Problems started right away: unsealed nail heads and jagged shingle edges hanging over the eaves. Bill came out to fix those, though I had to withhold final payment to get it done. Two years later, we found water coming up through a floorboard in a bedroom. The cause: the chimney was never flashed properly and the shingles around it were poorly installed. Water had been pooling and running down inside our wall for two years. It took a stretch of heavy storms before enough water reached the carpet for us to feel it underfoot. I called Bill. He said he was too busy with roofing jobs to come out, and that despite my 5-year guarantee, this wasn't covered under warranty. The roofer I hired instead was taken aback by what he found -- not just the chimney, but crooked shingle lines, more unsealed nails, and missing flashing in other spots. That company is just as busy this time of year and still managed to show up and fix it.

I'm disabled and like to sit outside and was able to watch as professionals took care to build me a driveway that I too could be proud of, simply by It's commission. I say commission because after my city inspection, the true artistry began. I was able to watch as they plied their trade, working in harmonious rhythm almost hypnotically. . Even and slow, slowly working rock, grit, and water into position, waiting for the final face of the work. Skimming and cutting lines, floating a layer, that after a gentle brushing the final piece in its entirety reveals itself ,a masterpiece. The next morning I sat talking with the guys sent here to remove the framing and backfill. We talked about Soccer, their kids and their pride in their work. I told them they should be very proud because it was truly remarkable. They finished by giving me trade secrets on maintaining my artwork for as long as possible and ensuring as much debris, as possible, was removed from the site.and the street in front of our home. How can I alone determine a masterpiece you ask? I can't. But I can tell you. In the last days, I sit proudly on my front porch as neighbors greet me with "it's beautiful." I respond with "Thank you, I think so too." I know making a decision in today's economy where getting value for what you pay for can be difficult but if my testimony eases some of that stress, just remember this. I had been collaborating with Frank Dixon regarding the roof replacement issues. I inquired whether Frank's company also handled porch work. Frank played a crucial role in organizing everything. On 5/22/2025 Manny and Julian arrived slightly before 8:30 AM. They informed me of their arrival at my residence. Manny and Julian took measurements for the materials, letting me know they would head to the store and return. They came back in about an hour. I am extremely pleased with the porch replacement. Additionally, I truly appreciated their professionalism and the respect they showed for my property during the construction process.
