We were in Waco for Baylor's graduation week and decided to visit Black Rifle with another gal and her family. The two ladies at the shop later on a Friday afternoon were both so kind and helpful. My family and I were visiting from California and wanted to bring back some goodies to friends who were babysitting our dogs. The ladies were so helpful! We also loved that they were doing a fundraiser for a fallen firefighter's family and loved supporting that. We love the ambiance too! We would highly recommend this company and this location in particular. read more

None of that "Green Siren" stuff from Seattle here, this place proudly stamps "America's Coffee" on their cups and the merch for sale says "F*ck Your Sensitivity." Yeah, this is caffeine for grown ups. Discounts for military and first responders (which doesn't include me) and tons of stuff for sale in addition to coffee and breakfast sandwiches. T-shirts, hats, thermos cups, decals and of course coffee. Cans of coffee and bags of coffee too. A TV in the corner points out how much philanthropy they're doing for veteran groups. Plenty of inside seating with power outlets and a very speedy wifi. All the stuff that they sell inside merchandise way cool they have something for everyone. The store crew are on the money when it comes to making coffee with the pairing coffee. Coffee is great. It's no cheaper than Starbucks, but significantly better. I will say, the service I've experienced the past couple of times isn't great. Visibly angry cashier. Also, my least favorite thing about this spot is the drive thru. Paying 5 dollars for a coffee, then asking "one more question I have for you is if you'd like to leave a tip, the options are 1 dollar 2 dollars and 3 dollars" was ridiculous. I prefer hitting no tip on a little iPad. Overall, the delicious coffee is the only thing making me go to black rifle. read more

What a way to start the day. Ordered a Medium Americano with an additional shot. Order received and on the highway I went. A couple of minutes of HWY 6 i believe it was and i go to take a sip of this hyped up black liquid gold. Immediately, I felt extremely hot liquid on my hand, chest, and thigh. I thought the lid wasn't secured properly but that wasn't exactly the case. The entire rim of the cup was soggier than pissed soaked paper sack. Either I got yesterday's cup or i got last week's cup... Either way, I chose to die like a man and decided to pour the crap cup into the conveniently provided second cup (heat barrier in place of a cup sleeve). I go to grab the original cup and it Immediately tears apart (see images). In hindsight, I am currently traveling for work and happened to have a change of clothes in my rental. Needless to say, I do not recommend the coffee shop after starting the work day this way. read more

Mr. CAL was very helpful in helping me decide which beans my dad may want, and told me about the Father's Day bundle, so I got 2 bags of coffee beans and a sticker! I just went through the drive thru, but the girl serving us was very talkative, polite, and friendly. The coffee was great

First time in a black rifle coffee and honestly, it felt like a cracker barrel on a smaller scale. They were at least 4 to 5 people working, but they were mostly focused on the merchandise. We places are order and the coffee came out fast, but it took 15 minutes or so for the pastry to be ready. It was weird because we were the only people in there at first so not sure what took so long but again, it seem like the focus was more about the merchandise and less about the coffee experience. I would say the employees could definitely be nicer and the focus needs to change the customer. Too many other good coffee places in the area so I will not be back. read more

Coffee is great! I have a problem after paying for my $6.44 coffee and being told that is my total, and driving off to see my receipt had a $2 tip on there. I was never even asked to leave a tip or sign for anything. There is also a charge of 0.12 for F&B, I am not sure what that is. It is very upsetting for people to think they can just take your money and they feel perfectly fine about it. read more

Best tasting coffee I've had in a long time! We stopped by as we traveled through Waco and the coffee was delicious. They also had some interesting tea choices. The menu was limited compared to big chains like Starbucks or Dutch Bros; however, I don't consider that a negative. Very nice and attentive staff. Very calm and relaxed atmosphere and reasonably priced. I wish we had one near home! read more
