From what I am told, it's a great course, with nicely manicured greens and the management is first class. I have had lunch and dinner here. The lunch is great! They give you huge portions...I think they could easily chop them in half and people would be fine with that. Dinner is also good here. I had the root beer chicken. It sounded interesting, but was so good! It was served with wonderful mashed potatoes and asparagus spears. Everything was cooked perfectly. I am surprised it isn't busier than it is. I guess it's just a hidden gem in a West Branch. When you visit the area, be sure to stop in for a game of golf or a bite to eat.

The West Branch Country Club is a great golf course with some of the best greens in Michigan. Before every round, the simple reality is that the pro-shop can get things off to a good start. Kyle and the others seem very efficient and eager to keep everyone moving. The supply of golfing apparel and accessories is adequate. I know my wife finds something every time she is in there. My kids and wife really did not have much interest in golfing, so I decided to drop my membership. The other poster who said that the pro said "you will never get in" was talking about the fact there was a 4 year wait list around that time, not about his attire. When I was a member, the people were always friendly and I could usually strike up a game by myself, or get together with someone else who was playing by themselves or less than a foursome. They're working very hard to get the course up to their standards after taking over in 2021. Stop in and support these great people. Pizza is delicious and prices can't be beat.
