I opted for an iced vanilla latte and it was delicious! Though they seemed to be understaffed, the staff worked really hard to make sure that everyone was served in a timely manner and it was definitely worth the small wait we had! Highly recommend! read more

Well worth 5 stars or more! I've visited 2 other locations of Bitty & Beau's in different States and have been impressed with all 3. Amazing customer service! Annapolis location is brand new, 3 weeks old. Manager Megan can't be any sweeter! Cute lil guy at the register. They give you a playing card when you place your order. Another cute lil guy calls your card out, Ace of Dimonds, at the other end of the counter. Delicious muffins and Chai Tea Latte. Looking forward to returning many more times to support! read more

It's more than just coffee, it's a story. Hiring individuals with intellectual disabilities, Bitty & Beaus helps provide a safe, friendly, warming environment to learn typical job skills, meet the community, and share knowledge on the 'best cup of coffee'. I ordered a Toasted Marshmallow coffee with skim milk. My calling card (the system they use for order # pick up) was the King of Hearts. When it was my turn, Mike-behind the counter had a great conversation with me about the King and Queen of Hearts. The level of personality of the workers is something you miss out on at big name grab-and-go coffee shops. It is a very home-like atmosphere. It was nice to hang out enjoying my coffee and warm muffin baked fresh! read more

This is a neat little coffee shop just off the waterfront in Old Town Annapolis. The coffee's as good as the service but what I truly like about this place is that it employs special needs people. That, if nothing else makes this place worth taking your business to. They aren't all just standing around either, they actually do work. It says a lot about a business willing to do that and not just pay lip service to the idea of it. We typically come here after a meal at the Choptank and a stroll along the waterfront. read more

Bitty and Beau's was a wonderful stop during a work trip in Annapolis. It's centrally located in a tourist district, but as soon as you walk in, you feel like you're at home. Seating was available at the coffee bar and there were several souvenirs that one could peruse while waiting for coffee. I ordered a latte with sugar-free vanilla syrup (I try to cut the sugar where I can), and it was quite tasty. I've already suggested this place to a friend! Would definitely come back. Great coffee and lemonade in a setting that has great energy for people of all abilities. When I ordered the staff were warm and asked informed questions to get my latte just-right. We were there on a bright, hot August day, so we also had a lemonade smoothie that was almost like lemon meringue pie- a great treat. Indoor seating is available, with a bit outside, but it's right on the water so we opted to carry out, with some great T shirts (got a 3x for a friend, which was a win) and a pound of roasted coffee beans. This is my new favorite coffee spot, and we will be here when the legislature cranks back up! read more

The coffee is amazing and this is coming from a person who really doesn't like coffee (I only drink it for its "health" benefits hahaha). It's not too strong but it's just right. I got my latte with oat milk and brown sugar cinnamon. So good! The chai lattes are amazing as well! read more

I came in on a Sunday around 3:45- granted while waiting in a line with one customer in front of me- I found out they close at 4. I ordered a black decaf coffee and a mocha latte. Regardless of the time and the recognition this place clearly has plastered outside, This doesn't excuse the cashiers rude attitude toward the customers in front of me and the ones that entered right before 4. The front fire remained opened till 4:15. My issue was the order was done wrong and when I pointed it out the associate was annoyed. Also the cashier was rude to the customer in front of me and those that entered right before closing time. She was conversing with the other associates that we close at 4, where everyone sitting can hear her. As the customers approached the cashier she said we are closed- even though it wasn't 4 yet and then the customer must have said something I don't hear and the cashier responded "you can come back tomorrow or the day after bye" and turned around and said " I'm done today" to which her coworker wanted to give her a high five. Who I assume was the manager just stood around while this happened and then asked the third employee to start cleaning out the machine. As a person who is a coffee lover I don't care HOW good your coffee is- which in this case is ok. It doesn't warrant the rude attitude toward the customers that were present or those that came in before or after closing ( the front door was still open). It's not a spot I would visit again or recommend. read more

Found this cool coffee shop while strolling around Anapolis. I got a very solid cold brew with oat milk. It was strong but smooth. The man who greeted me was cheerful and energetic. The staff were all well masked and the customers were, too. They appear to have a cool back story related to hiring scores of people with disabilities as staff. Pretty cool! This place is just a two minute walk away from where I was staying at during the weekend. The servers are all full of joy and passion for their work. Their beverages are also satisfying. I ordered their cappuccino on one day and their latte the next day. All customers here seem to have a good time. I would come here regularly if I lived here. read more

We wandered in to this coffee shop not knowing it employed special needs citizens of this city. So it was very heart warming when we learned of the special mission of this coffee shop. We had a wonderful conversation with the manager and one of the employee while waiting for our drinks. The coffees tasted exceptional and were fairly priced. The coffee here is fabulous. Pair that with their mission, and it's a win all around. Both times I've stopped in service has been friendly and efficient. I also had a muffin that hit the spot and was moist. The facility looks nicer than when Starbucks was in this building. After a very sweaty August afternoon exploring the Main Street in Annapolis, my friend and I were desperate for some AC and iced beverages. We thankfully forged past a Starbucks, because I had seen Bitty & Beau's earlier in the day (no hate to Starbucks, but I love trying local options). This coffee shop (originally started in NC, according to their website and now operating 23 shops) employs people with various intellectual and developmental disabilities, which was so cool! They have a special system for calling drinks: instead of taking your name (which is frankly painful at any coffee shop), you get a playing card and then they call your card at the bar. So much easier! I was the Queen of Diamonds and my friend got the King of Clubs. She ordered an iced latte and I got an iced chai latte. Both were made super quickly and were delicious! Our cups even came with little inspirational messages, which was so cute! They have a good amount of seating and the vibes inside were lovely. They also have a ton of merch like t-shirts and stuff, which all looked awesome. It made me wish I lived closer to a Bitty & Beau's, but I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Annapolis! read more

The real reason we were here was for the coffee. My unsweetened oat milk latte and my husbands iced latte were both delicious. We are picky about coffee as we travel a lot and get coffee everywhere! The bonus was the staff. They are so warm and sweet and helpful and totally filled our love bucket! They even wrote a nice message on the bag for us. Apparently this place hires folks with disabilities and that just really adds to the charm and the good feels !!! read more

There's "Coffee should be something special" painted boldly on the exterior and some trees to provide shade for outdoor seating. POUR OVER - MKT PRICE I got the Colombia Los Pinos (Washed) which has grapefruit, dark chocolate, and creamy tasting notes for 6.75. I really enjoyed it, as it was fruity and not overly citrusy with a bit of bitterness. Each pour over comes with about 12 oz in a glass carafe that you can poor into a ceramic cup to enjoy. I loved this pour over and would recommend drinking it in the cafe to avoid getting that unpleasant waxy taste from the paper cups. Overall, great coffee shop to spend time in with good coffee. Ceremony is definitely one of my favorite roasters in the DMV, and I try to make time to stop by whenever I'm near one.
