The only thing I don't get is that they have certain BBQ dishes, which are for take away only. It just doesn't make sense to me. On the plus side, the menu has the little chilli symbols to warn how spicy the dishes may be. I ordered the combination noodle soup and that included seafood, barbecue pork and chicken. You can choose either egg or rice noodle. My date ordered the pork spare ribs. My soup came out in about 5-7 minutes with a soup spoon but never got any chopsticks. Asked the waitress for it and got it, but my date's food still wasn't there. It came maybe 3 minutes later, which was a bit annoying. My soup had a lot of stuff in it - meat - pork, chicken and seafood - prawns and squid and a good amount of veggies - mushrooms, broccoli, carrots, chinese greens, but the broth was a bit bland. I had to ask for chili sauce, which made it better. My date's ribs were chewy and he didn't really enjoy it. Overall this place is a bit average - glad we didn't pay too much for the food. The menu was extensive, and while we were busy perusing the menu, a pot of Chinese tea arrived, followed by colourful drinks for the kids. Layers of bright rainbow colours excite all seven children at our table, including two of mine. I found out that kids get extra privilege here, they get free drink and dessert. Wagyu Beef Rolls with Enoki Mushrooms was a highlight, the beef was tender and perfectly paired with the delicate mushrooms right in the centre of each roll. We also had the Silken Bean Curd with mushrooms, Salt and Pepper Squid, a chicken dish and a pork dish.They were your average tasty Chinese food. Then the waiter came with a big bowl of dessert soup consists of sweet potatoes swimming in a muddy coloured sweet broth. The kids got a bright multicoloured rainbow jelly egg for dessert. They got a deli counter too and offer great wraps and rolls of your choice or the standard pork or chicken rolls which are really good for only $4. When I come here I tend to opt for the pork roll with extra chilli and an egg. Yum yum. Rice paper rolls are another good option here that I like. Available in chicken, prawn or Tofu with plum sauce. They sell juices too but haven't tried those out yet. Next time in Bondi Junction and want to save your money for the Westfield then this place is your new best friend.

Walking into the place, it was huge so that rumour is probably true! They have people walking around in trolleys which is great as you can just pick what you want. The prices are more expensive than the Haymarket yum cha but I think it's worth it. The dumplings are larger than other yum cha places and they only have 3 dumplings in a steamed bamboo holder. The reason for the 3 stars is because the service isn't great. Given the amount of people you would think the service would be better but it's sort of put me off. The Beef Tenderloin Fillet Fry ($20) is tasty but the Mixed Asian Greens ($10) is uninspiring. The menu is a little pricier than you would find elsewhere and you may find yourself leaving still relatively hungry. But if you order more (like I usually do) or come on a night when you are not incredibly hungry to begin with, then the quality of food should impress you. The restaurant is BYO and also has a coeliac friendly gluten-free menu and options for kids. The only issue I have with this place is the menu layout. I think it would be more successful if the dishes had a bit more description in terms of the sauces rather than just the main ingredient.

This is my second time eating at Noodle Inn in a while and although the first time was amazing with…read moretheir Pad See Ew and drink, they do not have that deal anymore. Instead it is a make your own meal on Mondays but it is around $12 and it is not as delicious as I remembered. The assorted ingredients lack taste and the place seems dull and out of the wonderful feeling I felt the first time. Probably will not go again but I recommend you try to see for yourself.
