Wow! What a delicious taco truck experience! Decided to give Birrieria Los Nava a try after our friends heard about their amazing breakfast burritos, we were too late for breakfast but stayed for the tacos. The carne asada tacos are absolutely delicious. The meat was plentiful & excellent flavor. No one had anything bad to say except they wish they could eat more. The ladies running the truck were friendly & run their business professionally with excellent customer service. The seating area was clean & adequate for a food truck vendor. I ordered Los Nava's birria burrito, taco and quesabirria, which met my expectations. They give plenty of toppings and lemons to go with the food. Their salsas were surprisingly unique, savory, and with a little kick. I received my order fairly quickly and the staff were friendly. They have a nice shaded area to escape the sun while you wait or dine. I definitely would come back and recommend it. read more

We ordered 12 steak eggs burrito with one steak & potato burrito! The steak and potato was edible but the steak & egg was loaded with salt. Just one bite, it tasted like eating a spoonful of salt!!!! So we called to tell them about it and asked to get at least 3 replaced so we 7 can split it up and have some food to eat, after all we bought 7 at $12 each. They refused! Insisted that, that's how they cook, ignored our own taste as a customer that we find it too salty!!! We returned all 6 since we could not eat it and they gave us 1 steak potato that basically cost $72 that we paid for the 6 at $12ea !!! What a mistake! NEVER again! read more

This place has the best birria burrito I've ever had. Full of meat. Birriaquiles were unique and very good with homemade chips. The guy running the truck is friendly and the portion sizes are good for the price. Wash it down with an ice cold Mexican coke, can't beat this stuff. Was at the RV store and noticed this place. It has a cool vibe and the staff is friendly. The tacos were good and the toppings are excellent. But of course the star is birria. The caldo de birria is delicious and flavorful! When it comes out deep red you know it's seasoned and tender. Would go back again just for the caldo! read more

This little red food truck is the best thing to happen to Yuma- more specifically the Foothills. Nestled amongst the towns plethora of fast food and restaurant franchises, finding this delicious birrieria spot felt like discovering a culinary Shangri La. One bite into my meal, and I could tell just how much time, care and effort this family puts into their food. Ive been back numerous times- it's always consistent and I am never left disappointed. On the weekends when it's busy, make sure to put your order in early. Authentic birrieria takes days of prep work, so they may run out by the end of the day. Sometimes theres a wait but they do their best to keep up with the demand. Trust me, the food is worth it and patience is a virtue. I usually get the torta or breakfast burrito for picking up/ordering to go. But if I order on the spot/dine in, I get the birrieria fries, chilaquiles, or quesabirrias or quesatacos. No matter what, I always get a side of consome for dipping and a Horchata to drink. Overall, this place just gets it. They understand flavor. They understand that food should be an experience and elicit emotions. All of the other food establishments fail horribly at this but here comes this little red truck with the best food/dining experience in Yuma. I come from a big city melting pot of cultures/cuisines and after 3 years of trying pretty much trying every eatery in Yuma, Ive always been on the hunt for a place to make me feel something- ANYTHING- while eating. This red truck has managed to do just that. Soooo- shout out to little red truck for feeding me like family, making me feel right at home and making some of the most flavorful food I've ever had. Oh. My........This place is SPECIAL! Those who know me know I am a fan of all taco trucks. This isn't one of them. This is a BIRRIA TRUCK! It doesn't matter if you want birria on chips, on fries, in tacos, or on a burrito........you come here for that amazing meat. Clearly, these are specialists. And why not? There's good taco trucks in Yuma. Good fish tacos, a place I like for asado.........but for Birria: there simply is no place better, bar none. read more

I don't think I've ever written a yelp food review before, but I ordered some carne asada fries (hold the guac) and a birria torta this morning and I am so happy. This is seriously good stuff. Yuma suffers for being in a great food location without a lot of great food spots, but THIS IS THE ONE. This is where I'll bring out-of-town visitors, etc., and I'm glad I took a chance on them for delivery. read more
