Love this hidden gem just outside of Tulsa. It's a nice lake, set low, so it feels secluded. There are walking trails and some good hiking trails too. You can even hike around the lake, which is not always easy, so if you are inexperienced, it may take up to 2 hours. Another cool feature of this park is that there is a waterfall (better pics in summer) that you can also hike all around. Lastly, not sure what's up with the goats and mules around, but they are super kind and it was like a free petting zoo for my kids. This might be our new "go to" park for walks and hikes that aren't too far from home, especially on days when you know Gathering Place is crazy packed.

Hiked 3 miles! It was a bit difficult, but very worth this view. Definitely recommend!

Great place to hike and fish. Man made waterfall is there which is nice, and nature trail is pretty fun to hike.

We kayak on this lake. It's smaller, surrounded by hills, walk to N of the lake to find the falls. Not for the unsteady.

Nice Lake. I went first time in winter and thought it a great place for a day out. Can't wait to visit during the summer.

Nice little lake. Has walking areas, fishing, put a boat or kayak in. Good place to let the dogs swim

The park is nicely kept. There are real restrooms and latrines, RV and tent camping. Boating and boat launch. Piers and fishing. Lot of picnic tables. It is sand bottom, so is brown when the wind is strong. Nice play ground. http://www.travelok.com/listings/view.profile/id.34

Getting to the lake was a little crazy and there were no clear posted signs where to turn. The road from one point off Rt 66 was ROUGH and NARROW. For our first time pulling our camper it was 4 miles of stress. We always leave the site cleaner than how we found it. That being said we found lots of broken glass on the beach and trash. Lots of stickers in the grass. Overall the campground was clean. Restrooms and bath houses were in general clean. No real doors to speak of. they used shower curtains which were torn making it awkward to use the restroom or shower. I would not reserve site 20 or 21. #20 has a lot of wash out and was not level. #21 was a little better. #22 &#23 were much flatter and would be easier to level your camper on. We reserved online and according to the site it was full and site picking was slim. When we arrived there were 10-15 total campsites occupied...maybe? So I would not trust the site. I would suggest calling if you are interested in a particular site. We did not have a boat and did shore fishing with no luck. Lots of turtles. There were large boats on the water and personal water craft. Water was on opposite side of camper. We had to go to walmart and get a longer hose. The water had great pressure so be sure you get a regulator. I would also suggest bringing water to make coffee or cook with or use an intake filter. Just smells a little but not terrible. I just didn't like the way my coffee tasted. I don't think we will return based on sites, navigation and price. $20+ with no septic.

He found Tony G's at Pier 51 and we were on our way. The drive from Tulsa was lovely and definitely felt like we were heading out someplace special. We were thrilled when we showed up. This place was just what I was looking for. It was a relaxed atmosphere with covered outdoor seating right on the water. There is an indoor seating option, too. Between four of us we shared fried cheese, balls, a catfish platter with onion rings, and a burger. We also had a bucket of beer and some strawberry daiquiris. All exceeded our expectations and was served by a lovely server named Taylor. All of the customers looked to be having as good of a time as we were. Can't wait to go back!
