I would recommend him to anybody and everybody, but I honestly I'm impressed by everybody there. Some tattoo shops are intimidating in the way they speak to and handle clients, but I never experienced anything but friendliness and approachable people here.

I had my choice of artist and after reviewing the shop's website and the gallery of each artist's work, I liked Joel's floral work ( my tat has yellow roses in it). The shop is well lit and a good layout. It is also very clean. They use padded massage tables for you to lie/sit on, while the artist is on a roll around stool. Like I said earlier, Joel worked efficiently, keeping me comfortable as possible while getting the job completed. I would recommend Black Anvil to anyone considering a tattoo. They have some amazing artists to choose from and handle your experience in a friendlly and professional manner.

The guy at the front desk was super welcoming, funny,…read more helpful, and patient through my deliberating and encouraging about my concerns rather than being dismissive. I came in for a nose piercing and he set me up with Mariah who was also cool, kind, and helpful. Maybe this is normal but I felt weird giving my tip before I went back but she definitely earned it. I'm from Texas but visit Fort Wayne often and will definitely return for any other piercing needs.
