I had an appointment for 12:30 for an initial appointment, arrived 15 minutes early, and it's currently fifteen minutes from 5pm and I still haven't even been for a PHYSICAL to even donate. They're taking people out of order and taking 30+ minutes to do a single physical. What's the point in even having an appointment if I'm going to be here for 4+ hours? Barely even worth it at this point. I doubt I'll even be able to donate today because I haven't had a full meal since 10am. Ridiculous set up and needs to be addressed. People have lives and that's why they make appointments. Edit 6/5: After waiting for nearly six hours two days ago to not even donate (just to get a physical so that I could), I can back for an actual donation appointment and then was told I needed to see the nurse again. The nurses from the first time failed to tell me that I needed to bring medical records in, probably because their chart said I was fine but then returning I'm informed I need to bring medical records in. (Records from when I was a young teen and don't have copies of from a practitioner upstate.) Would have been nice to be informed of this properly the first time I was there so I didn't waste my time. Horrible experience here. I've been here two other times this is my third. I got forgotten about multiple times as did other people. My appointment was at 9:45 and after being told finally to go to the blue section Have my plasma done they then tell me certain things aren't released and they have to sit there and wait longer then they tell me they missed another part of the physical. I mean what a joke at this point it was over four hours Since I had eaten, and they couldn't even give me a straight answer as to whether or not it was safe for me to continue with the process. I told them they were extremely unprofessional which it was, however, the person who I told it was unprofessional, was being the most professional out of all of them so I do apologize, and I hope she knows I meant the whole experience. People get anxiety waiting for this stuff and it sent mine over the edge read more

Having taken the time to apply online, make an appointment and arrive early (October 18, 2025), I was told my 1:30 appointment would be an hour late... I am patient. Very. After initial check in and screening (BP, finger prick, height, weight, etc.), I was sent to a kiosk monitor that consistently seized up, claiming I had no appointment and to get an employee... good luck there! 20-minutes later the kiosk worked. One disgruntled client was aggressively calling out one of the technicians as having a horrible attitude and losing his paperwork. This same technician informed several clients and I that we would not be seen and would have to return another day. 2-1/2 hours of observation and being subjected to incompetency and disregard for clients compels me to submit this poor review. What a complete and total waste of time (on my part) and what a waste of salary (on the part of the extremely petite Asian technician) for her horrid work ethic. read more

Absolutely the worst place ever. Not professional at all and cleaning tactics aren't up to MY personal standard but I'm no germaphobe so take what you want from that. Horrible care, spoke to rude by the little short child like troll they have doing physicals. Management staff doesn't care. Never will I ever recommend this place. Especially when the people who work there are too worried about work gossip, fake hair and eyelashes . Such a waste of my fucking time. And they use the same rag in between patients to wipe down the vital desk, they make you (the patient) hold the oral thermometer and they don't even sanitize that between patients and they keep the same gloves on. They do a finger prick, and squeeze your finger for a sample all gloves should be changed in between at least finger sticks. I would put 0 if I could I am never coming back here, staff are usually friendly, no complaints there, however they do not know how to take there time and it clearly affects there work, I've donated 5 times so far with no issues however upon going in today this lady with pink dyed hair was doing my arm and she seemed to be in a major rush and she stuck the needle in my arm extremely violently causing a lot of pain then she proceeds to move it around and touch it with a lot of pressure causing even more pain and in a big guy I can handle a decent amount of pain but this was unlike any experience I've had, an actual embarrassment to myself due to how much pain I was in then she proceeded to not take out the needle and just waited for another staff to try and fix her mistake and SHE MADE IT WORSE legit sitting in the chair squirming with pain eventually it was so unbearable I told them to take it out and the doctor was insisting I try the other arm but after that I will no longer be letting them near my arm read more

I had an appointment for my first visit. I brought my California drivers license. I bought my taxes showing my Social Security number and they would not see me because I did not physically have a card. I am 78 years old and I don't know where that card is, they refused to see me and sent me away. Told me to get Social Security card which I did that day at the Modesto office. I could not get an appointment for a month. My appointment will be a week from tomorrow if they allow me to donate a lot of waiting so you can't plan on anything. read more

