Update 1/27/23: They handled it very well. It took a couple trips to the shop - first to show them the issue, then to get it painted. The job was done within 24 hours and it looks great. They even vacuumed and washed the car again. Update 1/7/23: I wrote the below after returning home with the car yesterday. Today I noticed that the new piece they installed does not match the color of the car! It's close but noticeably different. I've alerted the shop; will post again after I see how they handle this. I'm hoping they can do it without taking the car for days again... Original 1/6/23: Highly recommended. I needed a fairly minor repair through insurance. They completed the work quickly and well. They also popped out a little dent in another panel (not part of the insurance estimate), vacuumed the car seats and floor mats, and washed the car. They did a good job on repairing my back bumper but my car was left outdoors in March for 3 weeks without the tail lights on the car and moisture went in it and now my headliner is starting to come down. I was told by Anthony that it wasn't from moisture it is from wear and tear. Its funny how my car didn't have this problem before it was repaired. He tried to say if moisture got into the car it would be confined to the trunk only. NOT TRUE. The insurance was going to repair it but he won't admit it came from being left out in the cold rainy weather. So if you have your car repaired at this auto body make sure they keep it indoors when they take it apart. I will never use them again. read more

They've had my car for over a month and a half requesting about $11,000+ worth from my insurance company for a rear and front bumper repaint, and a steering column replacement come to find out these guys are the biggest crooks in Westchester save yourself the trouble the hassle and go anywhere else except here. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. This week, my property inside of my vehicle was stolen while at this shop for repairs. I found the entire inside of my car completely filthy when I picked it up. The parts that were replaced were left in my trunk as if it was a garbage!! When I spoke to Daniel (The person whom accepted the car and I received my car back after repairs) the first thing I asked was "do they keep the cars locked when they are unattended" and he informed me "ABSOLUTELY at all times". I said afterwards, who was in my vehicle? He replied "only the workers". I mentioned, if that is the case, they must have taken them or your workers simply left my car opened unattended. He thereafter immediately blamed me saying it was my fault, and I must have forgotten and not left these items in the vehicle. No apology, no sense of seeming bothered by this happening. I explained, please do not label me to be that crazy customer as I would not be mentioning this if I was not 100 percent sure I left them in my vehicle at the time of drop off. I assured him the conversation was had with my fiancé about skepticism of leaving these items in the vehicle right at the dropping of my vehicle. I work in customer service myself so I thoroughly can understand dealing with irrational customers who can come off crazy, this was not the case. I left items in my vehicle, trusting them with the idea I'm spending 5+ thousand dollars in repairs they will not want to lose my business and steal my stuff. I asked if a manager would contact me as I was upset and Daniel said a manager "Anthony" would. No call, nothing from any manager but 2 days later Daniel calls me back once again NO apology, just to tell me that he trusts his workers and the car was locked. As previous reviews mention this place holds zero accountability and surely will blame YOU for everything they do wrong. This was referred to me by my insurance company, and the convenience of having a rental car waiting for me at the shop drew me in. They've done everything from my Lincoln Mark VII to my BMW 750iL, Mercedes CLS550, and Mercedes S550 and their workmanship always looked OEM. Fantastic experience. I had water in the cargo hold of my Honda Odyssey (a well known and documented problem that Honda refuses to do anything about and that my mechanic was unable to address) so I brought it by Fairway. Joe noted that they had done body work on the car 3.5 years prior and even though the water incursion was not necessarily related to their work, he offered on the spot to find the source of the incursion, fix it and replace the carpet AT NO COST! Fairway even picked up the cost of my car rental for the day. That's the kind of service that will keep us coming back every time. Additionally, my spouse brought his BMW for a dinged up bumper, and Joe recommended waiting until after winter since the snow/ice could mess up the new bumper. Be sure to think twice before leaving your car at this establishment. Apparently, they're okay with their workers stealing your car's parts, replacing it with a similar part and trying to make you out to be the crazy customer when you attempt have a civil conversation about it. No double checking cameras or speaking to employees, just flat out refusing to verify any information to the contrary, that there's been a mistake or anything else. I tried them based on a satisfied friend's recommendation. They had major work done to most of one side of their Volvo, and when they got the car back, it was not only done correctly, but the inside of the car didn't reek of body shop! Same result for me. Despite my job being far less involved, they not only did the work very well, but they did a very thorough detailing of the entire vehicle, including restoring my headlight lenses which were faded. They even fixed my hood release at my request, and at no extra charge. Chris and Joe were very professional to deal with. The car was ready when they said it would be. I brought it in at the end of the day this past Monday, and got it mid-day on Friday. They're affiliated with GEICO and one of their "Auto Repair Xpress" approved shops, which means it's one-stop shopping for inspection, estimate, repair, and also discounted rentals through Enterprise if you need temp wheels. Highly recommend based on my freinds' and my experiences; will be bringing my car back for some small rust spots that I don't want to see spreading. read more

