They showed up in a mask, which was good, and did an amazing job with my carpets. They were very nice, very friendly, worked hard, and when they left my carpets looked like new and smelled great. I called less then 24 hours before I needed a spur of the moment carpet cleaning on some upholstery. They let me know they were running late from their earlier appointments so I didn't have to wait around unnecessarily. They worked until every single person on their team (and myself) was beyond satisfied that the work was done. I don't remember exactly what time, but I think they stayed until 7 pm at least. They even told me some care instructions after, and offered to come back if I noticed any other problems. Would definitely recommend these guys! read more

I had used Johns carpet cleaning before and If I had rated them on that performance it would be higher a good four star experience. However, we had an appt for 10:00 a.m. 4 hours later they finally showed up and that was after called twice and texted them. They told me on the phone that they had a plumbing emergency at home and were waiting for a repairman however they told my other half that they got home quite late from another job. That being said, a simple phone call or text telling us there would be a delay in arrival would have been huge. And of course to at least tell us both the same story. The carpets were clean, however there was residual cleaner left on my fireplace and floors as well which is quite slippery. read more

I have left a key for John and a note to what I needed done. I come home mid way through the job and he is doing exactly what I wanted done. I'm being generous with 2 stars. They called, but were 1 1/2 hours late. I don't know how what they did could be called steam cleaning. They sprayed all the carpet with something, then began to 'steam clean' it. They hooked up to our outside faucet and left it hooked up the entire time they cleaned, that's cold water. I've had others steam clean the carpet and you can hear the pressure release as they clean and see the steam. Not so with them. This was at best a cold water rinse of our carpet. Normally with steam cleaning the marks where furniture sat lifts up and disappears, not with them (again COLD water). They have a video online that shows steam as they clean, that is NOT what happened at our house. We had all the furniture out of the room except for a sofa and a speaker. They asked if they should move the sofa or just clean around it! They asked if they had to move the speaker and I told them yes (were they going to clean around it?) Without asking they pulled all the wires connected to it and carried it out of the room. The whole point of us not taking it out of the room was to leave the connections in place. They didn't have anything to set the legs of the sofa on after they cleaned. Normally the cleaner has Styrofoam blocks they set furniture on. They smelled like cigarette smoke and anywhere they walked in the house we could smell the cigarette smoke smell. Having someone smell like smoke clean my house is not my idea of clean. Then there was the water they left on the wood floor. No, I will not have them ever clean my carpet again. Luckily our carpets were not very dirty, just a few traffic patterns. read more