They take your plasma a couple times then give you the run around about needing to "process labs" so the promotion dates pass and they can pay you $25 for your plasma instead of $110. I felt ignored or forgotten. I was told the process the first visit would be about 2-3 hours. I left after waiting over 4.5 hours. It seemed like a lot of people were having reactions to the clotting drug. One lady left by ambulance. I decided to leave without donating ( feels odd saying donating when you're getting paid) I probably won't go back to this business because of how long they made me wait and the lack of acknowledgment.... I wasn't sure if they even had me on the list because people would come in after I was checked in and they would be seen by the nurse for the physical before me??? Seemed clean, but very unorganized and the employees/techs were visibly annoyed at being there at work? Gave me the unpleasant work environment. The service is great I have given it four stars. Reason is that I like most of the staff. Most of them are great at offering a great quality of care while being attended to. There are a few that may sour this expirience and for the most part is cuz they new and/or feel nervous being so close to people (i have seen people act like this before) so they come off as conceited or annoyed they just lack people skills. But we are here to donate not make friends. Finally, my advise to you so they type if care you get is acceptable to both parties and the recompense is worth it. First if you are obese/fat then your veins are hard to get. Second if you have small or hidden veins third you dont drink enough water or eat healthy meals (fast food is no good as it will clogg the machines with fat) thats what comes to mind for me if any of these are you then dont bother! I mean you can come and spend three hours to determine that. Trust me they will try to help you but you have seen the photos of Hematomas on ppl arm. read more

I have donated plasma with this facility over 32 times. Most of the donations are pretty straight forward. However, today was a different scenario. I had been ineligible last week due to an antibiotic. The rn that I saw here 2 weeks ago told me to wait 48 hours after the last time I took my antibiotic, and to wait 7 days after my last symptom. Today marked 9 days symptom free, and 8 days free from my antibiotic. The computer told me to consult with an rn today before my donation, so I waited in line. Some people in this line had been here for over 2 hours. There were only 2 rn's, and they were not calling names in any particular order. When they called my name, I walked in, and told them how long it has been since my last symptom, and how long it has been since my last antibiotic. Pretty straightforward. After saying this, I sniffled, very lightly, just once. This caught the nurses attention, who then asked if I have seasonal allergies. To which I replied "I've always had seasonal allergies. It's nothing serious." She replied "You can't donate with seasonal allergies." I said that they have never impacted my donation qualification in the past. She responded with "I'm not going to go back and forth with you." I replied by saying that I was not trying to argue or be confrontational, and that I was simply trying to get an explanation as to why I would suddenly be ineligible. She responded with "Do you want to speak to a manager" and I said yes. The manager came in shortly after, and said that she wasn't able to change the decision made by the rn. I said that is fine. I wasn't trying to have the decision altered, I was simply trying to get clarification as to what specifically is disqualifying me. She said she couldn't help me, and that I'd just have to come in another time. I said I wasn't planning on coming back due to the disrespect given by the rn, and her assuming my physical health, contrary to what I stated regarding my physical health. For a nurse to disregard a patients word, and to make assumptions regarding their physical health is extremely unprofessional. I myself have gone to nursing school, and know the specific parameters involving nursing, and the professionalism that you are typically obligated to carry. In this instance, there was no professionalism. She treated me with disrespect, and assumed I was incapable of judging my own symptoms. As I walked out, I just asked that she tell her rn how disrespected I felt, and she responded with "you can never come back here again." So instead of solving the problem, they ban you. On top of this, they owe me money. They have also been known to cancel appointments made by individuals if the office gets too full, but they do not notify you of said cancellation until you arrive. They also have a tendency, to have monitors facing patients, medical procedures done out in the open, and numerous code violations regarding the sanitization of the business, specifically regarding things dropped on the floor, singular pairs of gloves used on numerous patients during the donating process, and phlebotomists touching their hair, or face, with their gloves on, and then touching medical supplies without swapping gloves. Failure to make a risk analysis, is a HIPAA violation. They also have a tendency to be maskless and not wear proper PPE other than their scrub covers. Some of the phlebotomists at the front wear facemasks, but that's as far as it goes. This facility is extremely unprofessional, slow, and cheap. They have been progressively docking the pay per donation, all the way down to 110 dollars for 2 donations, which is significantly lower than some other facilities. Also, the illness that I got put on antibiotics for in the first place, I caught, from this plasma center! It's not sanitary. As said previously, several sanitization concerns, as well as privacy concerns regarding medical information. Don't go here. I will be contacting their employers, and informing them about the several health code violations, HIPAA violations, and unprofessionalism residing in this workplace. Good day. read more

