In the front door and to the right is Bistro One Ninety Queen's Gate and to the left is Bar 190. I've heard from a colleague that Bar 190 was good, but we turned right a few weeks ago to try the pre-theatre meal.
The food was very good and even a bit interesting and, significantly, the service was prompt and attentive. Made it to the West End in time, even by tube. The bill was £21.50 for two courses or £23.50 for three courses, and I viewed it as good value. Check the bill of fare at the street and expect the meal to be good to very good. Not a destination restaurant, but if you are attending a performance at the Royal Albert Hall and want dinner beforehand, this is the best place I know so far. read more
