I was basically brushed off and told that the order would ship that same day, that they would call me with an update, and that the rings would be there by Friday. I went back again today to follow up, only to find out that nothing had been done. The order had not been placed or shipped as I was told. Now, once again, I have been promised that my wedding bands will be here by Tuesday. At this point, after being given incorrect information multiple times and receiving no calls or follow-up, I unfortunately have no reason to trust what I am being told. What makes this situation even more upsetting is that I am leaving Wednesday to get married in Italy. These are our WEDDING BANDS. This is not an ordinary purchase that can simply arrive whenever it arrives. They knew exactly what these rings were for and the importance of having them before our wedding. Mistakes can happen, but what is unacceptable is the complete lack of responsibility, communication, urgency, and honesty. It has been nearly eight weeks since we paid for our order in full, and instead of someone taking ownership of the situation, I have had to repeatedly go to the store myself looking for answers--only to be given another promise that isn't kept. For a jewelry store handling something as meaningful and time-sensitive as wedding bands, I find this incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. What should have been such a special purchase for us has instead become an unnecessary source of stress just days before we leave for our wedding. I am beyond disappointed.

After a few years he relocated to Coral Gables where he hosted a public TV program called Facets. The show led him to open this Las Olas Carroll's Jewelers. Carroll's is one of the original stores in the Las Olas shopping district. Carroll's daughter Jeanne Ann and son in law Robert Moorman took over ownership of the Las Olas store. Carroll's Jewelers is now owned by the fourth generation of the Moorman family. A pair of earrings caught my eye and Emily came over to help me. They have a lot of beautiful new jewelry and one of a kind estate sale pieces ranging from $150 to many thousands of dollars. They also have a custom design team and a repair department. In addition to jewelry they also sell gifts which include frames, platters, and glass pieces. The store is elegant and beautifully decorated for the holidays. They promised to put it in a nice little box. They told me they had to make a special 'hidden clasp' for the pendant to make it look right. A week later the wife picked it up ( in a plastic bag), no 'hidden clasp' they just opened the pendant enough for the chain to fit through. Caveat emptor with this family.... Steve.... Where is the 'hidden bail" you charged me $125 for?‍ Just so people understand what a hidden Bail is... you cut gold out of my pendant to make room for the chain instead of putting on the bail you quoted. The store has a board in the back where customers can write a prayer or blessing of their choice and tack it to the board - I wrote "Be Kind". Perfect place for a reasonably priced gift.
