Despite being in the system, at another Grifols location, and being signed in and transferred on the system, Andrea pulled me out of the line where I had already been cleared and told me I couldn't donate at that location despite showing her my current student ID, birth certificate, property house bill, and electric bill all with my name on it. She even went so far as to make a snide comment when mentioning the reason she just couldn't allow me to move forward was because she had no proof despite the obvious (while pausing to look at me) in a disconcerting way that I was "far over 18." Her insincerity was disgusting. Also, I'm AB+ so my plasma is universal. Other centers have shown the importance of this. Sarai in the front was nice and my primary reason aside from the center being close to want to move over there. This issue occurred on a Friday a few weeks ago. I had expressed my concern for wanting to donate before my trip and she did nothing more than tell me how sorry she was with a smile on her face the entire time. Sarai and the others in the front are witnesses to this gross abuse of authority. She also denied allowing me to speak to a manager saying he was not there.

At CSL you will go straight to the kiosk with no wait and almost immediately get evaluated and head to the back to donate.

Blood drawn on Valentine's Day, and they had cupcakes for snacks afterwards! I had a cranberry juice and other snack offered while I relaxed for the 15 minutes afterwards in a room with the open layout. Felt good donating and helping out others in need. You never know when you might be the one in need. Glad we have these services available.
