forgot / left my son in the van while she went in Target & starbucks then when i came to pick the kids up she tells me "i felt so bad he was late to school today" not that she had left them in the van while she makes a target run because she forgot to drop him off ! i ended up having to hear that from my son & a third party . huge red flag INSPITE of the CONTRACT signed at start of care , SHE DOESNT ALLOW the older children to bring phones ! she allowed my son to bring his phone until she realized it worked. I was on ft w. him one day & she came in to make him do something , he puts the phone down & somehow the facetime ended but was working fine when she wasn't in the room. She wanted me to have to contact HER anytime i wanted to speak / hear from my 9 year old. ( If there was something going on what kid is going to feel comfortable saying it i infront of the adults ) i mentioned the contract stating kids may bring electronics & she said "a phone isn't an electronic it's a phone" so i asked ok why can't he bring his phone because that goes against the contract she said "oh we just don't do phones here" if you want make your rules up as you go along & tell kids / parents phone aren't allowed & contact HAS to go through you then you need to contact me EVERYTIME my son says to contact me ! Example , my son asked if they can ask me if i can bring him some food , i didn't hear anything about it until my son came home hungry asking why i didn't bring him food . she doesn't let you INSIDE THE FACILITY , & still uses covid as an excuse have to take a covid test even infants every week sometimes late picking the children up from Highland . violates her own contract but when asked about certain things her response is always "refer to the contract" when majority of the time she doesn't even abide by HER contract takes off EVERY holiday ( federal , state , city holidays ) & a couple WEEKS off for vacay & any other day she feels for ex ( was closed 2 days for LABOR DAY 7/1/23 & 7/4/23 , closed 11.10 (FRIDAY) for VERTERANS DAY even though veterans day is on the 11th , a SATURDAY , closed 11/22-11/24 3 days for Thanksgiving when single parents like myself still have to work so i was ALWAYS needing to find a plan be for daycare ( will attach photos ) "recommended" we bring the bigger kids lunch during the summer so she didn't have to feed them 9 year old son hadn't been there (because he doesn't like being there ) in over a month & she was still requesting payment claims she's a 24-hour facility on paper but doesn't do evenings or weekends(will attach photos of texts) and claims "no availability" as an excuse. If your not available hire some help that is because you ARE A 24-hour daycare ! contract states school aged children who receive before school care (pick up and drop off) would have breakfast & my son has yet to get breakfast before she drops him off to school . Most daycare are 6a - 6p , but at 5:31 she'll text "your kids are still here" (will attach photos) & charging late fee's when how am i late if you're 24/7 ? read more

I have always said that I wouldn't trust anyone but Mrs Sonya with my children. She is truly one of a kind. Bizzy Bee Daycare goes above and beyond to make sure that your child(ren) have the best experience while providing them with top notch care. No child is too young, she actually started watching my little brother when he was weeks old. For children that's younger than TK, she has an actual classroom set up so that they can get a head start before head start. The classroom is also utilized when school age kids are picked up or dropped off and have to do their homework. The playground is safely upgraded and the children loves it. Menus are provided so you will know what your child is being served. If your child requires special needs, along with the child's parents a plan will be created for the child to make them as safely comfortable as possible. If you live in the Inglewood area I would highly recommend stopping by and giving them a try for your daycare needs, you will not regret it. I took my son here nervous cause he was non verbal and has autism. but with help of Sonia he was able to potty trained, talk and voice his wants and needs and know his surroundings with other peers . now look at my kid always talking and helping and promoting to 1st grade definitely recommend you won't regret it ! read more

Per a negative review posted 2 months ago, I would like to say Bizzy Bee Daycare is a QUALITY day care service. I myself have attended the daycare in my youth and now my children are enrolled. It is unfortunate that lies are being spread due to a bitter parent. Every break taken is in compliance with the same breaks given in primary school. Additionally, there are people working here who have other obligations just as the parents. They are providing top notch services to these children and in fact deserve time off just like anyone else. Again, it is quite unfortunate that there are false claims being made to such a great company, especially knowing how hard it is to find quality child care. For anyone reading, I encourage you to see the daycare for yourself before believing false claims made by someone who was terminated for their own lies and incompetence and now holds a grudge. read more

