I am a top reviewer on Google maps. I think some of the negative reviews are from people who lost their cases to Binh Bui, so they take revenge by posting negative reviews. Attorney Bui is excellent.  In 5 mins he outlined strategies for me to sue a real estate company in California instead of Nevada.  He also cleverly suggested that my daughter file a second lawsuit as she too has a legitimate grievance as well against the real estate company. I was having a problem with a red line that was moved by a neighbor which limited my access to my property , I found out that the city had a work order to correct the red line that was moved but they were stalling to correct it , I was told Carl Hancock was the person that could get this fixed . I explained the entire thing I had been dealing with the city called me names and then made up lies , then the city sent off duty San Diego police officer to threaten me and try to intimidate me then the officer sent me a threatening email and called me names ! Carl told me he would send the mayor , the city streets dept. and the cheif of police a letter to resolve this problem , months went by like six months after I paid Carl I would call he would say he has to do a process I would say did you send the letter to all three entities you said you were ? Carl kept telling me I need to be patient t, then Carl told me the officer had retired "which was and is still a flat out lie " he said nobody got hurt I need to forget about the whole thing then he told me he couldn't help me because he was retiring ! this was also a flat out lie this was a couple years ago Carl has not retired he is still in business practicing Law . He then asked me what bars I hang out at ? I am referring to bars like in taverns not the bar of law . I told Carl I don't hang out at bars then I find out he hangs out at bars and has a drinking problem . I feel I had a good case against the city but the city told him to go away . He should have his license to practice law removed , I asked Carl to refund the money I paid him because he failed to represent me he refused to refund my money . I needed help with my rental situation. An assistant, Kaye, contact me and tried to set up a time for me to speak to the attorney, Carl Hancock. The time he was available didn't work for me because the landlord was getting demanding and I knew there'd be hell to pay if I didn't make a decision within a few hours. So, Kaye and Carol squeezed me in during lunch time. Carl said he was at the park while he was talking to me. Anyway, the call lasted just under twenty minutes. Carl told me all my rights and the landlord's legal obligations. And the landlord wound up doing everything Carl said he would do! Carl taught me the term "fraud in the inducement of a contract". In short, I got out of a really sticky situation thanks to Carl. And the landlord gave me back the money he owed me. I speak for myself and my case and there was alot of dishonesty,and a situation of blackmailing me at one point to let him take the first offer so we wouldn't go to trial . First told me my case was great then the figures dropped and dropped and years drawn out till he finalized got me to take the smallest mistake ridiculous offer by telling me that was the best etc etc . That's not even 1/4 of the flaws and dishonesty in this case . As I've never written a review outta anger or lies the truth always told . a waste of time and a pathological liar. I was referred to him. I wish if the people who referred me to him had told me that they did not know him personally and just found him on line and they were trying to help me since they were out of area. I wish if I had checked with the state bar prior. He told me that he sued over 200 landlord last year. according to the state bar it's a lie. this man had me spend so much money to prepare evidence and send to him. I spent day in triple degree weather going above and beyond because I know I have a legitimate case. I have been told by several attorneys who saw the same things that I sent him but are not in the area. because he is incompetent, a liar and unprofessional, after almost two months of sending him valuable and raw information that even include me hiring inspector and paid for report, he turned around and told me that he cannot help me. he saw the information /pictures from the beginning and told me what else to send over to him. anyone in their right mind will see and know that he is a looser and a liar. And he was just playing games with me. I am not surprise! . in many ways and for many reasons this is what I expect from some of them. even when you give the benefit of the doubt. Horrible Lawyer. Did no work on my case and pretended for months he was wrapping it up. Ended up homeless and getting r4ped hospitalized multiple times due to his negligence. He did not care about the case now I have to become a stripper to afford to sue him. Everything he offered me was in favor of my rich landlord. Mr. Bui is a brilliant and honest attorney regarding issues with landlords. I was unfortunately taken advantage of by a slum lord for many years who made me severely ill due to refusal to fix repeated flooding issues, but he was kind enough to explain the laws to me and how to protect myself in the future. Binh was extremely helpful letting me know if there was any legal recourse I had against a previous landlord TWICE! Once for threatening retaliatory actions against myself for posting a negative (although 100% truthful) Yelp review about them. The previous time was when they were doing a ton of harassing actions towards myself & over 10 other tenants of the building. He was one of only a couple attorneys that responded to my request for advice & information on my situation. Although I do not have a viable case against that slumlord, it was reassuring to get actual advice on what my options were from an attorney.
