I didn't get the sales pressure or we are the best. What I got was a genuine conversation. He told me about the laws that others didn't. He recommended what he felt that would be best for my vehicle. Not the most expensive film that they carry but what he'd get if it were his car. They weren't the cheapest place I visited but how he treated me & was honest and very knowledgeable about tinting.so I decided to have them do the tinting. Simply the best shop to install Xpel Plastic Protective Film PPF. Took my Tesla to this shop for a PPF wrap on the front facing surfaces. I also got them to tint the 2 front windows. It's been almost 2 years since we got it done and the car still looks new. The installer was very skilled and the car looked perfect upon (very) close examination. I brought my brand new 2019 Mustang GT/CS in for full window tint. Guardian was highly recommended and after speaking to them for just a short while I understood why. Friendly and professional, they explained my options based on what I was looking for. I went with Black Ceramic 30 on the side and back (legal in SC) and Air Ceramic 80 for the windshield. The work was done in a timely manner and the end result was excellent. Pricing was very reasonable for the work done. Now I did have a small issue. A few days after the work was done I noticed a couple of specks in the rear window (these things do happen). I texted Jason on a Saturday and he got back to me immediately. He apologized and asked me to bring the car in first thing Monday morning. They redid the window and all is well. Nicely handled. read more

I have never felt the need to endorse a product or service that I have received, but I had an incredible experience with a local business yesterday and wanted to share. Guardian Security Films provides window tinting for homes, businesses, and vehicles, and is owned/operated by Jason Carr, who lives and works in the Myrtle Beach area and his children attend our schools. I do not know him personally, but nevertheless the quality of his product and his customer service went above and beyond and I felt the need to share. He has been in the business for over ten years and mainly applies tints for large businesses, including local hospitals, malls, and large office buildings, but he also does vehicles and homes. He is the only business in our area that uses Huper Optic window films, which are superior to 3M and the reason I contacted Jason in the first place having researched different window tints on my own and deciding on that product. Jason tinted all of the windows on my Honda Fit and they look amazing! I could not be happier! Outstanding job! These are the guys you want to go to when you want your car tinted, they do great work. Although their shop is a little 'hole in the wall' place on Seaboard, don't be scared off. I was hesitant to take it to them because of that reason but they proved me wrong! Also, do yourselves a favor, DO NOT go to Tint Masters and have any work done to your car there even though they have a nice looking, 'legitimate' shop. Not worth it! They do shitty work. read more
