The Venue, in comparison to anything I've experienced in my life, would be in the top 5 favorite venues, great layout, and phenomenal sound. Getting to see my favorite band of all time, In Flames was very close to a religious experience, being on the floor, everyone around me was singing every single word, lots of movement, stomping feet (wow) and a plethora of horns in the air. There is something I've experienced in this venue that I've not experienced anywhere in all my concert going, there are dedicated people who walk around with drink trays and a mobile debit machine, what great and game changing service (Toronto could learn a thing or two) Having a tiny complaint, the lighting for the back floors was not bright enough for the atmosphere, I thought it was my eyes, but it was not, as this area felt super dark all throughout the performance of all four bands. I really appreciate the care and diligence the staff put into making sure I was safe in Montreal especially since I was a solo female traveler. Parking was easier than other Montreal areas. There's a bar in the lobby of the building, where two tall, burly man served as bouncers. I didn't get anything to drink, but prices weren't cheap. It was 3.50$ of bottled water after all.
