I should have taken photos but I was too interested in devouring these little jewels. My partner ordered the Meat Jambalaya, he was blown away by the perfect seasoning, combination of the ingredients, Andouille sausage, smoked ham and chicken. He says he highly recommends this dish. Ordinarily, I go with the blackened fish of the day, but this visit I thought I would try Lou's Famous Fried Chicken. There is a reason it is "Famous". The chicken was juicy and tender, the coating was crisp and delicious. It came with a side of seasoned fries, delicious and tender. We desperately wanted the incredible Bananas Foster dessert but there was no way we could eat another bite, so we finished off with 2 BB King specialty coffees. You have to try one, if you go; delicious! Again, I forgot photos! Coffee, Bailey's and darned if I can remember the other ingredients. They are listed on the menu. All this to say that if you are visiting Montréal - this is a "Must visit" destination. So, while there is potential, the staff needs to have adequate numbers to handle the diners for the restaurant to get more stars. But don't give up, try it yourself when it's not a holiday, and come prepared to relax over a long meal with friends and family.
