It ended up being their deal saved me over $300 over my insurance. Then I lost the nose piece to my sunglasses and tried to replace myself unsuccessfully. They ordered me a whole new pair of prescription Oakley purple iridium sunglasses. FREE!! I will keep bragging on this business because not only do they offer great deals, they are professional, courteous and friendly in the store. A lost service standard now.

Argued with the optometrist re dilating my eyes for an eye exam. I gave in because she insisted that the dilation was absolutely necessary. Never had eyes dilated for a vision prescription since I was a teenager and the glasses that the prior eye doctor got for me were always perfect. After the exam was complete I was walked over to the eyeglass part of the business which was attached, and long story short the resulting glasses were awful and pricey (over $700) so I tried them for 60 days and then went back. The eye doctor scared me by saying that my prescription had drastically changed. Had to pay $200 more to get the glasses remade. They still suck. The optometrist told me that my cataracts must have gotten much worse requiring surgery. So I got a referral to the best Ophthalmologist in the county and he said yes I have cataracts but they are nowhere near ready to operate on. Shame on you, For Eyes!! After another year and continuous issues with the For Eyes glasses, I went to Beach Vision and saw Kevin Brantley and no dilation required, and he was able to share with me what he believes went wrong with For Eyes. I will be writing a review for Kevin and Beach Vision after my new glasses arrive.

Kylie said I work with alot of older people that can't hear and I said well I have excellent hearing. We finished up and she took me to the next room. Once again yelling at me she said I would have to take out my contact so I did. Yelling once again she then said is it out? I said yes! Then she slams my folder on the table and runs out of the room. As I'm sitting there this woman (Patty) comes down walks past me then comes back and asks me to sit across from where I was and then Patty says I need you to change the way I'm speaking. I said excuse me what are you talking about? She then says well I was told that you were not being nice! I said my response to Kylie was YES! Patty then says to me well you need to get out! I sad ok and I left! Now, I know that Dr Granger will Not see this but she needs to rethink Patty's position as well as Kylie's position! I wouldn't recommend Total Vision to anyone! Loud mouth Kylie is going to find out that Karma will get her! Unprofessional and rude people at this place!

But to my knowledge they couldn't make lenses. Odd but your name is "LensCrafters". So I wanted them to send my prescription to the Athens GA location cause I was head home in a day or two. They said they couldn't do that. That they would have to mail them. Okay then they can ship them right to my house. NOPE! I have to pick it up from the Athens location. And the other store didn't understand why they were so difficult. Seven months later I need my prescription for work. I called and asked if they can email me a copy of it. NOPE! This LensCrafters does not have the ability to email. Not even from store to store. They said I could just come by and pick up a copy of my prescription. I told them I work 8 hours away. That won't work. Then they said they can fax it, but who has a fax machine? I work in a corporate office and we don't have a fax machine anymore. So I went to the LensCrafters in Birmingham, bless that store cause we called this store 4 times to fax over my prescription and I would just get it here. The Hoover location helped me so much. They were dumbfounded by the reps at the Daytona Beach location. Come to find out it's a HIPAA Violation to withhold personal medical documents.

It's called a "retinal scan" and it is not necessary for corrective lenses in healthy eyes. However, no $50 fee for his job, no exam performed for corrective lenses. No other places in Port Orange require this. When I complained he told me that "If you don't like it go somewhere else", and that his "fiance has student loans"...LOL. I call it "retinal scam". Avoid this place like the plague. Other reviews say the same, I wish I had read them before. I'm sorry to have to write this, but you brought this on yourself. Should Dr. Jordan have this person working under her? Rude a best, at worst, maybe unethical. Good luck where ever you two land.

The Fisch frame and the Man-O-War frame are the two best fitting sunglasses for my large head (7.5…read moreinch hat size) in the Costa line and most other companies sunglasses. I am very disappointed they discontinued the Man-O-War style. Costa is noted for having among the best lenses in the industry and the polarized blue mirror and green mirror are especially noted for use in fishing with the blue for deep water fishing and the green for inshore fishing. I tend to wear the Fisch Blue Mirror polarized more on land or blue water fishing while I use my green mirror polarized Man-O-Wars for inshore fishing and when just lounging at the beach or a pool I rotate through both. Costa's "Large" size is too small for head and I also have a pair of the Brine model that I really like the look of but they are just too darn small for my head and they dig in under my eyes too much so I wish they would make a version of this style in extra large too and let me trade the Brine in for a larger model. The only trouble I have ever had with my Fisch is the Costa neoprene strap will sometimes slip off of it as with the glass lenses this frame gets a bit heavy but this strap has kept my Fish afloat when strong waves have knocked them off my head so I wish they would make a neoprene version of the Costa Gripper and add the attachment slits to all their frames to use that option. Costa has been famous for their lifetime warranty that really made their sunglasses a good value but sadly they have changed their program to only being a two year limited warranty and now you can also purchase insurance for your sunglasses from them. So far I've had had to use my lifetime warranty twice for my Fisch frames due to having the black rubber parts on the frame just degrade and start disintegrating. For some reason they have also stopped making tortoise colored frames matched with their blue glass lenses. For my most recent warranty claim they didn't have an exact match replacement for my Fisch sunglasses so they gave me a generous number of choices to replace my sunglasses with so it seems I still fall under the lifetime warranty due to when I had purchased my sunglasses. Among the options I was given was the new Diego frame which has strap ready retainer holes in the temple tips. The Diego frame also has no rubber parts to degrade which also impacted my decision. So far I have liked my Diego sunglasses although I choose the "wetlands" frame color which looks similar to the tortoise color in the online pictures but in person it really just looks mostly grey. I still prefer the fit and look of the Fish frames and I hope they make an improved version with less weak rubber components so I can get another pair in the future. I'm not sure if my new warranty claim replacement sunglasses will still fall under the lifetime warranty or if I will be switched to the new 2 year warranty so I guess that remains to be seen and would certainly impact the value proposition of how I view Costa de Mar. So far I have been VERY happy with my experiences with Costa's warranty program and I hope that experience continues.
