WARNING FOR EVENT PLANNING AND RENTING OUT TOP FLOOR BAR. And just general attendance. Last night was the third time our office attempted to patronize this place and were treated like scum. I worked in the service industry for over 10 years and know this won't change anything. The regular bartender clearly has free rein to speak to people like they're less than for simply existing. We've ALWAYS been cordial and patient while she speaks to us like morons but after RENTING OUT THE TOP FLOOR for a very special going away event and being gaslighted into thinking that having to utilize the downstairs bartender AFTER booking the room with a "DEDICATED BARTENDER" (see photo) our 30+ people office will never patronize this place again. First attempt - said bartender treated us like crap because we didn't call ahead for (an unexpected) 15 people. Second attempt- we call ahead two days before and she's still pissed off despite us coming TO HER from the patio for all orders. Third and final attempt- we RENT OUT THE TOP BAR WITH "DEDICATED BARTENDER" however the bartender AND manager act like WE are asking for too much for wanting the "DEDICATED BARTENDER" we booked. Bartender makes a point to show her disdain and displeasure each time she comes upstairs to serve us. How is that okay?????? Like I said- I've worked in the service industry for over a decade and know an establishment that is ruled by a bartender. I know this review will do nothing and life will go on. But after 3 attempts to satisfy this bartenders moods and STILL being treated like garbage- it needs to be said. Your manager and bartender treated the nicest person I've ever met like they were stupid and misinformed after attempting to put together an event for a very beloved coworker. MAYBE just MAYBE if a dedicated bartender is advertised to be included in the top floor rental MAYBE a dedicated bartender should be scheduled. OR (and I'm citing a decade of seeing this done and patrons being treated with respect throughout) if there isn't staff the manager should make a point to remedy it and be attentive to the situation. I hope this deters the next kind patrons from finishing their work days by being mistreated and spoken to like scum. We gave it 3 attempts but clearly it's not a "she's just having a rough day" kind of situation. I got a dirty martini and it was in a plastic cup, which the waitress did warn me about but I don't really like beer (don't judge me). They are just a simple bar spot with a large menu. I feel like most bars have small menus, but there is truly something for everyone here. Also a ton of beers on draft/in bottles or cans so you can't go wrong. I went here with my dad since I've been here before and I figured my dad would enjoy the food since I ate here a few times. To start off the bartender was very unfriendly and there was only a few people in the restaurant at the time I could understand if they were busy but it was a Tuesday and around 11am. I ordered the veggie hoagie which was okay the vegetables weren't seasoned at all they just seemed really oily it would of been better if the vegetables were at least seasoned a bit. My dad got the patty melt which he seemed to really like and I'd have to agree with him since before I was a vegetarian I ordered the patty melt before and it was delicious. I tried to clear the air since the one bartender made us feel terrible and I apologized for the confusion as I tried to explain that we weren't some kids trying to get a free round, we just didn't want to pay for something we didn't order/drink, but they continued to make assumptions about us and demand that they were right. They eventually "comped those extra drinks for us," which again passive aggressively implies that we were wrong. I've never been made to feel so unwelcome or judged by someone, especially for someone else's mistake. To the rude bartender, go check your cameras and you'll see that you and your "20 years of bartending" experience only served us 2 rounds and lost you 2 patrons. read more

One of the best places to get wings in Pittsburgh! A bit of a hidden gem in South Side, but once you discover it, you'll make sure everyone knows. I ordered 30 wings and a side of fries as takeout. They let me know the order would be ready in 15-20 minutes and everything was right on time. For sauces I got the Eric Jr, one of their top flavors, Jerk and Golden BBQ. The wings had an excellent crispy outside, which I love, and a tender meat inside. I would have liked more sauce on the wings to really pack a punch of flavor. My favorite sauce was the Eric Jr. Very similar to a medium Buffalo sauce, but with some ground pepper and other seasoning for a great flavor. The Jerk is a dry rub that is very flavorful and has a little bit of a spicy kick. Lastly the Golden BBQ had a honey flavor, not much of the BBQ came through in taste but was still tasty. The side of fries was large enough to share and contained lovely potato patch like fries with sea salt seasoning. All the wings also come with celery and sides of ranch or blue cheese. Lowest price for wings I've seen without sacrificing taste too. Definitely will be coming here to try some of their other flavors! read more

They also have burn your face off flavors too which my friend always gets a side of the sauce so she can control how spicy it gets. They have an extensive beer list and always have a special going on. It's fun to watch games here too and they have TVs everywhere so no matter where you sit you can watch. Great beer selection and a full menu, with TVs at all angles so you can see the game no matter where you are sitting. I had a chicken wrap with their thai chili sauce.
