Great local gas/store, employees are always helpful. The store has a good selection and variety of snacks & drinks.

And it can get HOT in Cashmere in the summer months, so it can be great to have an air-conditioned store to go to and grab a box of ice cream bars when the nearby restaurants have already closed for the night. That is what my uncle and I did one Sunday night in the summer of 2021. We ended up at Martin's Market Place because we thought of getting a frozen snack later in the evening. Fortunately, we found a number of options to choose from. During the COVID-19 pandemic, frozen novelties have run unusually low on the shelves, not to mention the normal pattern of summer where ice cream offerings typically run a bit picked over. So, we were happy to have more than one product to choose from that Sunday. We were also pleased with the ice cream bars we purchased. Workers we interacted with were friendly, parking was abundant, and the parking lot was easy to navigate.

The managers there are awful people. I was at Martin's shopping recently, very organized and…read morenoticed two men (one whos 5'0 and the other looked 6'0) berating two store vendors stocking product for absolutely no I reason. It looked like they were doing a great job I believe and yet somehow these guys (Overheard his name was Santos) acted very angry and extremely negative towards them. I even witnessed a third vendor being kicked out but was not making a scene in any shape or form while the second one looked back and didn't seem to care. Seems like all these bullies do is abuse their power in that store and I don't think I'll shop here again. The energy they both bring kills the vibe and the positivity other employees bring to that store.

Dan's Market is a road warriors must stop for the thirst driven or hungry when traveling HWY 2 !…read more FRANK visited Dan's to scope out the solid local beers to fill my ice chest and discovered an aery of amazing treats... Upon walking in on your right will be the flesh section. No they're not selling sex but it's an area devoted to meat, you know dead animals who sacrificed themselves for my enjoyment. Nice selection of the flesh including prepackaged sausages from CURRED. For those wondering what CURRED is well it's a local ( Leavenworth ) artisan , handcrafted dry cured meats shop. They offer more than 30 varieties of award winning salami, sausages, and specialty cured meats crafted using traditional methods and high quality ingredients. I grabbed a package of BEEF FRANKS BTW for consumption later... The beer section is epic for a local store but stocked with several local brands you can't purchase at Walmart or Safeway so load up a few 6 packs.... Shocking the produce section was amazing with some really choice vegetables & fruit with vibrant colors and fresh smells... Now in a hidden area is a deli of all things. Dan's staff of elf's are making sandwich's and deep fried items.. The cheap deep fried burritos looked amazing and FRANK made a mental note for next time to grab one... Granted it's a grocery store so most of the items you find anywhere. Yet Dan's has a certain style I appreciate and this is why I'm drawn to shopping here... Anyways that's enough, you must make a stop in order to grasp DAN'S FOOD MARKET experience for yourself... You won't regret it!

What a hidden gem!! Their $6.99 sandwich deal is an awesome value, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a hearty, affordable hike lunch. You can choose from one of their set sandwiches (like the Reuben, Silly Phillies, or Wild Turkey) or build your own from a generous selection of breads, cheeses, condiments, meats, and veggies. And it comes with a complimentary bag of chips! - Reuben - a warm, pressed classic. Generous corned beef, melted Swiss, tangy sauerkraut, and Thousand Island dressing on grilled bread. Super satisfying and perfect trail fuel - Turkey Cranberry - layers of turkey with cranberry spread, cheese slices, and fresh fixings. Sweet, savory, and delicious The deli counter is right inside on your left when you walk in. Everyone behind the counter was incredibly friendly, genuinely chatting with us about our hike plans and offering samples from the bakery. Our sandwiches were made fresh and hot in minutes! The overall vibe is that of a local neighborhood grocery with staff who truly care. We loved it so much, we came back for round two. Don't miss this spot if you're prepping for a hike -- Dan's does a trail lunch done right!

Selection is small, but they've got at least one choice of whatever you need. In our case, some select produce, salad dressing, and a few snacks. I also was on the hunt for some hair ties because I forgot to bring some with (rookie mistake). They only had locally made scrunchies for $4 a pop, but hey - now's the time to support local more than ever! Service is a little slow, but that's okay. The ladies were really nice. They also do coffee here as well. I got an iced lavender latte and it was phenomenal. VERY powerful flavor so definitely only recommend for the REAL lavender lovers! Great option if you are in need of some basics.
