My family and I have been coming here for years. We love the RV park. Kids have been fishing, swimming in The pool, and utilizing the water park. We truly appreciate the resort feel without the casino feel. It's truly great. It's also super helpful we can call the casino for a ride to the casino to take the kids to the arcade or dinner. This RV Park has turned into a money grab. $90+ per night plus the fee to make an online reservation. Site lock fee And if you check in between 12 and 2 there's another $25 fee. Split the difference and just have check-in time at one like most RV parks. We come here 1-3 times a year. Not one time have we been assessed the early check in fee. We checked in at 1:35 pm and were charged the $25. The smug, smartass attendant charged me when I said I wasn't ok with it. When we came in January we were not charged the fee. People next to us said they came in June and weren't charged the fee. By the time we were setup I didn't even turn on the power until 2:05. SMH I tried talking to the higher ups but to no avail. They all point the finger at each other. Point to policy. But it's ok to close the office down an hour earlier than posted. Thats fine. I know we are just tiny fish in their giant pond but i did some stuff that made me feel better. Instead of having pizza and bowling. We skipped the pizza and ate a better meal in our rig. Saved us $75. Our friends that live in Jamestown took us out for our anniversary. They were taking us to seven sisters. They took us somewhere else after talking with them. We had a great time and that $500 was better spent somewhere else. Instead of dropping $175 at their over priced gas station, which we always do when we come here. We will fill up at home. Also 3/4 of the items in the store are not priced. Retail 101, the price tag is the silent salesman. Lastly, instead of making a donation in the slots I kept my money. Usually it's only a $200 for me. So because of their poor customer service We spent over a $1000 elsewhere and not at black Oak. I suggest instead of saying you're subject to an early check in fee, you should say it's a mandatory early check in fee. read more

The park is fresh and close to new. The sites are roomy and clean. The pool, restrooms and facilities are very nice. We got here on a Tuesday and because we paid for the space lock we were able to move into a much better space for the week. All of the RV amenities are spaced just right and create an easy hook up and disconnect . Great power and water pressure is provided. Oh and you don't have to take your trash to the dumpster. The friendly staff comes by every morning and dumps you bags for you. read more

Overall disappointing. Very family oriented. 15 people on one side of is and 12 on the other side. Visitors should be checked in and limited. Need different family-size sites. NOT for seniors. Second, wi fi only worked one of four days. Last, children in driver areas skateboarding on stomachs-pretty dangerous to try to back out In vehicle. Also. numerous kids zipping very fast on e-bikes and scooters - no adult supervision. Also we were 15 min early to check in and were told to wait elsewhere for those 15 min! Pretty petty and put a damper on arrival. Just not a good experience. Seniors - stay away! read more

Really nice place, clean, and lots of amenities but beware of the water park. I hurt my neck, back, and tailbone on the slides as there's no warning as to how shallow it is. When we checked in, we went to look at Elevate and there were two children injured and one missing and no one was particularly concerned. As a mother, I was appalled. The staff is unfriendly and unhelpful, the gas station had no worms for fishing, and they allow golf carts but management harassed us every time we tried to park. Again, really nice place overall, but could use some overall customer service and safety enhancements. read more

We love this place. It is an amazing spot for families. Came back for spring break with our 11 year old son and his friend. They were gone all day fishing and at the RV park pool. In the evenings we hit Elevate, the jump park, and the family fun center. Love it! When parking just put a block under your downhill side tires and the trailer will be level! read more

I'd love to say this place was good so maybe I'll give it two stars instead of one. Their literature says no skateboarding. Well they allow electric scooters. This place is like a race track for 5 year olds. The entire time. These kids terrorized my dogs when we tried to walk outside the rv. They were going so fast that it was like crossing a highway with kids out of control. The internet is so bad I'm not able to even read the news on my phone. It's clean, but it's like a giant concrete pad. I wish there was something better around here but there just isn't. The pond is beautiful, the dog runs are fenced. If you like to gamble, which I don't, maybe you'd like it here. The extra star is because they have fuel, and propane to fill up on before you go. The girls that greet you are miserable. They cannot help with anything. If I were to suggest something I'd say get better internet. It's available. Then I'd say enforce kids not ruining this place. I didn't plan to camp at a skate park. That is what it's like. I have grandkids and I know how much they love skate parks. I've been with them, I know they're just having fun. But this is ridiculous. read more

