I go to a couple RailRiders games per season. PNC Field is certainly an MiLB stadium that I enjoy visiting regular, and I enjoy watching my "Baby Yankees" coming up through the ranks. The stadium is easy to get to, parking is well-organized, and members of the staff are usually helpful and hospitable (though I have met some that could certainly additional training - not knowing where things are, how to scan SRO tickets correctly, etc). The park itself is laid out nicely and does have that comfortable "hometown" feel. Admittedly though, I was a bit surprised by the lack of locations where you can get actual food... as opposed to just snack items (more diversity in offerings would be nice). TL;DR Enjoyable day at the park, and I'll continue to drive up for a couple games during the course of the season.

Solid place to catch a game somewhat locally. Probably helps that I'm a Yankees fan, but regardless you can't find a bad seat in this place and the kids always have a great time. Solid options for food and drinks and painless in/out of the parking lots and stadium. Have been to a good half dozen games here and will return without hesitation.

While it's only the 2nd AAA minor league ballpark I've been to, it ranks up there with my prior AAA ballpark experience at Coca Cola Park in Allentown in terms of quality. The location of the ballpark on Montage Mountain is perfect for a nice summer breeze. There is ample parking ($8 charge) in the lots adjacent to the stadium, but arrive early as the roads leading to the stadium do get pretty backed up, with the local Moosic police department directing traffic off the main road before and after games. There was a nice mix of Yankees and Mets fans in attendance for a match up against the Syracuse Mets (and a lone Red Sox fan which seemed a bit lost/out of place...lol). PNC Field is modern and welcoming, with nice open concourse areas, plenty of concession stands, multiple kids play areas, a picnic table area in left field, and some lawn seating beyond the outfield. Both the team store and concession stands were overpriced, but expectedly in-line with prices found at other minor league ballparks. Some concession stands do offer regionally local food, including Philadelphia area favorite Chickies & Pete's, and their crab fries. A few concession stands had no lines, while others like the Electric City Grill seemed understaffed, with extremely slow-moving lines. The team store I felt was a bit small and cramped, with limited shirt selection and lack of any budget-friendly merchandise. Staff I encountered throughout the stadium was friendly and engaging, and the promotional team did a great job keeping fans entertained between innings. Overall, I'd rate PNC Field a 4.5/5 minor league ballpark experience, and I could see myself catching multiple games a year if I lived locally. I'd recommend a visit to PNC Field if you're in the Scranton area and wanting to take in a baseball game.

The weather cleared up and we got to see the game. The stadium seems pretty clean Considering the crowd. Even so with the bathrooms. Maybe you should come and take your kids since your cost is going to be much cheaper than a major league game. Ticket prices average $20 apiece for adults, less for children and maybe free for certain kids under age. A typical baseball atmosphere, quite enjoyable. We got free parking, but there is a $5 fee to park. My friend is a member of a charity and we got perks.

Elmira Pioneers Baseball - Box seats close to the field

This is one of the coolest baseball fields outside of a major league stadium I've ever been to…read more I watched the Newark Pilots take on the Elmira Pioneers and my son was here playing for the Pilots. The box seats were inexpensive for the game and that put me closer to the action on the field. I met the team owner while I was buying a hotdog and hamburger and she was very friendly. I can see why the environment was so fun. There is not a lot to do in Elmira, but if there is a game, I highly recommend you to go!

Play ball, Elmira! It's easy to see that the Pioneers are a big draw on summer nights. What's nice…read moreto see is that the experience is similar to how the team must have been during Elmira's single-A days, and how the team is still a priority for Elmira. Previously a short season single-A team, the Pioneers are currently a summer collegiate baseball league. (Many of the teams in the college league are former pro teams.) Dunn Field is the home of the team, and still has some signs of being a former professional team. The stadium is well maintained, and there is plenty of activity. When I was there, the team had a baseball card promotion, the idea being that your current Pioneers might be tomorrow's superstars. Truthfully, you never know, but the Pioneers aren't in a league full of future superstars, and it can show during the game itself. The experience is similar to what you'd see at a minor league game, just on a smaller level. When I was there, you had live music in one corner, the baseball card promotion in another, and your usual between innings entertainment, featuring the Pioneers mascot and kid friendly activities. The game itself wasn't too exciting, but I also wasn't paying a ton of attention. It's a decent ballgame for a night, but keep in mind that although single-A and collegiate ball are similar, there's definitely a difference in quality. Out of all the collegiate teams I've seen, Elmira has the most potential to one day become a single-A team once again, though I wouldn't count on it. Going to a Pioneers game is a nice experience, but younger kids will appreciate it more than older kids. It's nice to see the community turn out to support the ballplayers of tomorrow.

This has to be one of the coolest experiences we've ever had! Bowman Field only seats about 2,400 people, and tickets to the MLB Classic are extremely limited -- reserved mostly for Little League players (child plus two additional tickets per player), their families, media, and volunteers. That means very few tickets are available to the public, so being able to attend truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. They had shuttle buses running from several areas in Williamsport, taking fans directly to the stadium. From the outside, Bowman Field looks tiny compared to most MLB stadiums, but that's part of its charm. We were lucky enough to be seated in the deck area, just to the right of first base, with a perfect view of the field. The deck is open seating and first come, first serve -- but we managed to snag seats right up front! There's no alcohol on site, but the food options were pretty good. I did have a small scare with some wasps trying to eat my funnel cake fries, but otherwise, it was a great experience. When I say the stadium is small -- it's tiny. You're so close to the players, and there's even a walkway right above where we were sitting where you can see them coming in and out. A few kids near us were diving over tables trying to catch foul balls -- it was hilarious and scary to watch. At one point, Lindor threw a ball right to us and YES, we caught it and gave it to our kids! We actually caught a few balls throughout the game and shared them with the other children around us. Overall, it was such a fun, unique, and once-in-a-lifetime experience -- something we'll remember forever.

It's small,…read moreand that fact that the MLB plays here once a year during the Little League World Series makes this a tiny ~2500 person park that would be SO cool to see a MLB team play at. The beer selection is awful. Even for a ballpark. Most have at least one or two offerings that aren't from the big three. But not here. Not even Yuenlueng!? WTH? Seats are fine, though the covered bleacher seats are too short and plastic isn't that great for a full inning game. The pricing to see the Crosscutters MiLB team is great at under $10 for every seat in the place. Employees were friendly enough. The guys walking around (or one guy specifically) walking around selling beers was SO annoying (and in such a small ballpark you see/hear him always) that I left early. Stop yelling, no one cares, and literally everyone ignored him yet he was undeterred. Though he should have been. So go see a MLB game here if you can score a ticket. And aside from the historical significance of it being the second oldest MiLB ballpark in the U.S. I don't think it's anything that great.
