I started coming here six years ago to augment the lab time and instruction I was getting in school. Their darkroom was my happy place for a long time and was fairly priced. What impressed me the most about their gorgeous space was that they encouraged clients to get their work off their screens and onto the walls. Literally, any time I had a question about anything related to photography or printing, Stuart, Ed, Constance, Chrysta, or Nathan would make the time for me and help me out or give me feedback. I enjoyed printing there and always left feeling inspired because they were so kind, knowledgeable, and professional. If you'd like to learn about photography, I highly recommend checking out their services, classes, and workshops. I wish I could give them more than five stars!

My artwork was mishandled and the finished product I had hired them for was poorly executed and unusable. I had to take it to a qualified business afterwards who confirmed they did not do a good job. When I raised the issue, the owner and staff were dismissive, refused a refund, and ignored multiple emails and calls. Their unprofessional behavior was bizarre and astonishing. They clearly aren't equipped to handle valuable artwork. Save yourself the headache and take your projects elsewhere.

Really cool, claymation stuff like Robot Chicken style but without the technology and million dollar budget. For my bro's birthday, I ran to John to get them done as he could do it in 2 days. Great! Just in time. I'm glad I checked for quality before I mailed them because the audio portion did not get recorded. Rats! Like a decent businessman, he apologized and got the job redone as soon as he could. The quality came out just fine the second time around. I'll definitely use him again.

It really impressed me that another local business would forward a potential customer to LightSource. I wasn't completely sure what I needed. The staff were very patient with me, asking questions and explaining the options. Once we agreed on the work to be done, they used their in-house expertise with color to make the results much better than I could have on my own. They seemed personally invested in my project and always responded to my emails within a day. They could have phoned it in due to how clueless I was, but they didn't. High-quality professionalism and zero snootyness. I'd happily go back for any similar project in the future.

The team is highly skilled, polite and professional. They work with a super cool drum scanner to do wet scans that give you the best results. Everything was straight forward and easy. Smith Andersen North fixed the issue for me, no problem. Same issue happened again for the same piece of art. I left SAN a voicemail; no one returned the call. I emailed them; no one got back to me, so I scheduled an appointment to bring the art in for a consultation/fix. I got there today a few minutes early, called the phone numbers listed on the door--no one was there. I waited--no one showed up. I appreciate that times have been tough recently for small businesses and that SAN can't staff the way it used to, but they've got to run their business if they hope to have one. I'm done.