This is a nice clean RV park that is great for families. It is relatively newer with flat concrete sites. The sites have full hook-ups for 30/50 amp. It is far enough away from the casino that you forget it is part of the casino. This park can accommodate most size rigs with back-in and pull-through sites up to 45'. If you are into gambling a shuttle drives around the RV park roughly every 30 minutes to shuttle people back and fourth. They have a really nice clubhouse which would be great for hosting a gathering or party. There is a heated pool, hot tub, dog park, playground, bathrooms and showers. There is also a medium size pond on the backside of the park. It is stocked with bass for sure and it is catch and release only. read more

We attended an Airstream Rally and loved the campground. We highly recommend. Nice big dog park. Nice, large clubhouse and two pickle ball courts. The pool was under construction and will be nice once completed in the summer. Large, level concrete campsites with a nice patch of grass. Staff were very friendly. read more

My husband and I came here with our dogs and stayed on a Monday and Tuesday in early June. The place was beautiful and well thought out. The whole place was concrete with individual grass pads for each camping space. I think each space also had a picnic table and a small tree. There was a pool and jacuzzi. The pool was heated, and it would have been nice if they had two jacuzzis so there could be an "adult only" one. It seemed like the teenagers took over in the evening. We used the laundry. It consisted of two washers and two dryers. They had a machine to change your bills to quarters. There was also a machine to buy detergent. There was a dog park that could have had better grass. It was mostly dirt. They did have a lot of areas with mulch, spaced all around the park that dogs could visit. There was a gas station and convenience store on the property. The shuttle to get to the casino was a phone call away. They pick you up at your site and drop you back off. The casino was pretty nice. They have a complimentary soda bar. A lot of places in the casino are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, so I recommend staying on different nights. At the Cafe, I had chicken pasta with a side of sautéed brocolini. So fricken good!! Very nice sites with excellent hookups. Shuttle is great, although we walked to the casino from our site. The sites were clean, the garbage pickup at the site was nice. The artificial turf was nice and our dog enjoyed it. Really the only issue I had was the amount of weeds around our site. It really took away from the cleanliness of the park and casino. Also, located in the club house at the pool they offer free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. We will definitely be back!!! read more

We have been coming for years. It's an annual trip for New Years. This year we were not sure since our house is up for sale. The website is down so we have to call daily to see if there were any cancellations. We got a site 2 days ago but we are calling daily for a deluxe site. Reservations are very nice and helpful and told us there was a deluxe site available. They transferred us to the Rv check in booth to make the change. They said reservations misinterpreted the site was not available and literally hung up on us. These people need training on how to speak to their customers. They are rude and it's because if us, the people that come up there that they have a job. read more

Absolutely love this place, love the casino, the the rv park but the service in the rv park booth is horrible. You book 2 spots and they put you 5 spots apart even thought they DO NOT let you choose your spot. You show up and no one is next to you yet they will not let your second spot take the open space. So ridiculous and they should be concerned that one day when other places near by open they might not enjoy their park always being full. I hope they either let you pick your spot or accommodate your reservation near eachother in the future. I booked over 9 months ago and come here very often and I would assume that 2 reservations under the same name would be neighboring spots. Especially if they are literally empty upon arrival. read more

For about 3 months we left emails and voice messages but it seems only one person handles it (Chrissy) and she doesn't reply or respond. I have stayed several times at the Black Oak RV park and love it. The staff has changed a few times and has improved vastly. There were a few employees that worked the RV checkin that were rude and very unprofessional. They had no customer service skills and definitely no computer skills, which is mandatory in this line of work. Currently, I would like to give a shout out to Jessica, Daniel, Lizzy and to the new grounds keeper. This facility is one of the nicer places that I have stayed. read more

Really disappointed the hot tub is Luke warm and the pool is probably warmer than it. We asked last night and they gave us an excuse about the emergency button was pressed... oh ok. So we waited like 4 hours and went in and it was still luke warm. Tonight we called and asked if the hot tub was heated Checked the temperature. It's cold. Get back from dinner and they close the pool area. A great thing about this place is the hot tub after skiing... Very frustrating there is just excuses and nothing fixing it. read more

