Awesome little dungeon style food court hidden from the general public only for those in the know…read more Downstairs in pittsway arcade is a bustling city of food stalls and nationalities that are fighting for a table and their lunch You'll go from Malaysia to China swing back to Thailand then to Korea and Vietnam dishes that tantalise your senses as you wind down the spiral staircase to heaven I've been here a few times so far and this time I went to Chinese stall for some wonton duck noodle soup mmm I nabbed a chair after paying 12 bux for it plus extra vegetables and a coke I listen intently for number 14 and run to the counter when it's yelled out Omg a HUGE serve comes my way while I delicately wind back to my table ok taste The broth is ok I've had better as with the wontons but the vegetables are delicious and the chewy like fresh egg noodles rock. I barely finish it I give it five because it's a dining experience you need to try to understand why it's a five star dungeon Happy eats btw the laksa looks and smells spicy and Devine!!!

There's a Japanese grocery store (which is actually pretty good, one of only a couple of Japanese grocery places in the CBD), a generic sushi joint, a Japanese fragrance place and a mobile phone shop. There's also an entrance to the Town Hall Woolworths at the end of the arcade, and ultimately Town Hall station. However, towards the end of the arcade there's some stairs leading to a basement level. Again, until you look down them, it doesn't seem like there's much down there. If you decide to decend the stairs, you are greeted with a crowded food court packed with office workers, mainly Asian. The food court is not huge, there's only seven stalls, all serving a different Asian cuisine. There's Chinese, Malaysian, Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese, Nepalese and Burmese on offer, and it's all at bargain basement (excuse the pun) prices. The Malaysian stall has a lot of fans, but i'm sure the others are all good too. Nb: It's only open on weekdays (as it serves lunching office workers) for lunch.
