't even seem like they cared. all i got from this experience was a lemonade, and a lifetime of pain, suffering, and being miserable because there is no cure to the condition. also, after the season i called and talked to someone about the situation, and again they didn't care, or return my call like they said they would. in conclusion, if you are thinking about going to a binghamton rumble ponies game, i highly advise you to stay away from this stadium, and if you do make the dumb decision to go, please do not purchase anything from the concessions, unless you want a lifetime of pain and suffering. read more

I will always be a proponent of minor league sports. Its often a great and inexpensive way to enjoy a sport without getting gouged like at pro sporting events. Im sorry, CB Park, I love you but its no coincidence that many pro parks are sponsored by banks, as you need to take out another mortgage to finance a day at the Ballpark. I scored free tickets to see the Binghamton Mets, while visiting family out here so I cant really speak of ticket prices. Parking is easy , close and $3. Compare that to the $15 spent at a pro park. I was lucky enough to be here on BOGO Beer and soda night and I took advantage of a decent beer (Lebatts) at an already decent price ( $6 for a pint) and got 2 for my troubles. The food was decent here too. They had a grill set up and were making some tasty meats, most notably, a 1/2lb Burger. My benefactor told me to ask for the Mark Berghorn burger and when I did, the lovely lady sighed and added cheese, onions, peppers and a smiley face made out of A1 sauce. It was pretty great and rests among the best burgers ive eaten anywhere. The Minor league experience is an added joy because you are watching players hungry for the Big Leagues. You may see a pro playing a rehab game or a young phenom, honing his skills ( in this case, Mets top prospect Floyd Wheeler). There are assigned seats but you figure out pretty quickly that you can move around to better see whatever you want. I had a fantastic time and look forward to returning. The day that we went to a B-Mets game was COLD. I was not prepared for how cold it would be. Fortunately, the souvenir store has blankets for sale. Oddly enough, they were New York Yankee blankets. At a Mets affiliate. No complaints, since I'm a Yanks fan, but why? Anyway, seats were comfortable, cheap, and close to the field. The play was solid. There are lots of between-inning activities to entertain people. My only complaint other than temperature (which is obviously out of their hands), is that the hotdog I had was really, really nasty. It was a lukewarm, an odd grey-yellow color and mushy. I took one tiny bite and had to throw it out. Maybe the cold temperature had something to do with it, but I was not happy. Could have been an anomaly. My sister had a chicken finger platter and that was good. If I lived in the area, I would be a regular! read more

Enjoy the game with an ardent local set of fans. Tebow is a great athlete as well as each of his teammates. The management of the club is strong. Pricing is generally affordable. Another bonus is the lack of big-city affectations at the stadium. Went there on Spiedies night. The Rumble Pony mascot was taking pictures with the kids. The kids were allowed to run across the field at the end of the game toward their parents waiting at the other end. Plenty of good local-based kiosks for eating, refreshments, snacks, amenities, and coupons handed for Dunkin Donuts. All this and magnificent fireworks display at the end of evening games makes for a most memorable time spent ! read more

LET'S GO METS!!! i love going to b-mets games, i have a lot of great memories here from when i was growing up. i would usually go to a game on my birthday and one time i sneaked down to a seat by the mets dugout and got to high five a player after he hit a home run. at 10 years old i thought that was really cool and it meant a lot to me. I remember another time when i was in elementary school my baseball team got to go down to the field and meet the players and get autographs. there's a lot of community to this place, and i still witnessed that the other night when i went and a guy overheard me talking about something and ended up giving me a coupon he got from a previous game, and then spent the next hour talking to my friends and i, and another person had to leave the game early and he gave me an untouched beer that he still had left. there's lots of great people who come through here but unfortunately there's also the loudmouth college students. lately they have been ruining the games for me and i feel like they give the out of town team a bad impression of the Binghamton community. sure, there's cops walking around the games but they don't seem to do anything about it, which is a shame. the turnouts are another huge shame. we won the eastern league championship last year and it still isn't bring people to games!! i depresses me to say this but i honestly feel like this is the last year the binghamton mets will be in town. as for the food here, they have hot dogs for $1.75, which is a great deal, and this is the only place in binghamton that offers Dippin Dots, AKA the ice cream of the future!! and if you're not ready for the future then you can get a classic sundae served in a mini helmet, although i wish they had peanuts as a topping option instead of sprinkles. another thing they are missing is funnel cakes! i feel like they would be great at a ball game and they would probably sell really well. oh well, maybe the next team that plays here will serve them. they do have beer and wine though from local places, as well as 2 for 1 deals on select drafts on tuesdays and thursdays. and of course they have the binghamton staple, Lupos Spiedies. unfortunately, i ate some spiedies there the other day and i could taste propane in them. Hank Hill would be disgusted, it's supposed to be "taste the meat, NOT the heat"! the store leaves a little to be desired too. they have some cool stuff, but right now they don't have a good selection of t-shirts, it's mostly sweatshirts and hats, but i do gotta say i love the new hat i got there. the store can also be pretty pricey. also, i would advise against buying the DVD they have for sale there, it's very poorly put together. so all in all, i love this place, but at times it can be ruined by the presence of college students (like most of binghamton, really), and i would love to see the team stick around, so please, GO TO MORE GAMES!! Its truly saddening that my family had to miss 4 innings of the ball game to get hot dogs & a cold beer. We went to the July 3 ball game to experience a good game & fireworks. We intentionally didn't eat just so we could have hot dogs, peanuts & cold craft beer. The game was great & the fireworks were amazing. In the future I'm hesitant in going again because I do want it all...and by the way, several had the same disappointing experience!!!! read more

My family attended a game for my sons 14th birthday. As we are not from the area, before purchasing the tickets online, I did some research as to seating and read several reviews. I looked up photos of the stadium to get a better idea of where we'd like to sit. There were tons of seats available. Lo and behold the front row right behind home plate was open, as was most of the section. I thought that would be cool to be front row, so bought the tickets. Little did I know that there is barely any leg room at all. There is also a thick black cover over the top of the fence that is basically at eye level. My 10 year old daughter couldn't see at all and wanted to sit on my lap, which brought her knees in direct contact with the fence, which is the back stop. We were worried she'd get hurt if a ball came back and hit the fence. I went to the box office and requested a seat change for our party of 5. I was informed by a manager that we would have to pay more money to move seats. There were openings available, but they refused to allow us to switch seats w/o paying. I ended up paying just for me and my daughter as I felt it was a safety issue and the rest of my family stayed put. Imo very unacceptable treatment when there were plenty of open seats in which to move us. It will be a very long time before I ever return to this stadium. read more

Positives: 1) Tickets are cheap 2) Food is great and reasonable 3) Stadium is very fan friendly (You aren't harassed by staff and can do your own thing, within reason) 4) Great access pre and post game to get autographs Negatives: 1) $3 for parking 2) Stadium is over 20 years old. It lacks some of the modern amenities because due to the rail yard behind the outfield fences it can't be expanded. Plus the neighborhood where the stadium is, is rather questionable. read more
