Terrible Food. Even Worse Service. I came in with low expectations--just wanted something hot and edible. A microwave burrito would've made me happy. Instead, I got a greasy, salty mess and some of the worst service I've ever experienced. Staff clearly didn't care. When I raised my concerns, the person in charge laughed and refused a refund. I'm going to break this one down... Food 3/5 I ordered Carne Asada tacos. The tortillas are not homemade. Wasn't really impressed, they were kinda hard. The meat it self was fine wasn't bad but wasn't terrific. The green salsa was also decent, I enjoyed it with the lemon. Unfortunately they don't have lime. Also ordered a Carne Asada burrito. I was a little thrown off with all the cabbage and mayo was definitely not my favorite. There for horchata was pretty good Overall, this place is fine. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't great. It's just your basic taco place. I don't think The price matches the quality. The place is cute. The service is a little weird. read more

I was craving tacos and found this place near our hotel. Although the pictures aren't that great please don't be fooled, it was delicious. We also had the horchata and Jamaica. It's a food truck but they have a great set up of tables and heaters. I recommend! read more

Very good, tripa on flour was my favorite... followed by lengua on corn. I like the dark green salsa over the red... had a cabeza tostada and it was ok. I think all the goodies on the tostada hid the cabeza flavor. Will do a cabeza taco, steak tostada and a chorizo taco next time with another tripa taco on flour of course! This place seemed to have everything going for it, but it was a disappointment. The carne asada was not seasoned or marinated and the guy on the grill chopped it into oblivion- it was almost the texture of ground beef by the time the cook got done destroying it. The taco, for $3, was puny- it was literally $1 a bite. The sope, at $5, was a bit better, but the flavors were simply not there. Unless you like skimpy servings of bland overpriced food that has been cooked and chopped to death, there are MUCH better options in the area. read more

It's small things that make this place great. The Staff is among the best, they friendly, insightful and professional. The homemade and fresh salsa mojo and verde are amazing and delicious. I watch Junior, the chef, roasting the vegetables on an open flame. The corn tortillas not made in-house are perfect for the tacos. The meat selection is one of the best. I tried 4 different meat (Carne Asada, Pollo, Chorizo and Carnitas) all were large in portion size and super delicious. The experience was so good, I ordered 60 tacos for the next day to celebrate Cinco De Mayo with my co-workers. P.S The fresh made Agua Fresca are a MUST drink with these tacos and The FLAN is a MUST TRY if you have room. read more

This place is absolutely worth a visit. Great portions, great flavor, and all of their salsas are on point. They also have legit Mexican Coke not the Mexican Coke made with corn syrup. The prices are totally reasonable for what you get. The only downside is parking and the hours. I so wish they were opened during the day but, I imagine at that intersection things could get crazy. I recommend this place 100%. Almost forgot, the staff was very friendly which is a plus in Yuma. read more

I've been looking forward to trying this place after hearing their name dropped for tacos in town. There were only a few people are eating so I walked in and ordered, paid and gave my ticket to the people in the food truck. I ordered 20 carne asada tacos and I was expecting to wait a few but it took like 8 minutes. While quick service is a good thing it seemed like (and tasted like) it wasn't fresh. I saw the guy chopping up the meat on the side of the building on what didn't appear to be a cleaned area. I would of definitely preferred waiting longer for fresh tacos. Every time I drive by it's packed, so maybe they over prepped? I will give them another try on a busier night in the future. read more

Since we live about 2 blocks away, we decided why not and had a family late-night foodie call here. This is located right on the corner of Pacific and 24th; one of those everything is outside taco stands, with seating near the sidewalks... great for intersection car-watching...or people-in-cars at the intersection-watching. There's usually a line, and while the food was decent, I saw they had soda in glass bottles. Feeling nostalgic, I bought 5 for the family. A huge mistake! The bottles were $3 each; $20!! I could've went and got slurpees (they call them "power pops" here in Yuma) with cash left over for more food. Meh! You live and learn... Tacos El Jarocho; a nice to for a quick bite. So delicious! Came as a recommendation from a coworker and I'm so glad we stopped by on our drive to San Diego. I had the asada taco and the quesadilla (cheese only) and my boyfriend had the asada quesadilla and carnitas quesadilla. My only regret was not getting asada in the quesadilla. I honestly don't know how this place is considered the best place for tacos! First of all the cheese that they use for the quesadilla was really chalky tasting I only had two bites and was disgusted. The carne Saadi tacos were ok nothing spectacular. First and last time I come here and the inside of the establishment is really dirty and also next to the restrooms there's a empty room with what looks like broken bottles or trash . My food was just ok, but I hear that my experience isn't necessarily indicative of usual experience. My corn tortillas on my carne asada tacos were not toasted hardly at all and had that raw taste. My bean burrito didn't get grilled but for a second and I'm told that's what makes it good. They seemed a person down on the burrito station so even though we literally ordered those first, she kept taking other orders and making those, so she didn't even start those until after we'd gotten our tacos, gotten a soda, paid, and waited several minutes more. It was Friday night but it wasn't steady not crazy so I felt like that was crappy. I liked the taste of the meat, the beans, and the tomatillo and avocado salsas were delicious! We were stopped close by to pick up a load and I saw them on the corner. Honestly I wasn't expecting much by the outside appearance. I'm glad to say I was surprised. Now understand me when I say I don't speak the language. I get how to say water and that is about the extent of it. They didn't speak much English so we were on even ground. Thankfully I had help from another trucker who acted as a translator and I ended up with what I wanted. 3 chicken tacos with corn tortillas. The tacos were absolutely delicious. The meat was perfectly cooked and was not dry as can be found in some places. The tacos came with diced onions and cabbage. I detest lettuce and the cabbage was pleasant. They have 3 varieties of salsa, a red that is spicy, a green that was mild and an avocado sauce type. I loved all three. All in all I think this was the gem of my visit to Yuma. If I ever pick up here again I plant to stop for another bite. read more

This nighttime taco stand is always busy an hour after sunset. The place smells great with meats cooking when you walk up. All the seating is outside. There is activity behind the counter with people cutting meat and prepping. I ordered three carne asada tacos. She flour or corn tortilla and asked would I like cabbage and onions with cilantro. They are 1.75 each and were in my to go box in a minute. The guacamole and salsa and condiments are in a covered chilled metal cart. The salsas were good and they had limes. The guac was creamy and they had peeled cucumber that was cubed which turned out to be a great addition to the taco. The carne asada is juicy and finely chopped. read more
