Great coffee shop on Pearl Street with an awesome mission. Everyone gets welcomed when you walk in. My afternoon latte was delicious. And they have a lot of comfortable seats to sit with a friend or do some work.

Second time visiting a Bitty & Beau's, my first time being in Savannah GA. And it never disappoints. The service is just amazing and I got to buy some merch this time! I had a half sweet oat milk latte with their spiced brown syrup and it was made just right, not too sweet. The atmosphere is super friendly and warm. If you're in the Boulder area please check it out. Their mission and vision for the coffee shop is truly what life is all about and they are helping to change our world one latte at a time.

    They even cater!

I had no clue that Bitty & Beau's Coffee shop was a chain. There appear to be 11 locations in the U.S. including this Boulder one I visited last week. If you visit their website under "Our Story", this is what you'll read, "Bitty & Beau's Coffee is a human rights movement disguised as a coffee shop, where people with intellectual & developmental disabilities are valued in the workplace. It's a place where diversity isn't just appreciated, it's celebrated. Bitty & Beau's Coffee proudly employs 400+ individuals with disabilities nationwide." How cool is that? The Boulder location is conveniently located just off Pearl Street on 15th. It's spacious and clean. Once you are inside, you know you'll be accepted as a unique human being so just show off your colorfulness, uniqueness, and order away. Its merch section to the right is quite the size. The drink menu is a good size and yet not super extensive. Their pastry selection is also a good size; sweets and savory, I mean you name it. You can grab a table or get a seat at the bar and interact with one of the workers (during our visit last Sunday, we saw three individuals at the bar talking about their favorite movies. It appeared to be a friendly discussion where one of the baristas occasionally joined them to say something.) Each time a customer entered the shop, Kristin's voice (one of the workers with disability) echoed throughout the store. Her cheerful "Welcome" must have soothed just about anybody's soul. She even writes heartwarming messages on people's drink cups; what she wrote on our cups were, "You are a star" and "We love you". Thanks for the love, Kristin! Like I said, this is a chain and yet it's MORE than a chain. Inside the store, they embrace differences the workers and the customers bring inside and celebrate them. Like the store's motto decaled on the wall, "They are changing the way people see other people". It was so nice to have a coffee shop like this within my reach. Now my question is, "Will they open a location in the Denver metro area?" That'd be nice as Boulder is a bit of a drive from my house in south Denver. But hey, for a great business like this, I'll do the drive!

Very delicious coffee and they let me take my dog inside and treated him to a pup cup!! Will definitely be back. The ambiance is warm and inviting!!

Overall: just talking coffee/drinks this place is already a cut above. Add in their mission story and you have a coffee shop that's intentional about how they treat their customers, with care and love. Coffee: the matcha latte with lavender is obviously better than the Starbies version but it really accentuates the lavender flavor to transport you. Especially with how nature-y Boulder is, you feel like you're in the meadows by the Flatirons. Service: done with love and care. I don't know how to explain just how hard the staff try to connect with you. If you are just coming for a grab n go then you'll at least leave with a smile on your face. Ambience/Decor: retro vibes situated just off Pearl street makes this a very tidy location to stop by!

My first time at a Bitty & Beau's and I love their story. Their coffee was also delicious and promptly made. All of the employees were super friendly and the home pin wall is a nice touch. Lots of seating available and we loved the window seats. We also loved the puzzles available and I think all coffee shops should have puzzles!!

Everything about Bitty & Beau's is amazing. The cause, vibe, drinks, food, ambiance, all of it!! We were planning on taking our drinks to go but ended up trying a cinnamon roll because they're our fave. My bf said theirs was the best he's ever had!!! Will absolutely come back

New coffee shop on Pearl in a very convenient location in front of the 15th and Pearl garage. The drinks were good and my blended hot chocolate was thick and really great and it was made with oat milk and had no consistency issues. They had a puzzle we worked on and the rice crispy treat was pretty good. Service was friendly and it's very spacious.

    The pastries!!

We went a few days after their grand opening. We were greeted by friendly baristas and enjoyed some really good coffee, a cinnamon roll and a lemon-cranberry muffin. Hot coffee and warm yummy pastries. This business employees adults with disabilities, a wonderful cause so go in an support them! We will be back for sure! Great addition to Boulder CO!

