When he finished, I informed him that I wanted to continue using my old monitor along with the new one. He told me he would need an adaptor, which he didn't have with him, and that he would return the next day with it to complete the setup. He said he would call the next morning I had planned to ask a couple of questions but I thought it could wait until he returned the next day. I paid him and asked about a receipt. He said he would email an invoice. That was the last I saw or heard from him, even after emailing him that he'd left his phone repair kit here. I realized he had come to South Jersey from Philly, so I paid what he asked and I actually tipped him $25, and planned to give him whatever he would charge for the second trip. I really didn't want to give him such an low rate, however, I feel that he didn't complete the job and wasn't completely honest about it.

I called Pensive and Chris fit us in right away - he quickly identified the problems (and there were many), worked to get us a temp fix and then came back a few days later to install new wiring, and set up a mesh system that actually works! Chris is not only great at what he does, he's friendly, takes the time to explain what he did (so that I can do my best to maintain it), gave me tons of advice, "future-proofed" the installation in case I wanted to switch to fiber optic and was incredibly patient with my dogs who loved him and wanted to "help."
