I just ordered from Bison again and it was a project that was originally done in 2013. They completely duplicated everything from the original artwork unto a slightly different package. The sound quality was as good as the original as well. The CDs arrived on time and working with them , from the initial contact to ordering and the payment process was done with complete professionalism. I want to give high praise to my contact person, Sandi, who worked me through the entire process of getting an older project from over 10 years ago back into a marketable format. Today is the second day Bisondisc has failed to ship my order when they promised to. My previous review was for 4 stars because they blew the first shipping date. Up to now, communication with this company had been good; all emails answered, phone calls taken. I was promised a ship today with a Fedex conformation and tracking number. It is 6:15pm - no email, no word from Bisondisc. A star will be removed. for every day they are late shipping my order. That's three more days until NO stars at which point I will drive to Orlando to get my order from them directly. read more

This company is an object lesson in how not to do customer service. And a strong validation of the practice of testing any new supplier with a small order before entrusting them with anything large and/or important. I tried them out with a small order that wasn't time sensitive -- had I used them for something critical it would have been a major disaster. I placed an order for some CD's and shipped them 2 discs, one being the fully authored music CD and the other a data disc containing the graphics files -- both clearly labeled with their contents and the order #. The Bisondisc web site states that for standard orders you can expect production to take 12 business days -- fine for this order. Tracking indicated that they received the materials 3 days later. They acknowledged receipt the following day and didn't indicate any difficulties. So, I sat back to wait out the 12 business days. When I didn't hear anything after 14 business days I enquired about status I was informed that they were awaiting the graphics files. I explained that they had already received them along with the audio two weeks earlier! The person on the phone grudgingly told me they'd go "have a look" and if the graphics disc was there they'd send me proofs in half an hour. They emailed me proofs 2 hours later. I examined and sent approval 1/2 hour after that. I never received an explanation as to why no one had noticed the second disc, labeled "GRAPHICS FILES", in the 2-disc cd holder or why they never contacted me when they (erroneously) thought these files were missing. At this point the order status on their web site still indicated only "Order created". A week later their web site still showed status as "Order created" so I emailed to inquire about status and received no reply. I phoned a week after that to discover their phone system no longer offered the option of reaching a live person... or even leaving a message! At this point I became concerned about ever receiving the order at all. (I've worked for business while they were in the process of going under and I know the warning signs.) I sent another email and this time received a reply stating that production would take 12 business days from the date they found the lost graphics files. Even though this day WAS in fact the 12th business day since then! No effort made to make up for what was entirely their own mistake. 17 business days after they "found" the graphics and 32 business days after they ACTUALLY received all materials I finally received notification from FedEx that the package was shipped. Yet even at this point their web site still showed status as only "Order created". (In fact, a week after receiving the finished discs this status still had not changed!) At no time in this process did Bisondisc ever try to make up for their mistakes or even offer an apology. They never even acknowledged that any mistakes were made at all, in spite of the production time extending a week beyond the "12 business days" they specified after admitting they had the graphics files (and in fact 31 business days from the time they really did receive the files). It was fortunate that this was a non-time-sensitive project. But their sloppy materials handling, cavalier attitude to their own mistakes and their abysmal communications (especially as they now won't allow you speak to an actual human or leave a phone message) makes this one business to give a wide berth. read more

I worked here as a designer for a brief period of time and can attest that they have some of the worst business practices I've ever seen. I was actively discouraged from bringing up any concerns with the customer about the readability of their artwork. As a direct quote from the owner "We really don't care" They charge $38 for extremely minor edits such as switching out premade graphics on templates or adding bleed. Things I can attest this takes all of 10 seconds. For reference, most designers don't charge that much PER HOUR of work. It's obvious they're taking advantage of people under time constraints. The work environment is downright toxic and owner treats the office manager like garbage despite the fact that she's doing the job of four people. She's one of the hardest working people I've ever met and deserves better. And to top it all off, they actively block the ip addresses of people they leave off on bad terms with to prevent them from leaving bad reviews on their website. Don't be fooled by the good reviews. I used Bison Disc for 3 projects. Their color matching was off on each one. On the final attempt I received a tester, we tried to make the B&W be true B&W, but it still ended up looking blueish with unprofessional replies when trying to rectify things, apparently it is the customers fault, which should never happen. Their color matching is poor. On the first project I did, the disc area was bigger so the CD did not fit snugly and moved around in transit resulting in numerous scuffy CD-R discs, with quite a few customer complaints and I did numerous replacements. Worst customer service I have ever received! Ordered 1000 CD's for Christmas gifts. They delayed my order multiple times. They got the order printed wrong when they final felt it was important enough to print my order. Asked to speak with the manager multiple times and the staff were so mean. Had to call 4 times to check on the order. Production time was