I usually receive great food and customer service , but today was different!!…read more I experienced horrible customer service from a blonde curly headed girl with butterfly tattoos in the afternoon shift, she seemed to see us walk in and gave us a rude look, and her co worker whom was very nice attended us immediately and helped out with some questions! Although when it came my order she ignored me and was what felt discriminating and aggressive against (colored gay person) even though she didn't seem to have an issue with the white man behind me. (which is the reason why she even serviced me to begin with) because the person I introduced the store to was attended by the young man and I was serviced by the girl I am very disappointed as i've been attending to this establishment since it opened!!!! Personally I love this store so much and I like to take people there since the owners are very friendly and welcoming but i never want to experience this again or have anyone else feel uncomfortable!!!!!

Went to the counter to ask for a reimbursement (drank only a few sips). They said no. They were willing to make me another smoothie but here's the thing: the smoothie is majority water/ice. I wouldn't want to pay 11$ for a flavorless slushee (but I already had). I asked if I could have some chips instead, again they said no. Oh, and their POS is set on default 15% tip but there is no FOH service. Tipping is for a job well done, not paid in advance. Did they mess up my smoothie because I didn't tip in advance??.

We tried a lot of things on the menu and liked each dish. But our absolute favorites were the kimchi sweet potato fries (this was a crowd favorite dish and we're still dreaming about it), ginger chili potstickers (so good!), and the hot fudge cake with ice cream for dessert (melt in your mouth warm chocolate cake with ice cream, it was 10 out of 10). We also enjoyed the butternut penne, everything crunch salad, and butternut squash arancini which were all delicious. Also, the bread deserves its own shout out - very soft and warm, and still rich in flavor. Easily the best bread I've had in a long time. Service was great with a friendly and attentive staff. Ambiance was warm, inviting, cozy and sophisticated. Would definitely recommend stopping here to anyone!!

I've been here many times in a variety of ways--sat at the bar, at tables with friends and by myself, both inside and outside, and even experienced the large farm table prix fixe menu, which was fantastic. My experiences have consistently been great--the food, service, and atmosphere have always been top-notch. Tonight, however, was my first disappointing visit. I ordered the root vegetable bruschetta, which was very good. I also ordered the butternut squash penne pasta, a dish I've had before and really enjoyed. Unfortunately, this time it was extremely spicy. I'm not sure if the recipe has changed or if it was just a heavy hand in the kitchen, but it was not something I could eat. I mentioned it to the waiter, who didn't have an answer, so I simply asked for a to-go container. Since I couldn't eat it, I later gave the container to a homeless woman sitting nearby with her grocery cart. On my way out, I spoke with someone at the door who brought over the manager. The manager asked if he could see the dish, so I opened the container for him. He then asked if he could taste it and reached in, picked up a noodle, and tried it, saying he didn't notice anything unusual. He also wasn't aware of any changes to the recipe. I suggested that if the dish is now spicy, it might be helpful to note that on the menu so guests know what to expect. What left me disappointed wasn't just the dish itself, but how the situation was handled. There wasn't an offer to replace the meal or provide an alternative, which would have gone a long way. As someone who is only about six months into living in Colorado and a new business owner in the area, I often refer places I believe in. Tonight left me questioning whether I will continue to recommend Leaf based on how this was handled, though I'm hopeful that by tomorrow morning I may feel differently. That said, based on my many past positive experiences, I still believe Leaf is a great restaurant. I just hope this was an off night and that a little more attention is given to both consistency in the kitchen and how concerns are handled moving forward.

I have to admit, this store favorite is a bit of a mess right now with a large remodel underway…read more But please know, many longtime staff members are keeping track for you to help find what you feel has gotten loss. Some items are now where they should as have been, like peanut butter is now next to jam and jelly jars rather than applesauce and baby disposable diapers! Who ever thought up that choice? But now all the chicken is in sealed packages rather than the fresh case. The staff has offered to open a package to sell only a smaller amount but I wonder how likely they will have time for this? A loss for me as I only buy for two people most of the time. Another change is that the olive bar is stand alone and no longer dished out into containers to grab and go. Much more chance of contamination from a different item from another bin. I still prefer this store for many things though both of the smaller Whole Foods location have a usefulness too. The previous in store location of Birdcall is now gone the the free standing location at Twenty Ninth Street Mall is still open and has seating a parking better than when it served here. It's nice to see staff members still working here for 20 years but also nice that some turnover happens for new energy too. When the remodel is done I will be back with pictures and an evaluation from a shopper's point of view.
