    * Service: RUDE and condescending. * Ambience: outdoor and indoor. Tight seating * Hot chocolate: price ranges from €6.5 to €9.5 for one cup 4-6 fluid oz. of hot Chocolat. Having been to over 50 countries, I think the hot Chocolat is good but over priced. Oh, there were FRUIT FLIES in the store I don't think they like Americans. When asked to speak to the manager, it turned out that the owner of the place was the guy that was rude. There are many other places in town, why pay to get bad services?

I loved the place ! Their food is excellent and I loved to drink my hot chocolate and a soup bowl :) The atmosphere is very cosy. Nice and warm. The menu offers a lot of options and their brunch is just awesome. The place is often full so you'll probably have to wait a little bit in line before your get seated.

The place is quaint, decoration is nice. We ordered Café Au Lait, Capuchino, a Latte and a Hot Chocolate. All the coffees were okay, the chocolate was pretty good. The service was not so great. Prices are a bit more than average for Strasbourg.

The most incredible Hot Chocolate...the owner recommended the 63% Dark Cusco Chocolate (From Peru)...he explained that the cacao beans are grown at over 10,000' - and while it had a price tag of 9.5 euro - it was worth it! I have been waiting years to try the infamous French Chocolat Chaud...or hot chocolate, as I've read articles about its decadence over the last few years. It was served at the perfect temperature- and very thick, almost like pudding...topped with fresh whipped cream. It was everything I dreamed of! Merci!!

If you're looking for a cozy, relaxed ambiance for a bunch/dinner/supper it's a good place to good. It is near the Notre-Dame de Strasbourg Cathedral. I had a Vegan burger which was alright, wasn't great but it wasn't bad! The patates on the side were very very delicious!! The vegan hot dog was amazing also ! Would recommend for anyone vegan or not

Super sweet brunch like typical French breakfast, cozy place and near to the riverside, very friendly staff

I did not try a lot from menu, just crepes filled with mousse, but the taste was great! I think people who like sweets will find a lot of tasty things. Minus is that the place is quite small and tight but there are a lot of people.

We…read morehad seen a travel video introducing the city, and one of the restaurants recommended was Wawa. However, their selling point was an "American experience," and I didn't understand why we would go all the way to France for that, but sure, whatever they wanted. We ended up going, and of course, my expectations met. They served pretty overpriced "American" food, like hot dogs and burgers. I ended up getting the most basic hot dog and it was very mediocre. The hot dog was very pink and fake looking, and the taste was just so mediocre. I could definitely get a better hot dog from a street vendor or even Costco for way cheaper back at home. The drinks were okay. I got a mojito and it came in a cute jar. The decor of the place was pretty cool though. One of the seating areas has a bathtub as a sofa, which is fun. But really, overpriced, mediocre food. I really shouldn't have agreed to coming here.

Very eclectic, and for it worked. I was here at an odd time and the kitchen worked with me to have a couple of different tastes. One was a salad that had tastes I cannot describe. Since my French is very rusty and my Italian did no good I can only tell you that is was a feast for the eyes and had flavors mixed together that were unique. The base was an assortment of small tender leaves with shaved beets and feta. Yum! Then came the quiche, which was the best I have had. The crust was just delightful - it was delicate yet not intrusive to the dish itself. My fillings were pork belly and aubergine. This is truly a French place without feeling citified. Great service made this a very fun meal.

We navigated to Troc Cafe (yelped our way here) and though breakfast was finished, the quirky, warm ambience, and a pleasingly inexpensive and interesting lunch menu (written on a slate on the wall) greeted us and we decided immediately to stay. The ambience deserves a little call out - heterogenous chairs, plates and tables. Old movie posters, a retro weighing scale, spoons, pans, cane baskets etc. hanging from the ceiling. Now for the food: for starters we had salads - mine, lentils mixed with small bacon bits on a bed of pea leaves. My companion's was a cold ratatouille (crumbled) and feta, also on pea leaves. Both filling and different and for only €2.20 each! For mains we got a vegetarian quiche with goats cheese - the right size, perfectly balanced (not too 'eggy' as is sometimes the case), and a chicken leg with cous cous. The leg was roasted in a red pepper sauce, and the cous cous was delightfully spiced. We were spoken to in French (which we wanted to practice and were glad for it) and were not rushed at any point - service was really good with the two friendly-faced guys being attentive, neither overbearing nor negligent. I highly recommend visiting Troc Cafe!

You can also pay 24 euros for the entire day or 240 euros for the whole month. When you check in at the front counter, you get a card that keeps track of your time. Advice: students get 10% off and members (free of charge and requires filling out a simple form or sending an email) get 15% off for durations over two hours. The discount comes in handy if you stay the entire day. You can also print up to 10 pages for free and pay a small fee for each additional page afterward. The cafe is spacious with an upstairs conference room, two toilets, a variety of different seating arrangements, and plenty of space to find a spot to work. There are small lockers for storing your items if you decide to come in and out during the course of the day. You can even find board games and books to read! The owners and baristas are all very friendly and can answer any questions you may have. I've found this place to be a great spot to increase my productivity or simply to hang out with friends. I highly recommend checking this place out!
