okay so here's my honest review i came to Yuma Bagel Company and overall it was a decent experience, kinda hit or miss depending on what you get first -- i got an açaí bowl with extra strawberries & i'm not even kidding it was SO good. this was my first ever açaí bowl & i'm actually really glad i tried it here because it set the bar high. super fresh, really flavorful, and the strawberries were definitely worth adding. easily the best thing i ordered next i got a french toast bagel with extra cream cheese. it was... okay. not bad by any means, just not what i expected. i couldn't really taste the "french toast" part, it mostly just tasted like a regular bagel with cream cheese. still good, just a little underwhelming compared to how it sounds also -- i was actually really excited to get a cinnamon swirl bagel with strawberry cream cheese... but they were out of stock so i tried to switch to just a regular bagel instead and they were out of that too. not gonna lie that part was kinda disappointing because i was really set on that cinnamon swirl for my drink i tried the mango sunrise lotus. i'll be honest, not really a fan. BUT i don't think that's fully on them -- it just wasn't my kind of drink. it didn't taste bad or anything, i just personally wouldn't order it again overall i'd say it's worth trying, especially for the açaí bowls because that alone carried the experience for me. just maybe have a backup order in mind in case they're out of what you want lol read more

I really wanted to rate a local bagel business higher. Bagel: it was a bit bready. Mine came faster and toasted like no bagel I've had (except generic mass produced bagels). It didn't quite have the bagel chew that I'm used to. The variety of spreads was good! The cold brew was tasty. Service: it was okay. A bit grouchy. I've had many bagels in my life from different states and these bagels are the best i've ever had. Everything was so fresh and AMAZINGLY priced. I ate a lox toast on onion bagel, great portions. The cereal bagel with blueberry cream cheese I will crave forever. Must try spot! my total was $13. Great price. read more

I was in Yuma for a couple of days to get a crown after having an implant. My dentist is located across the border in Los Algodones, Mexico, which is about a three-hour drive from Mesa. I stopped by Yuma Bagels for breakfast and ordered the Egg and Avocado Bagel along with a coffee truffle. The place was pretty good--small, but they have outdoor seating. First time here- I ordered a half dozen bagels to take home and a Bacon, Avocado, Tomato on an Everything Bagel to eat in. Apparently the toaster only has a light or carcinogenic setting... and the carcinogenic is the default. Upon opening my sandwich, I thought I transformed into Fire Marshall Bill from In Living Color as I got a blast of burnt garlic smell straight to my face and the seasoning on the bagel was black. Despite the charred outside, it was still a good sandwich- the red pepper cream cheese was delicious. I mentioned it to the girl up front for the next customers' sake, but she was just like, "yeah that's how it comes out, we got a new toaster, and it still does it." And she suggested I get a different bagel next time or order it lightly toasted.. like what? Lol I've never once in my life had to specify to lightly toast an Everything bagel so it doesn't get burnt. That being said, will I be back and order a different bagel next time? Yes. PS- the half dozen bagels I took home were really good. I froze some and ate them later. Their Club Sandwich Bagel is INSANE! Their Rise Breakfast Sandwich, also really good! Def have amazing sandwiches and spreads. I love the variety of cream cheeses. Latte's and Brews are ok. Let me just start off off with how cute is this spot. Love the colors of decor, the coffee bar, the small retail section, all adorable. When you walk in your are quickly greeted. This morning I was searching what location was near me and this spot came up. I'm new in town so I'm all about trying new spots. The bagel I had was yummy. I do want to add though that for my preference i had to remove extra cream cheese as when its hot it gets messy. But the bagel was yummy. Soft inside and bit chewy outside. Simply delicious! I stopped in this morning for the first time. The shop is small, but very cute. At the counter, there are a bunch of flavors; some both traditional and non traditional. I loved the variety, especially the hatch chile and jalapeño! The bagels were all very well priced and delicious. The service was super quick with all of the bagels coming out in about 5 minutes. Stopped by on our way to San Diego. Very good bagel sandwiches served hot and fresh. I had the egg whites sandwich on a hatch chile bagel. It's loaded with toppings and delicious. The bagels are all really good I've tried several of the sandwiches as well as just bagels and cream cheese and been happy with all of them. Service is generally good though the separate registers to order and pay doesn't seem to do anything except slow down the line. Coffee is consistently terrible. Does this business do anything right??? I called and was placed on hold for over 5 mins. Then tried calling back 60 times to get a busy signal for a half hour! All to ask a quick question! Service sucks here, food sucks more. Do not waste your time or money. I wish I can get my tip back at least. So I finally got through after calling 76 times. Forgot to mention, they don't clean their tables, so if you leave something behind it will more than likely be taken by another customer, like what happened to me! They sell spread for your bagels and do not have plastic knives for cutting your bagels. This place is a joke! I'm so pissed! read more

Popped in for a quick bite for breakfast and the spot was so cute! Little hole in the wall type place and they had a great amount of choices on their menu! We had a lox of love bagel and a chorizo style breakfast bagel which were honestly some of the best bagels we've ever had. Finally got to try this place out well worth the wait! Considering they are newly opened their ability to handle the customers in a friendly manner created a great flow. Love the layout and simplicity of this establishment. I ordered the egg sandwich (not sure what it's called) but it was HUGE! Definitely too much for one person but it was breakfast in a bite. I have no idea how I haven't reviewed this place yet. It is our go to breakfast spot before church on Sunday's. I haven't had anything that I don't like whether it be sweet or savory, breakfast sandwich, drinks. It's all been good. Service has always been great whether we order ahead or come in to order. The outside area is always clean when we go and even though the inside gets easily packed it's always clean as well. 100% recommend for a quick, filling breakfast/brunch. read more

The day the moving truck arrived we needed a simple grab and eat breakfast. Hubby arrived with a huge smile on his face and Yummy Goodies to provide deliciousness on a stressful hot summer day. What he described at your location was Fresh products, lots of tempting menu options , a clean interior, lots of customers but they managed to fulfill sit down orders and to- go customers with respect and impressive customer service! Altho busy parking wasn't a problem! Extra Asiago Cheese Bagels froze nicely thawing overnight two weeks after purchase. The only down side was my "Lox of Love" it wasn't exactly easy to hold and eat while directing furniture placement and dashing around in 100 plus degree weather! God bless one of the ... I don't know how long that glob of 98.6 degree cream cheese had been there on my cheek... but one of the movers finally kindly rescued me from further embarrassment!! LOL We will be back!!! (Well, they did up until today). 6 bagels 13$, cool. the young woman behind the counter: no mask, no gloves Asked for a cup of water, Was told they don't offer free tap water She said they had bottles, Bought a bottle, Turned to my father and told him that it was too bad. No gloves, no mask, no water., A bearded patron yelled to us as we left "that's freedom!" As I got into my car parked directly in front, he was still checking me out, I blew him a kiss he flipped me off. If freedom to you is not offering water to customers in the sunniest city on earth, not wearing gloves while handling food (health code) or masks when there is a virus being passed around killing our loved ones, I want no part, just observe my freedom of speech, and my freedom to never return.
