But the actual offices are nice and super modern - too bad I feel like I went through a time warp to get there. The doctor I saw was perfectly nice but I don't feel that her examination was thorough. She didn't check every place and seemed to take great stock in the fact that I had a mole exam within the last 3 years. The entire thing took 4 minutes. I asked about further procedures and pricing... of course, she has no idea. However, I recently had several rude dermatologists and this doctor was perfectly polite. It also showed up on my mass general patent gateway which is helpful for records and billing.

Dr. Goldaber treated a skin issue with MOES surgery, that, come to find out, could have been treated topically (for much less money, of course). Then, he mistreated an ongoing cyst issue: I finally sought treatment from another, much better, more responsive, dermatologist, who said that it could have been treated months ago with a steroid injection, which he performed that day, ending the issue for good. Unfortunately, I endured endless amounts of discomfort, until I left Dr. Goldaber's practice. And then, there's the billing department: if you have an issue, forget it. The rudest person I've ever dealt with in my life. Seriously. Go. Somewhere. Else.

I wasn't planning to revisit her in a year to get less and less of a cream I needed either. Then she recommended some so called experts and even called one up to contact me, without my permission. She hadn't even given me the name of the dermatologist. I'm not going to go, because she might be the same sort of dermatologist as this one.

I used Dr. Aghassi's dermatology services for a few months this winter. i have a skin condition…read morei've been dealing with for over a decade now and in the winter it's particularly bad so i decided to bite the bullet and see if he could offer me any remedy. the reception staff isn't lovey dovey - the practice has a number of doctors and probably hundreds of clients and they are customer service weary. well whatever, who isn't used to a rude receptionist by now? appointments are few and far between, so if you wake up one morning with something the size of a football growing on you, well, hope you don't die before october, because that's when you can get your next appointment. Aghassi himself acts quite demure and is rather soft spoken and though he was very friendly i had a vague feeling he had no idea what he was doing. that was confirmed when he tried to prescribe things for me that i know don't work because i've tried them before and he would just tilt his head and sigh, like he'd run out of ideas. a nice enough fellow though. i scheduled an 8AM appointment one wednesday morning, confident i would make it to work by 8:30AM since his office is all of 3 miles from mine. i've been there before, for 7:30AM appointments and had no problems whatsoever. i walk in to a full office. a FULL office at 10 of 8AM! i check in and sit down with a reader's digest. surely these people are here to see one of the other doctors too. i mean really. 8AM comes and goes. 8:15AM comes and goes. no sorry for the delay from the receptionist, in fact her window is closed. at 8:25AM i am shuffled into the exam room where i wait another full 10 minutes. finally i think "forget this" and open the door to see him walking down the hall into another exam room. i forcibly drag him into my room where he mumbles that he doesn't know why his treatment isn't working, smiles a lot and then leaves. the line to pay was 5 people deep so i just walked out. done and done. no more dr.aghassi for me.

I called for an appointment with Dr. Aghassi and once I explained why I needed to see him…read more(suspicious spots) they got me in right away. I was very happy with the treatment that I received. He explained everything clearly and gave me options. After giving me the options, he was also happy to share what he would do if he where in my shoes. Overall, I can't think of anything that he could have done better and I will continue to see him for my dermatological needs.

My husband had a rapidly-growing growth that a famous doctor he goes to (not a dermatologist) expressed concern about. He advised us to see someone asap. We explained our concern to the receptionist, and she arranged for us to see Dr. Murfree within 48 hours. Dr. Murfree herself had just finished a Harvard/Mass General Fellowship in Dermatology, and despite the fact that she is still young, she's seen thousands of growths like his, and her competance reassured us immediately. To be on the safe side, she took out the growth and sent it for a biopsy, so we were doubly reassured. Her skills are so good that my husband needed only a bandaid, not a stitch, not even bleeding, when he left. It took all of 20 minutes. This lady is a good doctor.

I called on Saturday and left a message with a covering physician who said there was not much she could do until Tuesday but that she would contact Dr. Zabik, (very nice thing to do). Later that day, Dr. Zabik called my home and left a message that she had called it in for me. I did not ask her to do that but she did it because she is such a caring physician. I would highly recommend Dr. Zabik and this practice.