Awful accommodating service and ridiculous at the check-in booth. We were there on September 12th, 2023, and we had made reservations for a certain site number, a month earlier, which they told us it was available for the dates we picked, and when we got there, they changed our site number to a different site and wouldn't let us pick another one. The upper level where we wanted to be was almost empty, and there was no one in the site we had asked for, we were told it was already reserved for someone else, even though they don't reserve? We arrived around 11:30 and they would not let us in the park. They said we were too early, and made us leave and come back at 12:00, then told us we couldn't have the site number we'd booked a month earlier. We canceled our reservation and went to Jackson Rancheria RV park what a wonderful and happy experience we had checking in there, it was as different as night and day, Black Oak RV park needs to change the way they treat people who have a reservation and are checking in, very doubtful we'll be back. read more

RV park is awesome. The only complaint is fishing. I have tried every way possible to catch something and have never even got a nibble. Others have tried with same result. I don't think they stock it but it needs it badly or they should close it. Casino additions after Covid are great. read more

Way too many bugs coming out at night. Once RV lights went on we were bombarded with cockroaches, spiders. Beetles, wasps and tons of mosquitos. We told facility crew and they were going to spray mint. Bring bug spray, because you'll need it! read more

This isn't an RV campground, it's unmistakably an RV resort. The place is ultra clean, and extremely well maintained. The roads within the park are all concrete, as are the RV pads. The sites have artificial grass, full hookup including cable TV (40 channels). There is a heated pool, and nice clubhouse that offers complimentary coffee. They have very nice clean showers and restrooms available. Additionally they have a shuttle van that takes you to and from the casino. (The casino isn't far but there is a steep hill getting back to the RV park some might not want to walk.) For those who have stayed at the Jackson Rancharia RV park, or Seven Feathers RV park on Oregon, this is the same type of place. The place is new, so new that while they are open they haven't even had thier grand opening yet. When finished there will be several more RV sites available and a pond that will have catch and release fishing available. Bocce ball and horseshoe will be available when the park is finished. The staff here seems extremely friendly, and exceptionally helpful and add to the enjoyable experience. They only thing I wish they had done differently was allow a little more room for your tow vehicle. It works, but if the park is full it can be a little tight getting into your site depending upon how your neighbors have parked. Overall a very positive experience here, I will be back. read more

Very disappointed after making a reservation 10 months in advance and specifically asked to have the two spaces together at reservation the girls told me that was done she even wrote on the reservation ti have the spaces together and I had that also emailed to me on my invoice and reservation confirmation, to my surprise when we arrived to the park they had us very separate one at the top of the hill and one at the bottom after talking to a very rude and unpleasant so called manager that walked while I was talking to a very nice young girl that was checking us in and did express how manny unhappy customers she had had do to the same situation. Sorry but if we make a reservation to be together in advance and you tell us that can be done than please owners the clients request we are paying for it, if you can't simply say that it can't be done. Remember you are the one loosing by having a bad review and money from a few clients that you could oh had coming back with big groups a few times a years. Get better management..... read more

A very nice park. Pretty new only a few years old. The sites are fully paved and in between have a nice little area with artificial turf. I like this way better than real grass. For one it always looks nice but also never have to deal with the park doing yard work and most importantly not knowing what days they water and all your chairs and grills getting wet. There is also a gas station with store which is very convenient. The pool area and club house are great. Camping here in winter and they heat up the pool. Hot tub was very hot (almost to hot). The staff are very friendly and helpful. Yosemite is a bit of a drive. A little over 2 hours to the village. But I've stayed at closer parks and this one is so much nicer. This is one of the nicest parks I've stayed at. Would put it above cava robles and flying flags. The casino is a nice bonus if you gamble but even if you don't there are restaurants a bowling alley and bar with live music. Will be coming back for sure. Oh and we were here during playoffs and was able to watch all the games. I saw one review that complained about cable. We had no issues with it. Also a positive is the WiFi. Was able to use smart tv off park WiFi. Usually have to use hot spot. Also forgot to mention they have a fishing pond. They say stocked with several different fish so bring your pole. read more