We're very kind the whole experience and constantly asked if I was feeling any pain as well as if I was feeling okay. Very caring and the atmosphere didn't feel as if it was a donation center it felt like talking to a friend or catching up with someone you know already. Healing process wasn't bad either, at first it was sore but personally I was never left with any bruises. Only 1 time did I have a bad experience with them loosing my vein and trying to find it but they kept loosing it and eventually had to use my other arm. read more

Clean, welcoming and professional! Looking forward to donating again! The new donor experience took about 3 hours but after this I can just show up and donate and the process will go much faster. The staff is friendly and super thorough with the medical review and physical, which made me feel safe and secure when undergoing a new medical procedure. Basically first you wait maybe 30 min (after making an appointment on the app), then get called to do a finger prick blood test and have vitals taken, then have a snack and take a questionnaire (30 min), wait 20 min, physical (30 min) wait 15ish min, take a colored card and wait for a machine to open up. Then they test your blood, explain the process, hook you up to the machine and all of that takes about an hour. You wait 15 min to make sure you're ok at the end. It was a positive experience and the payout is excellent! I was very cold since it is a medical type facility so I advise bringing a jacket and eating/drinking a lot. read more

I used to go to biolife in Stockton and I had a good experience with them. But I just had moved out to Fresno and tried their facility. I didn't like my experience, 3 employees walked passed me several times while my machine is beeping letting them know I'm done. But I didn't get seen after 4 donors finished after me, I didn't get seen until I said excused me. I tried to hold my anger in because I'm not the type to call anybody out at their job. But I didn't get the needle out my arm after I seen an employee pass me several times and go straight for the donor that had JUST finish. I complained to a staff up front but I know how it goes. Nothing will be don or talked about. They don't take this serious. I only took it seriously because I had kids waiting for me. I waited almost 20 mins after I finished donating to get the needle out my arm. read more

There was one employee who has just stared me down, but I however overlook it cuz I have a RBF, she stuck me for the first time and I was in visible pain instead of taking the needle out as I was expressing the pain she walked away while It was still in and got someone else leaving me sitting there. My whole bicep is swollen visibly, and I'm left shocked, this girl stuck me like I had disrespected her whole family. Never again. read more

I went into BioLife thinking it was gonna be a good experience. Instead I answered truthfully about being diagnosed with PTSD. It took me months to get all the paperwork signed by the VA to become eligible. Every week since then, someone is reviewing my paperwork weekly. Every week I sit in a chair for anywhere between half hour / hour trying to work with BioLife. Every week they flag me and tell me something is wrong with my paperwork. So I sit there with them trying to figure it out by giving VA a call and eventually I get ahold of someone willing to help me from the VA. Tens out all the information was on the forms they requested however the big date at the bottom where the doctor signed wasn't good enough. So the next week I go in, there is another issue, turns out to be the same issue. This week I go in and there is another issue plus it's Saturday and the VA isn't available. So when I went to go stand up in the nurses office I flipped my hand on the table to prop myself out of the chair and quietly leave the nurses office to talk to a manger about the situation. Unfortunately the nurse told management that I had an outburst and I hit the desk deliberately on the way out, and I'm sure this was due to me basically letting the nurse know I drive all the way from Coarsegold, I'm a 100% disabled vet and I just can't be driving into town every Saturday and Tuesday just to find out that they have my file flagged by the doctor again for the 4th week in a row. I tried talking to management about all this but instead she wanted to focus on sending an email up her chain to find out if I'm still an eligible candidate. Unfortunately if they want me to get 100 documents a week from the VA to segregate me out of there program that's fine. I can't do this for them and they don't want me there because of my honesty. As much as they say they want you to be as honest as possible about your mental health history, I would think twice. There is no way to verify anything unless your honest with them about bipolar, ptsd, etc. if you are honest about it and yours don't have your account flagged every week your lucky. Plus if your a Veteran think twice about divulging info in honesty to this company. If you do divulge that you have a mental illness this companies policy is to make you go back every year to your Doctor for another waiver so they can start the buddy f*ck process over again. Sorry, no good review from me with this company. It's like any other company, "we care about your well being". No they don't, they care about the company going in the black, any potential problems, weed them out. read more