towed my vehicle & I left my keys on the train. made a report they towed it on Friday and I've been calling them since then left many messages they haven't returned my calls. then they want to charge a ridiculous amount to release the car when they cannot even return a simple call my car has been there from friday til now. My car was hit in the Trader Joe's parking lot & thankfully an honest person stuck around to let me know so we went through her insurance company, Geico. The rental car was ready for me- the Enterprise personnel are on site & they were super helpful & professional, as well. The workmanship was excellent, but I was told my car would be fixed in 2-4 days. I was able to drive, but only during the day, because the headlight was broken, and it required additional work. I was told to bring it in the day the parts would be available, which I did, but the parts did not arrive for 4 more days, requiring me to rent a car (I did not need) for an additional 6 days! The shop works with Enterprise, which is adjacent to their facility, so it was very convenient, but it cost me an additional 6 days for the car rental (no fault of Enterprise). Since the additional rental charge was the fault of Fairway, some form of accommodation could have been made to show good faith and customer service. read more

I have used them twice now. Once for my 4 week old SUV that was rear ended and Geico paid for the repair and once just recently for a repair that I paid for out of pocket. Each time the work has been stellar! Bjorn has my utmost confidence. The paint work is perfect, the lines are straight and the attention to detail is unrivaled. They accommodated some of my special requests and also were able to finish early so I didn't have to pay for the rental car another day. Fairway Auto Body is the best body shop I have ever had to do business with. they were recommended to me by Geico and they are a Geico authorized shop. The entire process was amazing. Made an appointment with Geico, they appraised the damage, Enterprise rental picked me up with a rental while my car was being fixed. I was told how long it would take to fix my car and it was finished when they said it would be. My car looked amazing, it looked brand new, just like I drove it out of the showroom. Fairway had some good and bad points in my opinion. The setup with Geico express was smooth and simple. The adjuster and the car rental from Enterprise were waiting for me, no wasted time in my busy schedule. There were frequent communications as to the status of my repairs. However there were some issues I was not happy with: 1) As I started my car to drive home, I noticed the TPS sensor was lit. Getting home I checked the tire pressure and the right front tire had only 19 lbs pressure in it! I certainly did not drop it in that condition. 2) My radio now barely works and it was fine when I dropped it off. I believe they have dis-connected the antenna wire and I will have to pay my dealer to get it fixed. Not good! 3) There were some dings in the back bumper which I thought would be touched up but were not. I did so myself. 4) My front license plate surround got broken and was not replaced, I bought one and replaced it.. In fairness item 3 & 4 may have been an insurance thing, not being covered., but items 1 & 2 certainly left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

Bjorn took care of my 2 day old car with 16 miles. He treated it like a baby. I didn't finish the paperwork with Geico and he put one of his men on the car to take care of the body work. Needless to say I picked up the car on the third day. The body work/paint job is perfect. He made me a believer. I would love to rate it 10s. I've had four great experiences with them: 1.When my car got rear ended on the highway, Geico led me to Fairway. These guys did an amazing job to make it look just like new. They're Geico certified or authorized or somehow backed by Geico, which tells you they're not some fly-by-night 2. I brought my other car just to get an estimate to fix an ugly scrape on the bumper and a long scratch along the side of the car. The boss said to give them a second and wait inside. After 10 - 15 minutes, the guy came in and said I was all set. They buffed out the scratch on the body and hid the scratch on the bumper with paint (I guess it was paint, all I know is you can't see it) - ON THE HOUSE! 3. I went back again a year later with what my mechanic thought was body noise from that accident. The boss there said it wasn't the body and asked the mechanic next door to take a ride with him! He diagnosed the problem as something mechanical that my guy completely missed. Took it back to my mechanic and turns out they were right. Most people would give me the "nope, not my problem, go talk to your mechanic" but these guys gave me the solution - at no cost. 4. This is not a big whoop, but demonstrates how they treated me like a human being - something that any local knows doesn't always happen in establishments in this area. My poor elderly dad left his windows open during a big rainstorm, got inches of water in the car and then the resulting mold. I asked them for a good detailer to get the mold out. They listened to the problem, and suggested I talk with the insurance company - something that didn't cross my mind as no accident had taken place. Again, not a big deal, but they took the time to listen to an unrelated problem and offer an expert solution. The reason I'm posting now? I just looked up their number b/c my visor holder broke this AM. I saw that one negative review and don't want all my neighbors to miss out on a place that's been so good to me because of that one review. These guys are great! I'm very familiar with auto body work. I grew up in a racing family in the South, and with a substantial garage, and we restored a lot of cars. I've done a lot of body work myself over the years. Auto body shops have kind of a sketchy reputation generally, but this shop is tremendous. I received wonderful service here- they made it incredibly easy to get my car fixed and did a great job- it looks just like it did when I bought it. When the fixed my new Subaru, the paint formulation that was supplied by the manufacture was not an exact match. I didnt notice, but they did. I brought my BMW to have serviced here through Geico. It turned out to be a big mistake. They have no idea how to repair BMW's. They subcontracted out work it to a service station and then subcontracted it out to BMW after a month because they could and would not fix the rack. They have no idea how to repair BMW's.
