Most of the slabs are level, but a couple have settled a little either forward or backward. The is one picnic table and rain shelter at the front of the RV parking area, next to the pay box and pricing sign. Nice view of the lake and a wide open sunset. Lots of room to run. I definitely recommend finding a seat under the tarp, it was comfortable there. The sun was beating down pretty hard and I think I would have gotten a sunburn if I hadn't of been under the shaded seats. The whole process from getting the tickets to getting off the boat was very smooth and easy. We paid $15 for a 45 min. Boat ride. Worth every penny! From the parking lot area, we went up the hill towards the trees, away from the lake, and the trails they had there were well marked, but not particularly wide walking paths like Turkey Mountains'. If you are in the mood to feel like you are exploring nature "off the beaten path" while still being on a trail, this is a great place to do it! I will be going again!

No one was in the gate attendant shack when I pulled up but there were easy to follow instructions to self pay. It was only $5 for a day pass which I thought was a great deal! The hike along the nature trail was beautiful. There are many areas where you're able to look out over the lake if you follow the "hiking" trail. I took my doggo with me. I personally didn't think it was a very strenuous hike, but I'm also fairly active. Be careful and watch your footing. I also came across what I would call a "hidden beach". Unless you hike to it or know where to locate it via boat, it's quite private. I thought it was absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to come back once everything greens up and bring a lunch with me to enjoy it for longer. The trail seemed well maintained and there wasn't any trash anywhere which is what I always like to see. I hope to get back to this lake before the end of summer. I'm trying to visit a different Tulsa District Corps lake each weekend this summer! Would highly recommend!!

It's pretty walking along the lake with plenty of places to stop and enjoy the view. It's definitely worth a visit and I will come back in a different season.