promised to be 12 day then was delayed over and over again. Placed order on November 9th and picked it up on Dec 7th. 28 days for a 12 day order and when I picked it up the order was wrong. Had no time to get them to reprint it and they won't issue a refund. Use a different company please. Seriously. You will thank me! The entire staff is reflective of the management in their anger and unprofessional demeanor. Do not use this company for your printing needs. Please listen to this review. I have worked with lots of companies, yet none have been this bad. The price they quote you, doesnt even include the master disk, although you send the files the call for your credit card number before they burn the disk saying its 25$ to make the master. After that they said printing the song titles and Artist name on the disk was considered Graphic Design and wanted an additional 167$ not to mention it was 270$ for my order og 150 cds these people wasted my time and money. Bison disc was pretty awesome about getting a CD for my band out in short order! Fast shipping was a premium, but that goes with the territory!! The product was delivered on time, as advertized and looked and sounded great! Even better than they should've given some of the source material issues. This is by the worst business experience I have ever had. I am stunned by the way that the entire transaction (which took over a month) has went down. From the lack of experience in the "design department" which is one person, not an actual department, to the blatantly rude & inconsiderate John, to the lack of communication from the manager Sandy, to the "issues" with the ISRC vendor which they will admit no fault and do nothing to appease the fact that my project is now past due, to getting threatened to have my project cancelled after a month of dealing with them, I am just straight up disgusted. When I asked how his company plans to make it right John called and said "I think it's best if we go our separate ways. I've issued you a refund and we will cancel your order." (After over a month & 1/2, when I was quoted 12 business days!) I said "my project is now weeks past due and you want to cancel my order?' He said "yeah you are impossible to work with. I've heard all of your voicemails and read all of your demanding emails" I said I've called the manager Sandy once and left a perfectly pleasant voicemail." I said "how is it my problem as a customer that you're having issues with a vendor? As a business owner when your company can't hold up to what you promise then you need to make it right with your customer" he said "well when you show up to an airport and your plane is late, it's your problem not the airports problem!" I couldn't believe that he was talking to me like I'm an idiot. I'm amazed at how this company is actually in business & I am reporting them to the BBB. No paying customer deserves to be treated that way. If by "demanding emails" he means professional, pleasant and extremely patient then yes, I've been demanding. I paid you my hard earned money and I expect to receive my product in the amount of time that you quoted me. Then the nerve he has to threaten to cancel my order all together after I've been waiting all this time is just vengeful and unbelievable. I didn't get upset that the hurricane caused a week long power outage. Never even brought it up but I never got an apology for that either. When I reached out I got an email from John that said, "power out. Hurricane." Could he be any shorter or more unprofessional? And as for the ISRC codes which should've taken no more than 48 hours and instead took 2 weeks, all he had to do was simply apologize to me for the inconvenience in a sincere and professional manner and I would've been fine but now I'm just pissed off. Now I got my Cd's & the spine verbiage is upside down. You don't put a stack of cds in a record store on a shelf with the cover face down. The cover should be face up. The text is upside down. It looks ridiculous. The verbiage on the circumference of my disc is not evenly aligned with the curve of the disc. I inquired about it but they assured me that it would be fine. It's not. Do not spend your money at Bison Disc. I read the awful reviews before I hired them & I should've trusted my gut but I was trying to save a little. A huge red flag from the first conversation with John was when he kept interrupting me. And when I tried to clarify what services I was purchasing he snapped at me like I was being ridiculous for seeking clarification & told me that service was automatically included even though I told him I didn't see it on the quote. The customer service here does not exist. They do not care about the project that you pour your heart & soul into and they will become extremely defensive if you question them. They will not admit fault or apologize for their short-comings. Also, do not order the design services. Bonnie Youngblood sent me 2 very amateur looking drafts and then threatened to start charging me for additional drafts so I ultimately ended up having to design the whole thing myself but of course, still ended up paying them for it. This has been an EPIC disappointment and I implore you to seek another route, unless of course you enjoy headaches & being treated like an imbecile regardless of your patience. Do NOT, under any circumstances, use Bison Disc for your work! I had the WORST experience I have ever had working with a company and would NEVER use them or recommend them again. Their customer service is non-existent. They outsource their work to China (no American made here!) and they don't even come close to meeting deadlines (how about 3 weeks late? Oh, and if you ask why or what happened with your order or where it is, you won't get a response. They just won't answer your phone calls anymore (try from a different number and they'll stop answering that too). Forget email. No response. Take the time to read the negative reviews that are out there- I don't doubt they are all true. Then run far, far away and pick another company. Want details from my experience- keep reading. I placed an order for 100 flash drives - they were gifts to the 5th graders at our school from the PTO and contained a video of photos of all the students over the years. John told me that the order would take 7 days once in was received. I mailed the original to him and once he confirmed that he had received it, he sent me a link to make a payment. I paid $477 on my credit card. John also sent me the proof that day and I approved