They collapsed a vein in my arm due to an error on the phlebotomist's behalf(KC/mira was the phlebotomist). Generally have not had any issues with my donation, but in my last donation they were injecting blood back directly into my arm on return and my vein burst from machine's pressure or incorrect needle insertion; I had great, thick veins(the phlebotomists would compliment them) in my arm and now that's gone. Made it to 22% and then my arm just kept getting bigger and bigger like a waterballoon... Permanent? no one really knows. All I can go by is what I see and I saw my arm balloon up from the blood going into it directly and now I have no vein where they were as thick as a pencil. They didn't catch it, my machine was beeping with error notifications; I had to be the one to inform them that something was going on. Also the fact that now it makes me look like a drug user is a pretty uncomfortable problem. Be warned. But if you do go, I only recommend Veronica and Jesus be permitted to do the procedure. update** I was postponed from further donations due to phlebotomist's error and an incident report was filed, also seems that she was pulled off the floor and an emergency staff meeting was called minutes after my report was filed. The phlebotomist had the nerve to ask if I had fallen and hit my arm when in fact it is 100% due to the bursting of my vein and pooling of blood in my arm going unnoticed. Unfortunately I will have to go to the ER soon as my arm continues to cause me pain and it seems a lot more serious than they will admit. ***update: Bruise has spread to my bicep. read more

Wonderful facilities and staff. Super easy to get started, few minor requirements, but the the nurses up front are experienced, helpful, professional, Lucy Dominguez was wonderful to me- go see her. Quick physical/vital screening, time to donate. Great techs/RNs in the back, all of them , had a different one everytime but once, all good at what they do. Clean, comfortable, quick assistance- even movies going on all the TV's. Great experience top to bottom, and that is the all part. Go Donate plasma! Save/Help if you can. I have been a Grifols Biomat U.S.A. donor for about 3 years. Grifols has gottten me out of so many financial binds. The Grifos staff is very friendly, nice, and very customer service oriented. Plus,they are there on the floor watching in case anyone has any questions or issues. I have never gotten ill period since I started donating plasma. So,for you all that are weary about donating plasma, of course,I'm not a doctor or into the medical field, so please check with your doctor first,but if you get a clear from your doctor, I definitely recommend Grifols Biomat U.S.A. Very bad place to come I've been touched with other people's blood pouches twice and even told the manager and they did nothing about it. The employees are very rude and give attitude for no reason some employees even like to dig into you're arm and pretend like they don't know where you're vein is if they are in a bad mood . I wouldn't recommend coming here if you don't want to go home with arm pains that are unnecessary or get treated with disrespect. And they don't care about clealiness when it comes to others blood . read more

I'm a single Mom with 3 kids and 1 income. My donations have helped get me by between paychecks. With inflation of prices everywhere and especially for gas, I'm still doing pretty well. The staff is very friendly and professional.
