Great brewery! What an amazing place! Spacious outdoor area with fire pits and comfy chairs, all abounding around a stage that hosts live bands. When the band is not playing listen to the serene creek running alongside the property. Inside is a welcoming area where the band plays inside when the weather does not cooperate. We were recommended this place by our Air Bnb hosts. They showed us a menu, and it looked good. However, their menu apparently changed or changes often. I have no idea. So my husband was disappointed as he had already selected what he wanted. But we persevered. I got the chicken paprikash. So good!! Big portion, creamy, stewy, flavorful. Husband got the Banh Mi sandwich. He recovered from his disappointment and said it was delicious. They had a great selection of beers and cider. But if you don't want to drink, not sure if they have many offering. But you can get a bottle of water. The best part was the ambiance. You can eat inside, but tonight was so lovely, why do it? How many warm summer nights with a cool breeze will we get? We sat under the trees and listened to the live styling of Benny Juice. He was great and sounded a bit like Jason Mraz. He had a big repertoire and a variety of genres from country to Elton John, with much in between. It was great!! A bonus is that there was a vendor selling jewelry in a cute little stall. We are new to the area but have friends who have lived in this region for a long time. It's fantastic to see a place like this locally - great vibe and space, amazing food offerings, and of course great beer. When we stopped by they had live music - was a great local band playing easy listening tunes, the perfect accompaniment to the brews. Great fall evening at Bird House brewing. My husband and I came in for a couple beers on a Friday evening. It's such a nice little area, I'd recommend anyone in the area to spend a couple hours here. There was a musician playing, and plenty of stacked wood to keep the fire rings/pits going. We snagged a chair next to the propane fireplace and was happy with the heat output. Stopped by after a hike on Hemlock lake. The pineapple mango sour was absolutely delicious - so much so that I got a "crowler" to go! The carnitas tacos were also fantastic -- the tacos were nicely sized and had substantial flavor. I got to enjoy my beer and tacos in the back, which felt more like a backyard, in all the best ways. My husband enjoys hoppy brews (Hazy Bird ) while I prefer darker offerings (Mighty Osprey Brown) - both had the depth of flavors we enjoy. We opted to sit outside. Soon the garden tables began to fill with adults and families. Children played. The local (Bloomfield) musician drew 200 or so patrons. We were fortunate to have arrived early. The music was free. The light breeze and heat kept insects away. The food menu changes with some frequency. My husband loved the (messy) pork tacos and the chicken paprikash. The tiny kitchen and staff did well to serve so many with minimal wait time. If you are looking for mass-produced beer, soft drinks, standard hots, burgers, and fries or for a children's menu, the Birdhouse offerings are unlikely to please. Tap water is available. Kids and some adults at the concert ate and drank child-friendly items they brought. All-in-all a pleasant early summer evening we plan to repeat. read more

I went there for Father's Day 2024. We waited over an hour for our food and my beer pass would not work for some reason. (I have used in there at least 20 times without issue. No apologies from them, just an "oh well"). I saw people going up and asking where their food was and the woman working the grill (pink shirt) wasn't happy about it. As an untrained observer, I would recommend not cooking to order when you are packed, and a majority of the orders are burgers and potato chips (they were out of the garbage plate special when I was there at 4:30). No apologies for the wait, but I saw one of the owners walking around doing so for people with their buzzer visible. I like this place and will go back but they have some improvements needed. P.S. This review is going on here, and on every other review site I can find, because I put a comment about this to them on Facebook. TOTALLY WORTH THE DRIVE I recently moved from Fairport to Charlotte. So, I had to go to Fairport today to pick up some mail and a prescription, so I thought I would take my dog Gracie for a ride and a chance to see her BFF Ozzy at the old house.‍ All good, they were excited to see each other and had a little romp. Soooo, then I thought it would be fun to check out a newish brewery, Birdhouse Brewing Company for dinner since they are a dog-friendly place. I *thought they were in Honeoye Falls. I told Joe they were in Honeoye Falls. He agreed to meet me there. He thought he was headed towards Honeoye Falls. (He got lost in a good way and ended up right where he was supposed to.) I *thought it was only 15 or so minutes away. I *thought it was in the old Craft Brewing building. ... I thought wrong. This wonderful brewery is in fact, in *Honeoye, not Honeoye Falls. This excursion was a good 30 minutes from Fairport. The return trip to my new home in Charlotte was 56 minutes long. I traveled through 3 counties (Monroe, Ontario and Livingston and back through Monroe again) The moonlight on the fields was breathtaking. The good news is that the beer was great, they had treats for Gracie, and the food was delicious!! We both (Joe and I) had the Hungarian Chicken Paprikash. Gracie had a dog biscuit It was well worth it. I'll unpack boxes tomorrow ‍ Take a drive, explore a few counties, enjoy a good beer. Good night! read more

