I'd highly recommend getting there, as soon as they open, in the morning hours, because the morning will be less busy, plus less windy. Afternoon hours are prone to maybe more sunburn, especially if you buy the hourly package. But, if it's maybe your first time on a Jetski, thirty minute packages will be barely enough time to get completely used to the gas throttles, & gear handles. You might see some sealife, out there, like manatees, which is a surprising added bonus ! I'd recommend, bringing with you a Hero Video Camera, or another Hands- Free Photo Device, in order to capture proper photos/ videos safely while simultaneously steering the Jetski. Because, Booyah does not offer professional photo ops, included in their packages. Summing up, Jetski Guides: Neo & Luke were over the top, giving helpful suggestions, friendly, professional, patient & attentive! Booyah Watersports is a brief hop, skip, over the sand from the Boardwalk, close to Miami-Fountainebleau's beach access gate. The Avalon boat was exactly like the pictures on the website and there was room enough for all 10 of us on board. Bring an iPod and a charger so you can DJ your own music and there was a cooler on board to store drinks etc. One of our friends kinda had some trouble swimming back to the boat due to the strong current and umm his current state and Captain Gabriel jumped in the water with a life jacket and saved him. :-) At the end of our rental, he even dropped us off at the Icon dock vs having to go all the way back to South Beach, very convenient! Would definitely sail with them again! This is NOT the same company as Miami Watersports that is panned on Yelp...we were a little worried when we read those reviews but it worked out great since it's a different company.

The captain that was there was nice and a good captain, the only thing I didn't like was that when the trip was over he got off the boat and started telling people I slapped my husband for looking at other women. Let's start off by saying that is completely false and secondarily where is the professionalism? The lady who was assisting the captain was a little rude. She continued to turn down the music, even during the father daughter dance completely ruining the moment. The captain would allow us to turn up the music and next thing you know she would come and turn it right back down. We retried the father daughter dance three times because she continued to turn off the music. She would not allow me to set up the food and drinks as I felt most comfortable, of course within what they allowed. Seems to me she has a superiority complex, and wants to be in control. Beware they state there is enough bottled water, but there is most definitely not enough water for 45 passengers. So if you decide to hire them, understand they will not have enough water and soda for you. We didn't even have 45 passengers on board, imagine had we actually had the 45 passengers we were allowed. Everyone would've gone thirsty. The trash would be overflowing, and they would not come and change it. Lastly, Kira is as good as a door knob. She is as generic as it can be. Offers zero help or information. Zero guidance. If you message her you'll received a response from her three days later, if that. The day of the event she is completely useless. Will not answer your calls or text messages. If you are having a party they only allow you to come on board 15 minutes prior to set up. That's not reasonable at all. Kira told me as a courtesy she could allow me 30 minutes instead of 15. Still definitely not enough time. so sure they want you to use them as a party service, but they don't want you to be a nuisance because of the party. Kira and the captain made it seem like it was such an inconvenience for us to do light decorating. But again, they want you to use their service to do your parties. They want their cake and eat it too. I received several quotes from different boat rental companies. I picked aqua party because of the amenities they stated they offered, although they were the only company who did not offer food or snacks. The large floats, I was promised, specifically the ones I had requested were not delivered. The floats I received at max could fit five people each (X2). Again, not enough water. I rented for 6 hours because we were suppose to anchor for 4 hours, at least. We were anchored for 3 hours. Felt like our party was cut short. I was promised we would be able to go to Monument Island, when I informed the captain he made it seem like it would be too much of a mission. So the captain ended up taking us to trashy haulover where my children were exposed to nudity by men and women. Police had to get involved. Lastly, once the trip was over we were quite literally kicked off the boat. We were picking stuff up and trying to get everything out and at the same time we were being rudely rushed to get off the boat. They said they had another party coming in, but who books immediately after one finishes? Do they expect me to snap my fingers and make everything I brought on board disappear within seconds? They should not inconvenience me so they can squeeze out every penny. Also, find a Party boat Rental company that has a marina with a parking lot. This marina does not have a parking lot, which is extremely inconvenient. At the time of booking, I was not advised of this issue. It was not until after I paid the deposit that I was informed they had no parking available. At the end of the day this is my fault. I knew Kira was not professional, and I conducted business with a company who has an individual like that representing them. All the red flags were there, and I didn't take it as a clue.

Also, I could not find anywhere the $3 commuter tickets or packages, I have seen ads from you where you advertise that but, I could not find these anywhere on the website and then, most important of all the delay, we were there 15 minutes before departure as requested and nobody was there, at 6 pm the time the ferry was supposed to leave nobody there, no ferry, no personnel, so I called and they told me the ferry was 15/20 minutes late, I told the guy it would have been good if they texted the people that purchased the tickets online given they have all our details, he said it was posted on the website...............so, who goes back on the website once you have purchased the tickets? You should implement an automatic text alert for the customers that purchased the tickets informing them of the delay, so at 6.15 pm I did receive a text, this was 15 minutes from the original departure time, the alerts should be sent 15 minutes before departure or even earlier if you know there are delays, but ok, room for improvement, the problem is that we only left at 6.40 pm........ 40 minutes late; if you are planning to have commuters using this service you need to make sure that the ferry leaves on time otherwise you will never get this part of business, people need to arrive on time at work and if they are relying on the transportation you provide, you should really make sure to be on time, 5 minutes late it is fine but 40 minutes late it is definitely not. One more thing, you advertise that the crossing takes 20 minutes, yesterday by the time you leave and the time you get there and get off the ferry, it took 40 minutes, I think this is an important information especially for commuters that need to know the right time, if it is like that all the time, maybe you should specify it, I don't mind the 40 minutes but if I had to go to work I would want to know. Overall I love the service but you need to improve the service and if you expand to other places, I saw on the website that you will be going to Coconut Grove in the future, I will for sure use it but please get better so next time I can give you a 5 star @poseidonferry
