Our server was nice and they were busy, so I drove back to pick it up. When I got home for the second time, I discovered that the $26 takeout meal was incomplete. The container only had the garlic bread, and the side salad that came with the meal was missing. Since the restaurant is about 15 minutes away, I called and asked if they could simply credit me for the missing salad. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, the manager immediately questioned whether the meal even included a side salad. It does. I ordered it, and it's part of the meal. He then told me the salad was $1.99 and that he could credit that amount in 8-10 business days. Since he didn't offer a salad voucher for the future I accepted. That did not sound right so I checked the menu after hanging up, where I found the salad actually costs $3.50. At that point, it wasn't about $1.50. It was about the way I was being treated. Rather than simply apologizing and making things right, I felt like the manager was being cheap and patronizing. Then I got irritated. So I decided to drive back to the restaurant again to pick up the missing salad. When I got there, the manager confronted me and said he had been "just about to process the credit", I told him he said $1.99 and that was not the price of the item, So I just came and got it. He then insisted he had told me he wasn't sure of the price. That isn't what happened. He confidently told me it was $1.99. It felt like he was trying to rewrite the conversation instead of taking responsibility. Oh his parting words were not I am sorry, it was "good thing I didn't process that credit!" Customer service 101 lesson, a good manager should know the menu, own mistakes, and focus on taking care of customers. We spent around $100 on dinner, and I wasn't looking for anything free just the item I'd already paid for or a fair credit. I expect better for the price. ($18.99 for chicken and fries.) The missing salad wasn't what prompted this review. It was the repeated attempts to avoid responsibility over a $3.50 side salad. He should have put me on hold. Looked and the menu and offered a customer focused solution. In the end, the restaurant likely lost customers over $1.50, not because of the money, but because of him. Mistakes happen everywhere. How they're handled is what people remember, and unfortunately, this experience left me feeling dismissed and irritated rather than valued.

Everybody but me did this because it was impossible to get everything done and be closed and gone in 15 minutes, and I got fired for not being able to do it, so they basically were forcing their employees to not follow safety regulations in order to close on time and not get fired. So this place is gross af and the owners are cheap assholes. Anyways, the other day I went there for a chicken bacon ranch and it was awful. There was hardly any meat on it, they changed the chicken from what it was before because this time it was like shredded and there was barely any chicken on it. Anyways, with a milk and bag of Doritos it was over 14 dollars for a foot long. The worst meal over ten dollars I ever spent. How is that food so fucking expensive and yet so shitty?

One worker was making a bunch of subsidies sure for a pick up order because no one else was in the place and the guy that serviced us seemed to have a big attitude. He made our subs very sloppy. The food station with all the veggies was a complete mess with white residue inside the pan of pickles. The veggies were mixed up with lettuce in the tomatoes and olives everywhere it was seriously disgusting. I am almost tempted to call the health department that's how bad it was. I wouldn't recommend this subway to anyone.
