Driving into the course you are met by a very professional and classy sign denoting the golf course by name. A long, winding and picturesque drive eventually gets you to the pro shop. Let's get to the good stuff right away.... PROS: -staff is superb, friendly, professional and always smiling. -range balls are free with the purchase of your round. -the horticulture around the course is well maintained and very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. -definitely a challenging course for players of all skill levels -lightning fast greens -turf was very well-maintained and in great shape. -BYOB! They don't have a liquor license so bring your own and save! They have all the ice you need and coolers on the carts. -plenty of water stations on the course -off the tee most fairways are wide open and allow for those who may not hit the straight ball each time to still make a second shot. - greens fees include cart CONS: -a bit in the pricey side for a golf course near West Branch MI. $80 is a bit much. -under-rated by the PGA. 130 slope from the whites is not accurate. In my opinion, it plays more like 135-136 -some very large greens. There are times that you're so far away from the flag you wonder if the flat stick is enough. -lightning fast greens. Dunes course is just a typical resort style layout. A few good holes but other than that nothing special. Dunes Course - tee boxes, fairways and greens were in good shape.The Loop is a total dump. Total goat ranch. Only thing good about it is the architecture of playing it backwards but that's it. Both courses are overly priced. Any normal sized city these courses are $50 TOPS!! Gnats all over the loop makes golfing unbearable. Divots all over the course and dead spots. You better pray your drive in the fairway finds a piece of grass. They don't offer water on the course and don't even give you a .25cent bottle of water before the round. You have to purchase a $4 bottle. Rocks in all traps on both courses. I suggest cheating and pulling your ball out of the bunkers so you don't ruin your clubs. For the price they charge you would think the traps would be rockless. No one rakes the traps and even maintenance does rack the bunkers before first tee off. Over hyped and over priced. Staff weren't friendly at all. Starter said " people go to Arcadia for the views and here for the golf" Guy must get paid every time he says that. Go to Arcadia for a better experience. Course, lodging, food, staff and price are way better at Arcadia.

Decent practice range is nice to get warmed up for fun day on the Dream. A unique arrangement allows you to bring your own beverages and stash in the cooler that's part of each cart. Ice also provided. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

You guys went above and beyond all expectations for our trip last weekend!! There was a little hiccup but your accommodations exceeded our expectations!! The men running the build at the park even went as far as gifting my kids with stuffed animals because the amusement park was closed and they found our we were there for Kayla's 6th birthday. Unbelievable, I have never played a golf course that doesn't work with their PAYING customers!!! NEVER! This is an up north course that thinks they are Treetops .. lol... Even Treetops works with their paying customers. We have been coming here for years. WTH are they thinking? They must have more money than they no what to do with! They're working very hard to get the course up to their standards after taking over in 2021. Stop in and support these great people. Pizza is delicious and prices can't be beat. If you're not a cheese person order light cheese! They load it up! Wish I took a picture of the pizza but I did get a cheese bread to go which was also delicious.