As a first time mom I naturally had big emotions about sending my son to daycare. I had been a stay at home mom for all of 2 years and separating from my son was gonna be difficult. When i interviewed Ms Sonia, she did not miss a beat!! She was not intimidated by my questions. She happily provided information to ease my concerns. She even made accommodations for me; like storing my milk of choice lol ...yeah. I'm that mom :) So it's a big deal for me when I'm sure the caregiver and I have a mutual understanding. She was available for questions and with much empathy for my concerns would often send pictures and updates. I am and will continue to be grateful for the nurturing and safe environment Bizzy Bee provided for my son. If I had a choice- my son would stay with Bizzy Bee Daycare until 5th grade haha. !!! WE LOVE BIZZY BEE DAYCARE! There are 3 key words here that are priceless to my husband and I when it comes to our children--PEACE OF MIND--and that's what Bizzy Bee has given us over the years. This is not a babysitting service where children watch TV all day. Bizzy Bee is a dedicated learning center. (Warning: this is a long review designed for protective parents (like me) who are horrified by the idea of leaving their child/children with strangers.) I started with them 9 years ago when I was pregnant with my first child. I was so worried about having to send my newborn to a daycare when it was time for me to go back to work. By the grace of God, a young lady I knew recommended Bizzy Bee daycare because her family had been using them for years. While I was still pregnant, my husband and I paid Bizzy Bee a visit. We were immediately impressed by the clean smell that hit us as we walked in the door. Additionally, we loved that she has security cameras and you have to buzzed into the gate to even enter the daycare. Ms. Sonia did an amazing job of soothing all of our fears, and our daughter started at 8 weeks old. I loved how the newborn babies were segregated from the general daycare. I was a worry wart and they graciously accepted all 5 of my phone calls each day when I called to check on my little one. Those phone calls only lasted about a week or so because I was quickly able to realize that my baby was in great hands. She was always clean, fed and smelling baby fresh when I picked her up in the evenings. Fast forward to 2017, and Bizzy Bee has been the only daycare for all 4 of our children. Ms. Sonia and Ms. Joan (my kids' second mom) have loved and nurtured our babies soooooo much over the years. There have been so many days when I go to pick up my babies and they would rather stay with Ms. Joan which is the best sign that any parent could ask for in a daycare. It's a loving learning environment that fosters the social development of each individual child. People often tell me that my toddlers are so smart, and I always say that I cannot take the credit-- it's their daycare. Each of my children have left daycare for school knowing all of their letters, numbers, colors, shapes (including octagons and hexagons), days of the week, and so much more. They can read their own names and the names of all of the other daycare children. When my oldest daughter was about 3, Ms. Sonia bought her a set of reading books and started teaching her to read. Last year, I had just started a new job and I couldn't miss work to throw my son a party at daycare. Ms. Sonia sent me a text and asked if it was okay for her to get a cake for his bday. She had a celebration for him while I was at work and sent me a picture (photo attached). This brought tears to my eyes because I didn't have to feel guilty about not making his day special. During school holidays, I send my older children and they still love it because Ms. Sonia is a pro at finding great ways to engage the older children. My oldest daughter loves the baking lessons with Ms. Sonia, and she takes them on the best field trips (book stores, kite flying, LA Sparks games, Discovery Cube, water parks, swimming lessons, museums, and much more). These are just a few of the priceless moments that Bizzy Bee has created for my family. Last thing--my children and I drove by the daycare a few days ago. My 3 year old yells "There's my daycare." My 5 year old says "That's not your daycare anymore. You go to big boy school now." My 3 year old responds "That is my daycare. I miss them and Ms. Joan's house is my best school ever!" Then my 8 year old chimed in on how much she loves going to the daycare as well. If you can't tell, my family and I love Bizzy Bee daycare very much and we consider them family. I love Bizzy Bee Daycare. My daughter only attended Bizzy Bee for a short amount of time due to us relocating but she gained so much from being there.