I gave this a 1 even though it is a 5 star in appearance and amenities. Doesn't take long for a great place to be discovered by those who don't care about anyone else. We were in the pool, and a group of 20 people who all must have been camping and partying together showed up and took over the pool. Kids diving and splashing, chicken fights while we're also trying to enjoy some space. Parents use the pool as a baby sitter. Staff cared not. My wife and a fellow couple were both hit with their pool ball as the groups parents got super intoxicated. I asked one bearded tatted parent if we can get some space to enjoy our pool and cocktails with our group of 6. The guy nearly wanted to fight me for asking, even though this was after we were hit with their ball 3 times. My problem here is the staff watched and did nothing. Kids were running and diving in groups of 6, splashing pool water into our drinks. We finally left and I notified staff, didn't care. I watched for 20 minutes the staff never even left their air conditioned office to say a thing. I watched another family complain and they were given free access to the hotel pool, staff even said that this pool can get rowdy. Campers, mature adults, looking for a place to relax and enjoy... AVOID.. party-ers with their new first RV, have at it! Those of you that know etiquette, don't expect the same courtesy here, or that the place and staff want that. I'm actually here for our last night. This RV park I would give FOUR stars EXCEPT, for two important issues: 1. Very poor response via telephone in trying to reach someone to discuss concerns. Security tried to help connect me, without success. We stayed 4-nights/5 days. 3. Terrible cable service!! The whole park lost electric power several times but it was reestablished rather quick. Why is the cable so poor then? 3. We stayed the fourth night to chill, relax & watch Sunday football in the comfort of our rig. After 2-3 days of casino activities and spending DOLLARS there. We watched pregame for an hour, as soon as the game came on, all the channels showing football games became scrambled & wouldn't connect. All other 26 channels, clear as day. Other than that, classy RV park; we'll thought out, but kind of expensive when cable & WiFi are so POOR. read more

This is by far one my go to's when we just want to get out of town and have an easy relaxing trailering weekend. Every space is comfortable, the pool is heated at the right times and there is a pond to go fishing. Also an easy walk or casino provided bus ride to the casino where you can gamble or enjoy a great meal. read more

We stayed here for 8 nights while doing some work in the area. It was a concrete paradise. LOL! PROS: The clubhouse was nice. The pool and spa was very clean and large. Lots of little areas to lounge around. The weekend was loud and packed but settled down at night. The weekdays were very quite. The staff was SUPER FRIENDLY and HELPFUL. Always around. Showers were really nice and big. Close to stores and shopping. Casino shuttle all the time. CONS: No wood fires allowed. Sink broken through our entire stay, which made it so that only 1 restroom was available in the laundry area. Hook ups are far back. We had to go buy parts so that we could hook up properly. We heard similar situations with others. Sap in the dog park, made the ground really sticky, which is not good for a fluffy dog. All in all we enjoyed our stay. It was convenient for us but didn't have that camping in the woods feel. read more

Been here a few times over the years. Pros: Nice and new, can walk to casino. Woods atmosphere Cons: Loud, obnoxious kids running wild and no one is controlling them. Loud, obnoxious adults who think this is party place. Loud music is annoying, this is not a nightclub. Spots are way too close together. Not much room to fit anything in your spot besides your trailer. No "breathing" room which is part of the reason for camping. We will stay away as we don't fit in here with immature adults and wild kids read more

This is such an awesome RV Park - and we've stayed at many! Did a staycation here this weekend for the Brew Fest and a concert at Westside Pavilion. It's so clean and they make everything convenient from the dog walk area to the trash pick up to the shuttle service both on and off-site. We took advantage of the saltwater pool and it was delightful. Although it's only 10 minutes from home we captured that relaxing vacation feeling! read more

"Customer Service"........finally an RV Park that gets it!...........This was Rainbow RV's 2nd year holding our Christmas Rally there at their RV Resort. Jennifer their group reservation manager welcomed us with open arms and made sure our stay was pleasurable; despite the rainy weather we encountered during our rally. The Jacuzzi & Pool was toasty warm throughout our stay even in the rain..........Staff helped us decorate their well appointed club room; they didn't have to but when they saw all the Christmas stuff we had to put up they opted all to pitch in and help. The RV Resort has Corn Hole game boards, well manicured "Boche" ball courts and Horse shoe courts, and patio area BBQ's. Shuttle service to and from the Casino gaming floors are at your beacon call...........Special thanks to Don the head maintenance guy for prompt trash pick-up and help in arranging our tables in the club room. read more
