However, problems arose with lab work ordered at Liberty Hospital. I was billed $400 for a blood test and then $800 for a chest X-ray that should have been covered. The problem was that the provider put in the wrong code - routine vs diagnostic. Once, ok. It got fixed and paid. The X-ray? I called to try to reach out to Dr Lucas, as Blue Cross advised and he simply had someone call me and tell me to reach out to his billing office. The billing office? Have nothing to do with the code for the X-ray and so basically just run around to a dead end. Ok. That's bad enough? The Hinesville office...sometimes sweet and respectful. Sometimes rude and dismissive. I think it is dependent on which front desk person you reach. My thought. Why grab an apple out to eat when you know it may be the bad one. I thought to drive to Statesboro from Hinesville to see Dr Lucas there but...there are other dermatologists. Please be careful - you could end up being billed hundreds or thousands for errors they make and wont fix. They send you for diagnostic tests and do no follow up to check results. They can be very rude and disrespectful for no reason. Sad. I think a great doctor but the problems are too costly.

The staff were so efficient and kind. They were interactive with my infant to make sure she was entertained while they checked me out. They took my concerns seriously and gave me options to consider rather than telling me "tough luck" like other pWas able to get to treated and feeling better within 2 hours of leaving. Huge thanks! I was left an office key on my second day and I was expected to keep an eye on , or "babysit" the office while the doctor took her children to some sort of carnival, and I was left there with less than one day of shadowing or so called "training". I answered phones for over an hour and tried to deal with an absolute irate patient, and then I had to shut down the office and lock it down on my own!!! I was just thrown out there and way too much was expected of me and now I am just getting strung along until now...I pretty much get the point. I have never felt so useless in my life. Today I left the office in tears and tried to keep a smile on my face while taking my son to his autism therapy appointment. I was SO excited to get offered this job position and I really enjoyed it while it lasted, I feel like I was treated poorly and unprofessionally by the doctor in the end and I deserve better than this, not to mention being caught totally off guard. How can you expect a girl to take charge and initiative with very limited training?! You are not just handed excellent staff, you make them, and a week is not enough time to expect the results you want and throw a new employee away like trash. My heart is breaking, I really had my heart set on this job. Shame, Shame, Shame on this disastrous situation. And now as I sit at home with my family, I know I am at least doing something right.

Visited this location for a Covid test, after having some symptoms and later on finding out we had…read morebeen exposed. I love the convenience of their office hours and the ability to have a PA/ NP or DR assist me quickly without having to worry about a pcp visit or worse an emergency room visit! The PA & Nurse were both so nice and friendly and got us taken care of so quickly. The results took 3-5 mins... now that's fast! I recommend them if you're in need of any urgent medical needs. They are certainly caring and friendly!

I waited for 2 hours, and they had not put in the request. I wasn't able to get the medication until the next day. Along with that they ran some tests but never reached back out as they indicated they would to tell me the results.
