First of all, let me say that I don't leave reviews unless the service and product is unbelievable or unexceptional. Coby, who was my main point of contact at this location was very helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating to my needs. I have a 2007 F150 that quite honestly I didn't plan on keeping however it's always nice to have an extra vehicle, especially a truck. I went in with the sole purpose of having a new head unit that was Apple CarPlay enabled as well as a back up camera and tint on my driver, passenger and front windows. These guys are extremely knowledgeable in what they do and professional in the manner in which they execute. I could not be happier with the install of my new 10" Apple CarPlay enabled single din head unit as well as the two 10" subwoofers and amplifier that I totally didn't even plan on buying, but Coby made it so easy. Thank God the front desk receptionist was very friendly. Because the men that did the actual tinting never even cracked a smile. Prices are higher then average and I'm not sure yet if the tint I received is any better than other quality shops. I've only had the tint a few days and it's still setting from all of the rain/humidity we've had. I will update again in a few months. Three stars until I know in a few months what the real quality of this tint is And three stars because of the grumpy a$$ tinter Who I only encountered when I asked to put some papers in my glove box. I had contacted Black Optix about doing work on my 2019 Jeep Renegade. I had a 2" lift kit installed and when I picked it up and drove away it sounded as though something was loose and making a lot of noise in the front end. I took it back to them and they did some tweaking and added some washers to the top of the struts...problem solved. I was also getting 1 1/2" wheel spacers installed,at no fault of B/O they did not fit. Due to unforeseen circumstances it would be another month before they were able to acquire the new spacers...installed now and I'm happy with the results. I had ordered a set of 3" round side steps from CARID and was having B/O do the install , due to CARID not researching what they sell they weren't compatible with my particular model and did not fit. B/O spent probably an hour trying to do the install before realizing that they were not going to fit properly. They didn't charge me anything for they're trouble. I've also had some tinting done and am satisfied with the results. I'm happy with the outcome and would recommend B/O. Sam was the associate that I dealt with and he was always very helpful. read more

Got two of my vehicles tinted there. I paid for all the windows to be done on my car, along with the front windshield strip. Once I came to pick it up, the windshield strip was not installed. So I went inside to let them know. It was installed very quickly and sloppy on the spot. There are gaps on my rear side window and the corners of the front strip and bubbles on the rear windshield. There was also dried up application solution residue all over the interior trim. Overall, very sloppy work. On my truck I only had the front driver and passenger windows tinted. The passenger side now has an angled line pealing up in the shape of a squeegee blade and a bubble beside it. I followed instructions on not rolling my windows down for the allotted time with both my vehicles. I do not recommend this company, nor will I ever go back. Black Optix in Myrtle Beach is the worst of the worst, had my 2018 car there to have the paint protective film removed from the hood, bumper and fenders. In doing the removal they pulled off paint in 3 places and left adhesive all over the car, mostly on the bumper. I took my car to a body shop and they said it's the worst job they have seen in over 30 years and it's going to cost me $700 to completely repaint the bumper.....the Myrtle Beach store "manager" blamed everything about the crappy job but themselves....DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY read more

Took my 2019 road glide to them asked them to removed the install I had done by a different shop dint chew them down on price they had my bike for six days they started the work on day promise. They dint know they had to remove factory eq from harley so my speakers kept on blowing . So they blamed me till I had to bring to differnt shop in florida were they removed th factory eq ..... left review on google they froze there reviews .... not a good place . Would not recommend Black Optix Tint. This makes my 3nd attempt at making a review on Yelp. Idk how but my reviews keep getting taken off. Makes you wonder. I will be posting reviews here and everywhere else until I get a refund. $170.00 UPDATE: Doesn't matter if I have the truck or not. The truck is still in the family. And the work has been REDONE by a real professional installer in another state. The fact that you saw the pictures of what your guys did and you don't want to do right by me by reimbursement of any percentage at all shows a lot. On top of that the fact that I posted all these pics on fb, google, yelp, and other websites in 2017 and that they had been removed and your just now responding because I keep reposting this or !?!? I have done business with Randall and his team since 1997 first as tint masters now as his new business black optix. I have trusted him with all my vehicles, my kids vehicles and numerous friends . I have never had a problem either with the workmanship or the tint. Most people don't know they also do the hurricane film for your home and tinting of businesses. Worst experience ever!!! Do not let this company touch your car! They will hack your car up! They left parts out of mine. Drilled holes in my car without asking my permission or telling me they were going to, and used electric tape as their way of splicing wires instead of what the real professionals use. (Solder and Shrink wraps) To top it all off they lied to me about certain details of how the install was supposed to go. One in particular is no soldering was done. I asked for a refund or partial refund because even though the manager offered to try and fix it I know for the most part the trust is gone as well as the ability to fix it. Once you cut or spice a factory wire on a vehicle or device or drill a hole you can't fix that. It took a lot of trust just to let them near my vehicle. They surely were not about to touch it again. I hope that little bit of money I wanted back will be worth it because I know A LOT of people. I will show and tell EVERYONE how terrible of job this hack shop did. I had my windows tinted here two weeks ago since then I've had the drivers and passengers door retentinted also the front windshield had to be addressed three times now I'm left with a full suv of tinting I am not happy with it has white marks, scratches,debris between the film and the window my car has a scratch by the drivers door , they scratched the windshield and they were very reluctant to repair the whole car even though I expressed how much I hated it so I ended up getting the front drivers and passengers windows redone! Now I know that no window tinting job is perfect because that's what they told me!!! That's just an excuse for a rushed job they tinted my whole car which is a SUV in a little over an hour and I can definitely tell by the results that it took an hour. I will DEFINITELY HAVE TERRIBLE THINGS TO SAY ABOUT THIS PLACE TO ANYONE THAT AILL LISTEN AMD WRITE IT EVERYWHERE I CAN!
