We had just arrived at Talona Ridge RV Resort in Ellijay and set up. To our horror, the main slide on our travel trailer would not open. This has been a recurring problem which we have had to have fixed in various locations. It was around 5:30 in the evening. We asked for referrals from the office and they gave us Lennie Bishop's name. It was pretty doubtful that we could get anyone to come out that evening, but worth a try. Without hesitation, Lennie said he would turn around and come out to see us as soon as he could get there. Within an hour of the call, problem solved! He said he would be in the area the next day and would pull the slide in and reset the can so that it would not likely happen again. He did not charge for the second visit. None of the services we have used for this problem have ever shown this high degree of professionalism! Lennie and his wife Tianna are great people beyond being a great service. We stayed at an RV Resort in Ellijay Ga from 11/14-11/20. We had 2 pleasant experiences with Lennie Bishop and his son. Our camper is new to us and we found out on this trip what to and not to do. 1st time We locked our keys in the trailer, I reached out to the on site office and the gave me Lennie's card and they said he will get us in, that he did!! he finished up a call he was on and helped us out. 2 days later we had a rain storm early in the morning and the wind caught our awning and bent the arm to where it would not retract, he was there right away, secured the parts and repaired it the next day. Even communicated with our insurance company!! the claims adjuster knew Lennie and had nothing but good things to say about him and his sons. He does what he says hes going to do, is honest and fair on his pricing. He really likes what he does, keeps it simple and genuinely wants to help. We were packing up camp and we're almost ready to leave when the slide out on our RV got stuck. The entire day was spent trying to find an RV technician or having our insurance find one for us. Finally, we found Lennie Bishop around 7pm on a Sunday and he said he could come out to our camp (~45min away from his location) and help us with our issue. Lennie and his wife were phenomenal and was able to find a solution to close our RV so we could leave camp and get home. He was also able to provide a possible diagnosis to the slide out issue which will help us get it fixed with the manufacturer. Lennie Bishop came out to the RV resort we were staying at in Ellijay, GA. We arrived and found we were unable to pull out the bedroom slide in our 5th wheel. Mr. Bishop came out right away, got the slide out so we could use the bedroom, and ordered the needed parts for the repair. While we enjoyed out vacation, Mr. Bishop was out in a couple days and completed the repair.