the one that I thought looked better. This was May 3rd. Then I have no idea what happened. I heard NOTHING from the company for the next 2 weeks. Then on May 15th, Katie, who I'd never dealt with, sent me an email asking me to approve a proof. It was the EXACT same one that John had sent me May 3rd. I once again confirmed which one I wanted. Katie informed me that I approved a "draft proof" and that the "REAL proof" takes more time. When I asked her about the 7 days that John had quoted me, she stated that USB's take 12-14 days from proof approval. I wanted the drives by May 22nd, but she told me that would never happen. Had they actually done the work starting May 3rd, I would have had them in time. But they didn't. When I mentioned using someone else, Katie and John both "guaranteed" me that I would have the order IN MY HANDS by May 30th. I was willing to believe them. What a mistake. May 21st I got another email from Katie asking what color I wanted the writing on the drives to be. I'd already approved (TWICE!) the writing in black. May 30th rolls around and of course, I haven't heard a peep from them. That was my mistake not to call them a few days in advance. When I get in touch with them on the 30th, Katie emails me that my order was shipped that morning and I would get a tracking number later in the day. This is where it gets ugly. I call to complain that they failed to meet their "Guarantee" and I want to know where my shipment is and when it will arrive. Katie has no tracking number and says she'll find out and get back to me. If they had overnighted the shipment, I would still be ok and could pass the drives out the last day of school. But I don't hear back from Katie until I get an email May 31st that has an invalid tracking number on it. Now when I try to call, Katie won't answer the phone. So I have an administrative assistant at the school call. Katie repeats the invalid number and after that won't take any calls from our school either. We try calling the main number to the company and are told that the internet is down and they'll get back to us when they can. Needless to say, no one gets back to us. I went back home and tried the "chat with us" button on their website and low and behold, they answer! But when I give my name, Bonnie tells me in a harshly worded response that "John has already informed you that our internet is down and he will contact you when it's back up." So now I'm out $477 with nothing to show for it. And not a single person at the company can explain to me what's been going on with my order since May 3rd. No one knows where it is or what happened to it. The company has essentially blocked my phone, my school's phone and doesn't answer any emails. They refuse to give me any answers, explanations, apologies or won't even acknowledge that they messed up somewhere. I know things happen. People make mistakes. But to not respond to a customer is ridiculous. I have never had such horrible customer service in my life. June 1st I still haven't heard from Bison despite repeated promises. They still won't answer my phone when I call again. The admin calls again. They still won't answer her either. We try the tracking number again and it finally shows up- our package is in CHINA!!!!!! I'm pretty sure that the quickest way from Florida to Illinois is NOT through China. So either they really screwed up, or they outsourced the job to China. The UPS info said the order shipped on 6/1 from Shenzhen, China. Now I'm furious. I can't have photos of kids somewhere in China where who knows what might happen to them. Had call from this place because of a online quote, explained my whole schedule and availability. Was promised 100 copies by the 26th with a lot of hoops to jump, reason I wanted to make sure, Ruth who took my order such a sweet person until the week before the dead line. It seemed more like a sales call than a company who provides the costumer service a costumer requires. Soon after out of frustration due that cd's were promised I get a 140 dollar extra fee to expedite, sure I agree and tell them I will make a review about the bad service, Sandy Cleeveley calls me telling me they will cancel my order because I said what seemed a "threat" to her. It's the 21st century, people make complaints for bad service, if you cant take it don't make fake promises. Never ordering anything from this place. Updated Review... I wrote a previous review around the same time that I contacted Bison Disc to inform them of my bad experience. I nicely explained how my expectations were not met, but have yet to get a response. As I stated in my previous review, my final cost drastically differed from my initial invoice, costs kept getting added, the order took almost two weeks to get straight and then to top it off, over 25% of my order was damaged. Although my salesperson was very nice, Bison Disc has shown horrible customer service and I will be sure never to use them in the future. A huge waste of time. Decided to go with Bison Disc because they had solid ratings online and they print as low as 50 copies(what I wanted at the time) and instantly a rep emails me. Sandi was helpful and hasty to respond to my emails through the entire process but once all of my material was submitted/uploaded and it came down to billing and production she dropped off the face of the Earth. I sent multiple emails to her for status updates on my order and never received word back from her or anyone else. This silent treatment lasted about 2 full weeks before I ultimately decided they weren't worth the time or headache to deal with. If yelp offered a 0 star rating, that's what Bison Disc would receive from me. read more

bison disc is the worst disc reproduction including artwork company, they don't send the deliveries to the right address and if you call them and tell them to correct the address they want to charge you extra. bison sent me a sample of the artwork, i approved it because it was satisfactory, but when i got the cover, it was terrible because the jacket showed a big white shadow right in the middle. when i called to complain, the treated me differently; rude and abrupt. they said it wasn't their problem anymore. the person, john cleveley, is the one that treated me rudely. he said it was personal and that bison had nothing to do with it. i asked them if they could compensate me with some cd's and they said no i do not recommend this busines to anyone they are, inept, irresponsible, no manners and inconsiderate with the clients. read more
