Okay okay okay.... so I decided I wanted to cut my hair into a fade maybe about 2 weeks ago, I wanted to find a barbershop that was close to me because I knew I would be there every other week. I typed in Black Barber Shop into yelp (don't judge me), and this was one of the first that came up. I skimmed through the photos and narrowed it down to this shop and another one on the list, now it was time to do an in depth search of the barber who had the best skills with the clippers. After careful consideration I chose Black Label. For the next week or so I was glued to their Instagram page and constantly checking their yelp like a true stalker. I knew right away I wanted the guy with all the tattoos to do my cut, I searched and searched and finally someone mentioned his name LONG! What a perfect fit, because it took me a long behind time to find out who I had been obsessed with for the preceding 7 days! Finally I went to the website and booked the next available appointment. So Tuesday came I couldn't wait to get in Longs chair to get my cut! My friend came to get me and we took the very short drive over to the shop where there was surprisingly so much parking even after the storm. We went upstairs and I walked into the shop with the dorkiest look on my face grinning as I asked for Long, he was just finishing up another client and I took my seat. Immediately I noticed how immaculately clean the shop was and how quiet and respectful the other barbers were. Long came over introduced himself, shook my hand and we headed to his chair. I showed him a few pictures and he listened to every intricate detail I mentioned to achieve my desired cut! During the cut I got to know so much about him because I was giving him an impromptu interview since I had been stalking his whole life for the past week. After he was finished it was time for the reveal... if you've ever gotten a major haircut before you know the feeling of the final chair spin before you see the mirror and OMG OMG OMG I freaking LOVE MY HAIRCUT!!! Always anxious when I move somewhere new and need to find a barber, but I hit the jack pot with this place. Very clean and styled well. All the barbers were working away on their clients and ALL of them were doing top notch work. The last time I went to a barber I was in the chair for half the time and charged more money. The staff here take the time required to produce quality work. It's really great to see a collection of staff that take great pride in their work and craft and it shows. I've never received so many compliments on my hair in my life after my cut. Don't be a fool and go somewhere else. read more

I looked for a decent barber in Burlington and couldn't find one. I saw the ad for BLB on google maps and took a chance. They all seem to know what they're doing, but I got klaudio as my barber. He's the best I've had cut my hair yet! Detailed and thorough, he asks questions and he's a great listener too. I didn't even have to clean up the occasional stray hair most barbers miss! All top-notch barbers. For men's cut and/or hot towel shave and grooming. . . you can't go wrong. As I wait for Long to cut my hair I watch the other barbers cut/shave and you would be happy to go to any of them. I've been a customer for over a year and have not been disappointed, masters of their craft. Parking in the area is tricky so plan ahead and although they take walk-ins (visit and find out who might have availability) it's strongly suggested to book online via the link to their web site (they use online booking service that will text AND email you reminders). Highly recommended by this satisfied customer. Side note to my moes: this is BROs-ville, hip-hop on speaker, ESPN on large-screen, but totally worth it... Very good barbershop Long and Jah are truly exceptional and skilled barbers. You will not regret getting your hair cut by either one of these two, and really are artist in this field, which I would rate them both with 5 stars. However one of the barbers (Dave) is the complete opposite of that talent, which is why I had to rate the shop a 3 star. It's totally night and day getting a haircut from these two, then letting Dave cut your hair. I unfortunately did something I never do and had to go to this barber due to poor scheduling and time management on my part. What is usually quick line up and am in and out, took over and hour and just didn't feel smooth or look right. I would not feel comfortable going back to this particular barber, however Long and Jah from my experience were excellent. read more

I have been going to Long (the owner) for many years at Long's Barbershop in Everett on Main St. And Remo's even before that as a child lol. I recently moved to FL and been here a little over a year now. A friend of mine told me that they relocated and is now called Black Label Barbershop. I went to Everett to visit and needed a haircut and wanted to check out the new place. Place is awesome. They did an awesome job. I usually get my haircut from Long but if he is busy I usually go to J. I used to get the same exact haircut since I was like 13 lol and I have never had to ask either J or Long how I wanted my hair but I am in a more professional job now and started changing up my hairstyle recently so I told J I had to change it up and told him what I wanted. As usual, gave me a great cut. I come back to FL and my girlfriend loved it along with other ladies =p hahaha. Great job as usual guys and love what you did with the place.
