The actual hospital is nice, and their menu of room service offerings was pretty solid for a hospital. In terms of service I'd say it was a bit inconsistent. My daughter and I live out of my car which is sitting in a gas station parking lot and can get towed any time. I am a disabled veteran name, Tuyet Kim Mathis. I told the social worker and doctor the truth and all it got me is a diagnosis that will not do me nor my daughter any good in the future. Can someone please get us release? This is a waste of government and workers time and money. They held my daughter down and sedated her for no reason. We are trying to look for our family for months and still haven't found them. My other daughter, Kimberly Ann Mathis aka Grey, aka Hudson Mathis has been missing for months. Tiffany and I are trying really hard to find her but we are now stuck in this facility. They do not have respect for veterans or as a parent. I just wanted to talk to my daughter to calm her down but they wouldn't let me sayjng I'm a patient here. I do not care, Tiffany is my daughter and I have a right to see how she is doing without you nurses holding her down and medicated her to the point where she is sleeping for hours on end. How much of that sedated meds was she given? Can someone please release her and myself. They are separating us this morning so I would or could not know where she will be. Please help release my daughter, she is a National Guard on ground surveillance soldier. She can not be placed in a mental hold one ward. She has to look for her sister and her dad for us to fly home. She is probably considered Missing In Action by now due to this. Please release us and let my daughter and I continue to find our family. I do not recommend this place if you get an M1 Hold.

I had been struggling with mold toxicity along with a host of other symptoms and felt truly stuck, but he completely changed that for me. From the very beginning, he listened so well and really took the time to hear my whole story. Prior, I had seen my PCP, an allergist, and had countless visits to urgent care where they all could not find a cause for what I was experiencing, recommending I address "anxiety." On the other hand, NP Yu explained everything in a way I could actually understand, breaking down everything and helping me see the bigger picture of what was going on in my body. He identified the right testing, uncovered clear biological markers, and built a comprehensive plan to address the root issues. For the first time, I felt like I wasn't just being treated for symptoms, I was actually being cared for as a whole person. Because of his guidance, I've experienced dramatic improvements that I never thought were possible, and also genuinely learned so much. What really sets him apart is not just his knowledge, but the way he genuinely cares. I left every appointment feeling heard, understood, hopeful, and supported. If you're on the fence about functional medicine like I once was, I can honestly say NP Yu is the person who can help open that door for you. He's made such a difference in my life, and I'm truly grateful.

They miss spelled my name on an order and it took so many calls and had to call the hr office, since no one was helping me. I left UcHealth Anchutz because of the same lack of basic customer service. I plan to work with my ent for my sleep treatment. The hospital itself is nice--just be prepared, it stays chilly all day. But I will say, once enough patients comment about the cold, the heat definitely kicks in! Lol. Checking in can be confusing. Even if you check in downstairs in either building, you still have to check in again at your respected clinic. Honestly, that feels like a waste of patients' time, especially when you already arrive 30-45 minutes early. It's not nice to the elderly either as it causes confusion. My appointments have gone well, though. Waiting between appointments isn't the most enjoyable unless you're patient or good at passing the time. All of the providers I've seen have listened and been very respectful. Dr. Downey in Pulmonary and Dr. Wienberger in Cardiology are excellent doctors. I didn't get to meet Dr. Balkissoon, who was my originally assigned pulmonary doctor--sigh. I've known Dr. Downey for over 15 years; he's a great doctor, and he rarely accepts out-of-state cases which was a treat to work with him again. Now that there are two buildings, it would really help patients if the schedule clearly listed either the "Smith Building" or the "Main Adult Clinic Building." They can abbreviate the buildings if possible on the schedule. Some of my appointments and procedures have been moved up, while others remained at the same time, but overall my experience--15 years later--has continued to be positive and meaningful. Best wishes to everyone who comes to this wonderful research hospital. I hope you receive the answers and understanding you need for a better quality of life. Happy Yelping!

It was like I didn't have two small children at home draining my energy everyday, like I hadn't aged a minute since getting my first botox treatment, all while still feeling like myself. Her approach to injectables is to keep you looking natural, to never look overdone and to walk away feeling more confidant. She recently took over some space on the adorable Pearl St. near Wash Park and it's a total representation of her and not like any other medical centers - everything from Beyonce to Lizzo playing as you get injected and lots of laughing with Theresa in between. You need to go see Theresa if you want to naturally enhance what your mama already gave you, are considering botox/filler and if you want to be in the care of someone who wants to make you shine inside and out. She is a true artist.

This review concerns the Spine Center. I had an extensive and rather experimental cervical…read moresurgery. This technically went well, but it created a cascade of new problems down my spine. When the problems appeared, the surgeon had no interest in this appearing on my records, refused to order additional scans, and had no follow up addressing these serious concerns. He provided NO clinical notes about the appointments. Lower level doctors were not willing to do anything that would contradict the surgeon, including ordering the scans. I had to go outside the system to get an MRI that clearly showed this cascade of spinal and shoulder problems caused by the surgery. I am still in limbo and will leave UC Health. By the way, it took me a year to get this surgery scheduled because they contract out the schedulers, who would not return calls. Then the surgeon cancelled twice. The patient care is atrocious at Spine. Similarly, I visited with a shoulder specialist, also in Spine, who had me get an MRI which showed significant issues (torn rotator cuff areas, bursitis, etc.), but she refused to schedule a follow up to explain these MRI results. Folks, I get my information from the radiologists here and from the PAs, not the doctors. The assistants are the ones who write the reports and notes, not the doctors (they're named), if you get reports at all. Those who aren't surgeons (or upper level in their academic departments) are much much more helpful. The whole thing has been a nightmare. Don't believe the hype. Unless you're a high level athlete or other famous person, you can do better. And one more thing: it took me a year and a half to be able to see my primary doctor at UC Health, after having no problems for years. There must be a serious staffing shortage across most departments.
