It's at least a 3. I like the selection but they seem a little disorganized. Not too bad but we got thrown off a couple times searching. They might consider only putting a couple copies of a book on the shelves. In some cases, they had over 5 of the same book on the shelves which takes up a lot of space yet they had piles of books on the floor. read more

So, used to be a 5 star place. I loved coming here and exploring titles. And they used to be reasonably priced for a used book l/condition of them. But idk what happened, I went recently and they are pricing some of the books as the same price Amazon sales them for brand new. Kinda defeats the purpose of a used book store. Makes me sad if this is the new normal for them. read more

I love this little shop, and make sure to get in there each time that I am in town to see my daughter. There are books, books and more books!!! Oh, and record albums and VHS tapes as well. It is so much fun letting time get away from yourself by looking through aisles and aisles of books. There is even an entire room (okay, maybe it is a closet) of all Young Adult books such as Harry Potter. Prices here are reasonable, and there is a bit of parking on the east side of the building (in the back). read more

Some kind of magic exists here because I always find the book I'm looking for! I was especially excited about the boxed set of Series of Unfortunate Events that the staff found for me as well as a tiny record player repair part that I desperately needed. The kids book selection is perfectly stocked with quality books and it's surprisingly well organized considering how thin picture books are and how cute kids like to pull them off the shelf. The vibe is great and the staff is delightful. It's my favorite book store in northern colorado. read more

Fun retail store located on College, Literally across from the college. This is a "used" store that resells your stuff after you sell it to them. There are three large rooms. One has used mostly vintage stereo equipment, 45 rpm records and the stereo repair store. The middle is wall to wall tall bookshelves full of used books. The last room has thousands of used full length albums on vinyl from current to the last seven decades. This room also has more books, magazines, posters and DVD/Blu-ray all of. Purse used too. Owners and staff are nice. I don't recommend going during peak hours as it's a little cramped and it's hard to search through the isles while busy. Fun place, I was lucky enough to find one 12" and two 7"s of indie rock stuff from the early 2000's I didn't have. read more

Solid resell outlet located on College Ave right next to the old IHOP A-Frame. I recently dragged about 50 lbs of books and CD's here. The store has 3 sections, roughly books, albums/CDs, and old stereo/cashier. It's an interesting place - something interesting everywhere you look. I only wish there was a bit more of a spread between the cash value and the in store credit value (33 vs 35), but you can put your unwanted items in front of the store, like a community library. I did use my credit to buy some DVD's (Big Lebowski, to tie my collection together, lol). So give BizBaz a try! read more

Worth a Visit-- dig thru the FREEBIES outside- free books and Free Vinyl-- so you never know what you might find for FREE! I have found a couple good finds outside. Inside there is usually some $3-$5 vinyl all the way to unique special finds! The shop continues to evolve-- there is anything and everything, old maps, old magazines, CDs, Cassettes, books, -- wow- go in and take your time! I could walk around this place for hours (and I have)! Such a great selection of CDs, DVDs, Books, and Records. They have a donations section set aside where many items are free for people to take if they would like them. I sold some books here and the staff members were incredibly nice and attentive. I felt like I got a good value for what I brought in too and then I was able to donate what they didn't take. I would definitely recommend going here to sell your items and/or to find fun new items to take home! read more

This place is a diamond in the rough. I could have browsed literally for hours! It somewhat reminds me of Half Price Books. Bought several books that looked new. One was on Amazon for $25. I snagged it for $7! There's also many, many children's books in great condition. If you're a book store junkie, this bookstore will delight you! read more

This is one of the best CURATED used-vinyl places I've seen, and you'll see post-its on most of the records trying to make the case for why they're rare or a big deal (with discs in many cases kept behind the counter). But alas, that can be a double-edged sword and the pricing lately falls victim to the love-the-merchandise-too-much syndrome, even though there's always a price guide or authority site like Discogs to try to rationalize that. On my spectrum scale of 1-10 (1=museum, 10=almost a thrift store), I'd rate this place a 4. I've seen much worse, like Sound+Vision in Salt Lake City, but I'd still rank it pricier than, say, Wax Trax in Denver and about on a level with Twist & Shout there, if not slightly higher. And I'll be the first to admit that if ever I tried opening a b&m store with my own collection at the core, I'd fall victim to the same syndrome. Do note that that applies to used and collectible vinyl...there's also lots of "tonnage" with the bargain books, vinyl and CDs and you can always rummage through all that. Colorado in general is really getting mined out as far as demand exceeding supply on collectible used vinyl, but I think they've gotten slightly ahead of their skis here. But if there's some vinyl "magical-unicorn" you've been looking for all your life (I found mine in 1985), it might stick around long enough for you to grab it here if you don't mind paying a few extra bucks. read more

Amazing, fabulous used bookstore filled to the brim with all the books you might have in mind. Their philosophy section is substantial, and they have great cultural studies, psychology, and contemplative studies sections as well. I would say this bookstore is very good for college students because it has a lot of books you might be assigned to read in their academic classes. You could probably spend an hour in here if you really wanted to look through everything. The people there are really cool and will just leave you to enjoy and investigate all you want. read more

I really enjoy this place. It is the best option for music shopping in the northwest since The Finest CDs & Tapes went out of business. I agree that their prices are too closely in line with online auction sold prices, but the owners seem like good people & need to make money to keep their business afloat. I asked them to work with me on the prices of a few records I wanted, & they were more than amicable to hook me up with a more reasonable offer. "I'd rather you walk out of the doors happy, with something you want, & come back again & again, than let some record sit on the shelf forever until a repress drives the value down," they essentially said to me. That is exactly the right attitude these shops need to have: Work with me. You'll have a customer for life. Price your records impossibly high and don't budge, & I'll get turned off and never come back (Ahem. *Cough Cough* Recycled Records). read more

This place is Quirky with a capital Q, in a good way. I brought in some books to sell (for cash! Seems like nobody does that anymore) and enjoyed browsing the book, turntable, and record selection. There's a model X-wing hanging above the cash register and an old juke box surrounded by piles and piles of interesting stuff. I made $8 and found a book I wanted. They can donate the books they don't buy to Habitat. Parking in the back. read more

This is a great store. Vinyl LPs are reasonably priced according to market value and condition. The staff is friendly, even while very busy. The bins are reasonably well organized, but sometimes the search is part of the fun. Atmosphere is good for contemplation during your search. I will continue to do business and recommend this store. read more
