I have given this location and the Clinton Street location my business for many many years , unfortunately this is probably the worst visit I've ever had, the Glenbrook location is employed by the younger generation that wanted to spend more time playing around than working on customers , one in fact was sitting on the counter falling asleep, we meanwhile waited 2 hours to have the tatt drawn up , we are patient people and we waited , the artist did do an amazing job on the tatt tho , the only reason this isn't given the 5 star is the fact the front counter people were so distracted by themselves and each other, my next visit will be the Clinton Street, and if they are run the same way then my business will not be back here read more

I just got back from getting a second ear lopes piercing on both sides of my ears at the Glenbrook mall location & I must say Esteban R* was so attentive, actually listened to me & understand how I was feeling. At The front desk both guys in was very helpful. This is right after coming from their other location down the street in which I talked to but I didn't feel was very understanding towards me as I was very nervous, Im very painaphobic so I was scared, he who was filled with tattoos & me(non) talked to me with little understanding of the fact I'm not too good with pain. I'm glad I came to the mall location, What a difference in not only understanding folks but they took their time with me:) I instantly felt much more comfortable going ahead with my piercing. read more

i got a piercing here and the piercer was awesome and kind. I got a bump so i went back just to check if it was ok. ( i understand bumps r a natural part of the healing process, it is no reflection of the piercer) there was a different man there who said my ear looked fine and helped me clean it. (thinking back it was not fine and the earring should have been taken out) Next he asked if i wanted to purchase more of the same earrings i had in my ear.... gave me uncomfortable looks up and down, then told me i should let him give me nipple piercings. It was so uncomfortable. I just wanted to know if they recommended using the aspirin method for the bump. I went to my car and cried and went to another piercing place and had them look at my ear. I went to this location to get a double conch piercing after first visiting the Clinton street location and being told that their piercer had left for the day. I'm actually really glad that this happened, it wasnt that much of an inconvenience because the place was right down the street anyways and I ended up having a wonderful experience. The piercer was friendly, professional, and quick with the two piercings. I believe his name was Stevie? I got lightheaded (normal for me) and he was patient and even fanned me haha! Didn't communicate that he hadn't started working on the piece yet, or that we could have paid $100 beforehand to avoid waiting 2-3 hours for him to draw up some flowers. He also forgot to mention that it would take him that long to draw something up. If he had ever communicated anything, from being late, to the time he'd take, to the fact that we could have paid a little extra, it would have all been fine. But he made excuses, never apologized, and called someone else in to get tattood when we were still in the shop. Super diva. Originally I got my Monroe piercing here-- back in June. Today I went back because I needed a stud... Upon my purchase I mentioned that I keep running into too long of stems. I mentioned this to two workers, the one who charged me and the one who was putting in the jewelry. When I went to get the new piece of jewelry, the worker was very short and seemingly frustrated. He sort of stormed out of the room, "Of course there's no fucking gloves and then a light slam of the cupboard door." He installed my jewelry and of course it was too big so when I was exiting I asked about it and he said that was all they had. I called back to ask to double check and he said he would refund me so I had to go back and stand in line. I guess it's just kind of frustrating because you should not have to follow up with your disappointment, if they are providing these types of services then they should know that the stud is too long, or that they don't have short ones for purchase. read more

I had this tattoo artist named Ron,. at glen-brook ft wayne mall. We had an apointment and we had to wait at least 4 hours to finally get the tattoo. The time the guy got me his hand shook like crazy. He also went into this speech about tipping, and how black people do not tip. It was the worse I have ever experienced. From his story of how black people don't tip. I didn't give him one. I have black people in my family. His story was uncalled for. Also the fact that his hand shook. It left me in an uncomfortable position because He already started the tattoo, and I didn't know what to do so I let him finish it. I will head to a different place this time. I was ok with it when I got my first two tattoos, but the third experience with this tattoo artist. It really changed my mind. read more

My son just graduated from the toughest program in the military. He was unexpectedly on leave for a few short days before his deployment so I wanted to get a tattoo while he was on leave to commemorate his huge accomplishment. I checked the reviews and then I called Grade A to see if they had openings in their Glenbrook mall location as I only had 2 days to get this done and I was told they did and I needed to come down after 1pm when an artist would be available. So my son and daughter-in-law and I walk in and the guy at the front desk is on his phone. He asks if he can help me while he's on the phone talking to someone else. I start to explain what I want and the guy listens for a second and goes back to talking on the phone. It sounded like he was ordering supplies. He then tells me to go ahead and explain what I want while he's on the phone. I start talking again and he goes back to talking on the phone. I stop talking and tell him nicely I am just going to have a seat until he is off the phone and can talk to me. In the meantime the person I originally talked to comes out. He listens to what I want and then tells me I need to go to their other studio on Clinton as they can't do that kind of tattoo there (I wanted an ankle chain). When I tell him he's the one who told me to come there he explains he needed to see what I wanted and that they dont do those kind of tattoos at that location but then asks the guy on the phone if he can do my tattoo. He says he can while still talking on the phone. So I am told to email the pics of what I want to them which I promptly do. I am also told I can get it done right there and they can do it now. A third guy comes out who acts like he is totally wasted. My daughter-in-law comments that I shouldn't get a tattoo from someone who is stoned. I am there 25 minutes. I ask at this point who owns this business. Phone guy is still on the phone. When every one goes to the back, the other guy comes out and walks up to me and my son (we are standing at the door) and whispers to us "you don't want a tattoo here - trust me go to our other shop". When their own employees are telling you not to go there you know its bad. Very unprofessional! I missed the opportunity of having my son be with me while I get a tattoo in his honor before he goes off to defend our country. Something we talked about and planned for over 2 years. A horrible first experience. The owner definitely needs to rethink what he has going on there. There are too many other professional shops in Fort Wayne! read more
