On a beautiful, sunny spring afternoon, this was a welcome alternative to the WONDERFUL but suuuper busy main location of YS Brewery. They have a system (necessary, but a p.i.t.a.) that only lets a few people in at a time in the original spot. Well, rather than wait around for our "turn" to get in, we decided to try this new spot and were super glad we did!! Still plenty of Covid precautions, but also TONS of space, and we didn't feel rushed or in someone else's space. All the same GREAT brews (check out the maple stout, if available!!), plenty of seating inside and out on their patio, and attentive service from knowledgeable crew! I'm not sure if food trucks ever make their way over this way, but you'll be right next door to the Calypso Grill and Smokehouse... (yum!!) Limited hours, but definitely worth checking out... We have an open catering policy where you pick your own caterer, or bring in your own food, you determine your own food and beverage budget. Liquior can be provide for your guest you can not sell liquor to your guest. The lower banquet room has the stone fireplace with full kitchen it rents for 500.00 the Ballroom is on the upper level it also rents for 500.00 it does not have a kitchen if you would like both level it would be 975.00 for the day 10am to midnight. There is a 150.00 deposit to hold your date. We only take cash or checks or PayPal.. Each room holds 195 people. We have round tables that seat 8, and rectangle that are 6 ft. 5 ft. and 8 ft. I also rent white chair covers 1.00 each and white/black linen tablecloths at 4.00 each. Table runners at 1.00 each and chair sashes at .50 each. We also have a PA system with wireless micphones,5 disc CD player, am/fm radio and it hooks up to your iPod, phone or laptop the PA system rents for 75.00. I expected and received a phone call on the first day. I discussed with the counselor what coping skills worked best with her. On the fourth day of camp, I received a call saying that she has attempted to assault a counselor. I rushed in to discover that she had been crying, wanting to come home and had just been told "no. You have to participate with the rest of the kids." I was told by the counselor that she had been wheezing all day, and vomiting. When she went to hug the counselor (counselor told me herself that she opened her arms to invite her in for a hug) for some comfort, she was mouth breathing at this time as nothing was done about her asthma even with an air quality alert. They accused her of attempting to bite and refused to allow her to finish the last day of camp. There are 3 times they should have called me before this moment, 2 of which were medical emergencies and could have resulted in hospital visits. I made the mistake of thinking that because they call themselves "Christian based" that my seven year old would be treated with love and kept safe. Instead she was out into a dangerous situation and then criticized and accused of things she never did.

We visited a few times during our stay and enjoyed everything from waffles and burritos for breakfast, to sushi for lunch, and even after dinner draft beers. Wish we could have tried the salads, burgers, and pizza! We appreciated that they were open almost all day (8AM-12AM on Saturdays). Note that they are CLOSED Sunday which is kind of sad if you're wanting coffee or brunch. We appreciated that they were kid-friendly, as well. This makes a stay in Downtown Springfield legitimately appealing and it's a refreshing place to visit and mingle while supporting small businesses after this past year.

Debbie, Emily, and the other wonderful lady made that happen instantly. We are so appreciative of their help and support during a difficult time. The Loft is Combustion Brewery's event space, located on the second floor above their brewery and…read morerestaurant. It's a great space - open for whatever you're looking to do. The city of Pickerington's been holding their Thursday nite farmers market in this space. I was just there for a corn hole tournament benefiting a local business's Pelotonia endeavors. I absolutely adore the big orangeish and turquoise block design. There's lots of large windows all around, too. There's a bar in the open space, as well as a smaller room within that can host smaller groups for meetings, etc. since opening The Loft, Combustion has done a great job holding many different events, beer-centered and not.