Limited food menu, all outside bbq items but they were all really good. Local Hungarian style sausage that was delicious. Add the bacon jam to your cheese burger and thank me later. We moved to Honeoye in the middle of the pandemic, and were so happy to have a little oasis where we felt safe and comfortable in our small town. The food and beer at Birdhouse is always incredible! They also offer ciders, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages. The food menu rotates and although small, always has something that everyone can enjoy. The atmosphere here is so relaxing and cozy. Was visiting family on Honeoye lake wanted to go eat somewhere there so we went to the Birdhouse cute place, but they didn't service regular beers the guys liked us ladies got a cider drink it was okay not to crazy about these kind of drinks & we order food got the tacos didn't like were very messy, got beer pretzels was pretty good, order chips & dip I really like the dip that was tasty, the spinach potato things wasn't good was ok. There was five of us & all said never coming back. It's sad Honeoye has no restaurant in that area. If you want to go to a restaurant go to Naples they have lots of place's to eat in that town, wish our family took us to Naples the night before and not the birdhouse it was a waste of money & time. read more

This new brewpub is just what the doctor ordered. Top notch brews (try the Red Ale) and food. We had the chicken paprikash, and one each of the Ruben, chicken tikka and oyster mushroom tacos. This is the place you want to stop for a beer! Order everything at the bar with their friendly staff! Take your drinks and post your "number" on your table for your food to be served. The bar features craft beer, a local wine, and a short, but eclectic food menu that has something for everyone; vegan choices as well. The inside has a modern barn feel, open and airy. The outside sprawls along the creek edge, lots of lawn area shielded from the sun and upper deck area too. Easy parking just steps away. Oh also, if you have a pooch, this place is "dog-friendly." This past Friday night featured live music. A couple even got up and started dancing on the lawn (so cute!). Yes, it is wooded and the mosquitos come out at sunset, but there are baskets of bug spray in the deck to arm yourself (isn't that thoughtful?). I enjoyed a New York state Chardonnay, fresh and light. My husband sampled an IPA (always!) that he also really liked. We were visiting post-dinner so we only ordered a soft pretzel. Two friends and myself signed up for a Hiking and Beer Experience that we found online. We started off hiking then ended at the brewhouse. When we first arrived we noticed the parking was quite limited. There was a beautiful outdoor sitting area. Lots of space for tables on the deck and in the grass. There was even an outdoor stage where a band was playing. Also there was a small gift stand to buy t-shirts and knick knacks. Our group got to sit under a tent and we all got one beer free. The server seemed very overwhelmed and forgot to bring my friend's drink for 10 minutes. To make up for it though, we got an extra beer to share between the three of us. We did not realize how busy the kitchen was and sat before ordering food. We were told to order online, which we did and then had another 25 minutes to wait after that. I'm assuming on a not so busy day it would be a lot quicker. We ordered vegetarian tacos, mac & cheese, and the pretzel. The mac & cheese was our favorite; it had Cheetos on top as the crusty topping. I couldn't tell you what beers I tried but I loved them all. I wish this place was closer so I could go more often.
