Poor service and high price, what else do you need to know? Needing a windshield replacement, II emailed the address on their home page, and a week later, no response. So I phoned, got voice mail, left a message, a week later, no response. Called again and the phone was answered "Hello?", like a private home. I asked if it was a glass shop and annoyed person said "yes", as if I should know that with a "hello" answer. Asked why no response to my messages and she said "well, what email did you use?" Who knows, I don't remember something like that for two weeks, it's on their HOME PAGE. She says "Oh, the website is out of date", OK, so fix that, maybe. Then the phone quote to come in to the shop was $100 more than Safelite doing it in the driveway. Business needs a caring manager who wants to grow revenue. read more

Yesterday I found that someone decided to break my rear window hatch glass in my Yukon Denali XL. Today I brought it to Bink's Auto Glass in Stamford. The receptionist was professional and went over the details with me. The shop did an awesome job. And I was surprised to get a call after only a few hours that the vehicle is ready for pickup. My truck is back to normal. They even vacuumed out the broken glass inside the truck for me. Thank you for a job well done. read more

After a freakish incident when both my rear windshield AND my mother's rear windshield were shot out by roving bands of uppity teenagers, someone from Bink's came to my mother's house and drove one of the cars back to the shop for us (she drove the other one). And, both windshields were replaced by the afternoon. The whole thing was about as painless as such a thing can be. read more

after coming out to measure and assess a broken window, they said they'd get right back to me with an estimate. i called 8 times over a two month period (kevin) and never once received a return phone call, no message. on the few occassions when he actually picked up his phone, he had no excuse beyond 'i'll call you tomorrow'. when i asked if i could speak with the owner, i was told no, that i should speak with kevin! on the basis of this, i'd say they are terribly unreliable....be careful and realize that you are taking chances. it's been over two months and my job is still not complete. read more
