I have been receiving treatment from Dr. Lora for about 2 months. I came to her desperate for relief from chronic pain in my neck, back and my entire right arm (shoulder down). She took her time to look through all of my previous medical history from worker comp, pain mgt, PT, MT, Acupuncture and reviewed all my MRIs (which I appreciated bc it was a lot). I first heard of New Beginnings (the OG Imperial Beach location) from my good friend and tattoo artist Laura Becker, when we were talking about having issues with our baby sleeping. She recommended I go talk to Lora (Urig) at her practice, so I did. At first I thought taking babies to a chiropractor is some crazy white people mess, but after Lora talked us through and informed us about all the benefits, we went ahead and handed her our 2-month old baby and SNAP, CRACKLE, and POP! I thought she broke my kid!!!! But Man!!! That was the best decision we have ever made for our kids. I say kids because at 2 weeks old, yes 2 weeks old, we took my daughter and had her aligned as well. Here's another thing: At one of our kids check-up they mentioned to us that his neck was not turning all the way to the right without some resistance, so they suggested one of those helmets... Let me get this right? So my son can't turn his head to the right all the way, and the answer is a helmet? No joke, we took our son to Lora and she checked him out, and yes she confirmed that his neck was a little resistant. So she began treatment and only after one visit his rotation improved 80%; and by the third treatment, he was healed! Lora just might get canonized by the Catholic Church, cuz she's a saint in our eyes. I shit you not people! My babies sleep like babies!!! Yes it took some parenting practices, but after every visit with Lora our babies get home and crash out for 3-4 hours! Lora doesn't just adjust babies, she adjusts grown-ups too. The type of work I do is strenuous on my lower back and I wear a bunch of gear on my chest and waist. I suffered a 4mm protrusion in my L5-S1 at work.
